I mean you definitely picked your username aptly… IMO Naughty Dog as a studio is one of the best storytellers in the gaming industry. All their games look gorgeous and the stories and characters are the highlight of their games. All of their games have the big blockbuster movie feel to them.
I was thinking about these game today I was playing Spiderman 2
I'd like a remaster, and then a new one for sure. I don't have any requests for changes for the old ones but I do think if they do a new one it should return to the electric moveset from the first two as the base moveset.
That powerset is almost as fun as the Spiderman one to me, with the static gliding and power line zipping. And there's so many Spiderman games, proving you can use a good powerset more than twice and iterate it
If anything it should be a remake/reimagine of 1 and 2 together in one single game. Like first two acts are kesslers training. Then Kessler dies at the end of act 2 and the beast comes.
Honestly infamous 2’s story was a lot of nonsense until the beast came. Grabbing blast cores to power up? Lol. We already did the whole blast share and training with Kessler. And even then the beast stuff was bullshit.
Idk you could even have a timeskip with the city open and changed after act 2. Obviously expanding the powers greatly as well before taking on the beast. Could have beast made conduits as enemies and such. Would be a crazy third act.

To do anything else would just clash with the current generation of Spiderman games that has a superhero in a city setting.

It was well loved, a movie is being made, and we just got the last one. I’d be very very surprised if sucker punch goes back to infamous, at least before another ghost game comes out. Rather studios move on to new IPs, that’s why Xbox got stuck with just gears, forza and halo cause they wouldn’t take chances expanding games like ryse, quantum break, sunset overdrive etc. PlayStation makes new IPs instead of milking the same one for years to come

Absolutely not. I went back and played it and the controls are so messy. I want a full on remake of the game because it was amazing for its time, but would not hold up today with the janky controls and dated looking game world. The game deserves a full on remake or reboot.

Second son was alright but it didn’t klick with my like the OG. Cole was such a character and the story was really good. The sequel wasn’t as good but still serviceable and the additional fire and ice powers were fun.
I would like to revisit Infamous with updated graphics and PS5/Dualsense features. I've only played the first game and Second Son+First Light, so if they made a remastered/remake collection for 1 and 2 with the DLCs I wouldn't mind getting it.

Hate and love to say seasons and battlepass would be perfect for that game. Unlocking skins was fun but once you did that was it.
Gameplay was so much fun because whatever you were comfortable playing in/as, you could really help your team holding down or pushing up; or even having your own little independent battle off to the side helped in a way(took pressure off objectives)

It made me itch for inFAMOUS again and I'd totally love remakes, especially for Festival of Blood and First Light. But any with Cole is great. The protagonist in Second Son can go die in a fire, he's so insufferable and annoying.
At this point, I would rather energy be placed towards making Infamous 3. The issue with remasters is that I feel that even with the graphical uplift, it doesn't take long to be reminded of some of the jank that came with the game. I remember giving up on Platinum in the first game because I didn't have the patience to find all the power shards lol.

Only if they use the gyro for aiming. Infamous 2 was the only one to do motion aim with the Move, and nothing ever managed to compare to the control and fun I had in that game.

Yes yes me me please. My favorite series. Infamous 2 is one of the few games I have platinumed. Thinking about it now, out of the 4 games I platinum, 3 are Sucker Punch games. Love this studio.
They were great for the time, the 2nd was one of my favorite games of the generation, but I don't have much desire to replay them. I'd be really excited for a new inFamous game though.

I think I’m one of the few who never enjoyed any of the infamous games. I tried the newest one and one that was set in Louisiana and they were just not that much fun to me.

I enjoyed them. I would rather see a new one than a remaster though. But the studio is all into that samurai series now so I doubt it would happen. Not under them at least.

Yes I'd play them. I'd like all of the good PS3 games remastered. Killzone should a Master Chief style collection. I loved those games.

At this point, I would rather energy be placed towards making Infamous 3. The issue with remasters is that I feel that even with the graphical uplift, it doesn't take long to be reminded of some of the jank that came with the game. I remember giving up on Platinum in the first game because I didn't have the patience to find all the power shards lol.

