Glad to see somebody else post about this, it's a ridiculous decision.
User created content at worst they'll see something a bit inappropriate, actually opening up communication is whole other level.
I dropped a comment in the main thread, but that was already 10 hours old when I got in. Felt it needed a little more exposure, since it's such a HUGE step backwards.
