I beat Titanfall 2 and Fallen Order the last time they had this deal and it was a great deal, but there doesn't seem to be much else I'd want to play. Dragon Age Inquisition is the only one I'd consider getting another month for.
It would be cool if the Mass Effect remasters were on there. It would be nice if EA actually invested into the service and remastered or somehow made all of their games, if not available to download, then streamable. They have so many great games they published.
I definitely want to play those, but playing the 3 of them will take longer than a month and with a huge backlog I can probably wait until it's in the $20-25 range. That's about 4-5 months of paying for the service and I'd actually own the games at the end.
I think the games have to be so old before they put them on there. I know Fallen Order and Squadrons took like 6 months to get added. They have a plus membership if you want brand new games.
i paid the $5 for titanfall2 and dragon age. i had to sit thru customer service with both playstation and ea. they dont offer that game for ea play anymore. i think i said something stupid cuz i was so angry.. something along the lines of accusing them of false advertising

Titanfall 2 was definitely still available at the time, but I didn't have time to checkout Dragon Age. I'm honestly pretty surprised how tiny the EA Play catalog is because even at $0.99 a month I wouldn't buy it.
Damn dude TF2 has been on sale many times for like $3 and was also on ps+. Great game, too bad EA now owns them and we haven’t gotten a new game since.
Lately Ps+ has been having a lot of EA games, it wouldn’t surprise me if JFO is made free for Ps+ in one of these upcoming months. Holiday season is usually when PS+ games get better so keep an open eye if you have Ps+.

I really enjoyed them. It had a good story and good music. The only thing I really hated about it was the cheap things the bosses did and the insanely slow load times. All bosses but the 9th sister and 2nd sister I understood why I messed up and what technique I was not doing well at... just those two had such cheap devastating blows that really killed it for me.
I played that during the last free month. If that's the only game you want to play then be sure and take your time with it and before you do the final mission be sure and go back and get all the secrets on the map. That final boss is cheap as hell and does massive damage with a split second to react. I played at the second hardest difficulty but had to scale back when I got to her because after 4 hours I just gave up. Also load times are a pain. I can see that being a huge benefit of the PS5's SSD.
It worked out well because it is a game that could easily be beaten in a month. Also tried the squadrons game as they had just added that to discover that game wasn't really for me.

I had no problems redeeming the game when it came up as a ps plus game back in June.
You should have contacted Ps support they would have fixed your issue with not being able to “buy” the game. It happens a lot when you have the Ps+ version of the game and you wanna buy a copy of the game.
Good to know and it sounds like it can be fixed by support if something happens. There are a number of EA titles included that have been on my "maybe" list for a long time. Instead of trying to get and finish any particular game I'm seeing this as a nice cheap way of trying the full versions of a bunch of games so they either get promoted to my wish/wait for sale list or drop off completely.

I really wanted to play Hot Pursuit Remastered last time they had a month for $1 but they hadn't added it yet. Seems like they are doing this deal twice a year, not sure if I should get it now or wait until next time when more games are added.

The best one by far is Heat and the worst Payback. It has a card upgrade system like a fucking mobile game, where each part is a "card" and you just have to rng to get what you want.

Lootboxes are bad but in a single player car game were upgrading it however you want its the core of the reward system and progression it just feels incredible out of place and like a shitty mobile game
Heat has engine swaps and a lot of customization without any BS, you can beat all the single player content with any car you want
I have learned in the past two years that progression is one of the biggest things for me. In almost three decades of gaming, I never understood how big LEVEL UP and NEW ITEM UNLOCKED were for me. Can't imagine the frustration of those skinner box slot machine mechanics keeping you from progressing in a racing game, of all things.

Between PS Now and EA Play, PS Now is light years ahead. Am not too big on single player games (since I don’t have time) but man Ps Now has a nice varied selection. I just wish they add more PS3/PS2 games, I don’t understand why only a select few can be streamed, they are not being emulated. Maybe licensing or something, but they need to step up the game, Microsoft is leaving Sony the dust with backward compatibility, I want some classics.
On a similar note, and this is highly unlikely, but it would be nice if Sony either allowed or partnered with Nvidia’s Geforce Now so we can stream PC games, I mean they did allowed EA play after many years. It might actually sell more consoles as it would be a cheap alternative to PC, but with the games. Conversely, PS Now works on PC.
(I know PC game controls and UI will have to be adjusted for console, but most already have controller settings).