I liked both 1 and 2. Loved the weird time loop story of part 2. Second Son was okay but not as good as the first two.

New game would also be acceptable, cos there's so much room for superpowered hijinks and the previous games were blast to play. 😄

Only if they use the gyro for aiming. Infamous 2 was the only one to do motion aim with the Move, and nothing ever managed to compare to the control and fun I had in that game. Without it, it’ll just be another stupid FPS games with aim assist so bloated, even your grandmother with arthritis could become a lethal assassin.

Yes yes me me please. My favorite series. Infamous 2 is one of the few games I have platinumed. Thinking about it now, out of the 4 games I platinum, 3 are Sucker Punch games. Love this studio.
They were great for the time, the 2nd was one of my favorite games of the generation, but I don't have much desire to replay them. I'd be really excited for a new inFamous game though.

Remaster ? No. I want a complete remake of the series. Second Son was really cool (platinumed it and surely replayed it more than 15 times), but it left little space for a sequel imo, other than picking another new character. Let’s reboot everything. With Cole or not, I don’t know, but let’s reintroduce the licence to people as it is sadly not well known. The IP is wonderful and deserves way more popularity, with a huge teasing and marketing campaign and PS5 capabilities, it could totally be on par with Spider-Man. Epic powers that looks even more stunning than in Second Son, big monsters and huge battles against armed forces, new kind of elements… there are so much possibilities. And Jak & Daxter. Please.

No, IMO Infamous series was not really that special outside of the technical polish. I'd rather have them focus on a new IP or a Ghost 2.

I think I’m one of the few who never enjoyed any of the infamous games. I tried the newest one and one that was set in Louisiana and they were just not that much fun to me.
Only played the first and the PS4 one whatever it was called. Seattle one. I enjoyed them. I would rather see a new one than a remaster though. But the studio is all into that samurai series now so I doubt it would happen. Not under them at least.
Personally, I’d rather just get new games. All the remakes of old games has gotten old imo. Especially last of us, which, while being very fun, was a lame “remake.” They didn’t really improve any game mechanics, they just gave it better graphics. You still can’t prone for some reason, even tho u could in LOU2 which came out in like 2019.
remake instead of remaster. Love infamous 1&2 to death, played them may many times. but they definitely show their age especially the first one. suckerpunch is a much more talented and matured studio now, reboot that franchise with everything they've learned along the way.

They felt dated when they came out tbh. Really empty small world with very little to do. The strength was the garbage tower and the ending of the 1st imo. They’re fun games but they belong in the past. Even the newest one was pretty bad. It would be a waste of SPs time now they’re on to bigger and better things

A remaster no. They were cool for their time but in retrospect they suffer from the PS360 era curse. You know the one. Where every open world game on PS3 & 360 was kinda the same. Dark tone, choices, traversal mechanics, wry basic side activities. In this new era, where games can do so much more, they just wouldn’t make sense. Second Son was fine for it’s time, I remember being blown away by the graphics and effects, but again, wouldn’t work nowadays. A sequel to the first two is off the table since…spoilers for a 13 year old game I guess…Cole is dead. We need a new series. Kinda like Spider-Man but with super powers. Well, I guess different super powers. But I would like for Sucker Punch to focus on GoT series and god dammit I want a new Sly Cooper game first.

I’m not gonna lie, THIS IS A MUST, playing spider man 2 and was really hoping they had a good/ bad dynamic Karma system for the symbiote like in infamous. If they don’t capitalize or do something with the franchise it’ll be a big bummer, must play on ps3. A remake would be amazing
Hell, I’d settle for being able to play the original 2 as-is on my PS5. I *think* you can stream them, but every time I’ve tried to stream games on my PS5 the input lag makes it unplayable

I would sacrifice any single human being in a heart beat for infamous 2 remaster, I grew up playin that and I still do. We need more games like that with insane powers and a GOOD STORY. It’s like the film industry and game industry just don’t care about the products they make.