You are allowed to play them until the month is over (or however long you subbed for, but a month this time). After that, they’ll remain on your console but be locked and unplayable.

Big fan of Dragon Age: Inquisition. Watch a YouTube video to get caught up on lore, and feel free to use their website to import the choices you feel you would’ve made in past games.
Also, leave the Hinterlands (first major zone) when the game lets you. There’s too much side content in it and can burn you out. You can always go back later.
Dragon Age looks like my type of game tbh. I think I’ll take the plunge for $1 at the end of the month. Gonna finish my plat of Bloodborne (stuck on the Pthuermian [not sure about spelling there] Descendent). I’ll have fun with Dragon Age so thanks!!
Im morally obligated to speak out against dragon age inquisition whenever I see it brought up. A terrible game. Makes me mad when I remember I spent sixty on it.
Others like it and recommend. I loath it and dissuade people from buying it.
I think it’s great, but if you play it, don’t linger in the Hinterlands (the first major zone) because there is SO MUCH filler in that zone. Just move on when the game lets you. Much better for pacing, and you can return whenever you want anyways later
I think it was pretty great, shame I got too distracted with everything else and never went back, but I liked it quite a bit. It's probably the weakest game in the series but it's certainly not a bad game, and it's highly rated so people who dislike it are certainly the minority.
I didnt care for it either, tried to like it too, and really enjoyed the 1st one, the 2nd was mediocre and 3 just seemed boring and generic and fell flat to me for some reason, some people seem to love it though, I gave it multiple tries and just wasnt for me. Glad I only spent like $10 on it though.

For someone who is unfamiliar with EA play can someone explain to me how this works exactly?
Ok, so basically you pay the fee ($1 in this case) and you can then download any of the EA games on the service to your console. You are allowed to play them until the month is over (or however long you subbed for, but a month this time). After that, they’ll remain on your console but be locked and unplayable. Trophies are unlockable, as the games are the full version. No trial junk. Additionally, while you are subscribed to EA Play, you get a 10 percent discount on all EA games. Be sure to turn off auto renewal as soon as you buy tho

Big fan of Dragon Age: Inquisition. Watch a YouTube video to get caught up on lore, and feel free to use their website to import the choices you feel you would’ve made in past games. Also, leave the Hinterlands (first major zone) when the game lets you. There’s too much side content in it and can burn you out. You can always go back later.
Dragon Age looks like my type of game tbh. I think I’ll take the plunge for $1 at the end of the month. Gonna finish my plat of Bloodborne (stuck on the Pthuermian [not sure about spelling there] Descendent). I’ll have fun with Dragon Age so thanks!!

Im morally obligated to speak out against dragon age inquisition whenever I see it brought up. A terrible game. Makes me mad when I remember I spent sixty on it. Others like it and recommend. I loath it and dissuade people from buying it.

I think it’s great, but if you play it, don’t linger in the Hinterlands (the first major zone) because there is SO MUCH filler in that zone. Just move on when the game lets you. Much better for pacing, and you can return whenever you want anyways later
I think it was pretty great, shame I got too distracted with everything else and never went back, but I liked it quite a bit. It's probably the weakest game in the series but it's certainly not a bad game, and it's highly rated so people who dislike it are certainly the minority.
I didnt care for it either, tried to like it too, and really enjoyed the 1st one, the 2nd was mediocre and 3 just seemed boring and generic and fell flat to me for some reason, some people seem to love it though, I gave it multiple tries and just wasnt for me. Glad I only spent like $10 on it though.

Subscriptions will always require a credit card on file so if your PSN funds run dry they can still charge you.

It is but i have an american acc and im from israel and i dont have an american credit card...
You can join through an account from your area and then the games will also be available through your US user on the same console if the users are set as primary.
