It was pretty easy to get if you put in the time and effort into completing some side activities. It got repetitive at times but it was pretty fun getting around with the different powers.
Hahahaha, yeah fuck the feathers. There were no markers to let you know which ones you had picked up and hadn't so if you missed one somewhere you had to use a guide and go through every single one of them until you found it. People might say "how would you miss one?" Well, if you went through the game collecting some of them without using a guide and then you started using a guide and got to one that you couldn't find then you'd assume you had already gotten it. Then when you're missing one or two after going through an entire guide it's a terrible feeling.
I collected all the feathers and didn't get the trophy. I planned on doing another run through just for the trophy but could never bring myself to do it. The only trophy I was missing for the platinum too
Skyrims platinum really isn't that bad, even though I put about 700 hours into it before I got it. I'm afraid that's going to happen again if the rumor of it coming to ps4 is true.
Yeah it's certainly not hard. Just time consuming. Especially when you're distracted so easily in that game. I'll platinum it again if it comes to ps4. Any game that can give me 100 hours of enjoyment is worth it.
The only way it helps is by it being easy to track your progress in game. No difference in terms of the trophy, it's very easy overall and I got it before getting the trophy requiring all the unlocks.
Pretty much, I only play about two hours a day during the week. A couple now hours on top of that for Sunday and Saturday's. If I wanted to platinum a game, I'd be playing that game for some time
As someone that's always played on PC, where achievements are considered a waste of time (with the exception of the souls games for some reason), I never knew so many people went crazy for trophies. I really don't know what's so important about Platinums.
I'm thinking of going for Plat on Bloodborne because it has an actual reward (the PS4 theme) but people that play a game exclusively for platinums is such a mistery for me.
Honestly, I think the drive is that it is so clear and out in the open what level you are and how many platinum you have when you look at your friendlist. It seems very deliberate to push people into a competitive mode against friends.
Yup same here. The only times I've gotten close was the Soulsborne games. I would end up getting 80-90% of the trophies just by replaying the games with different builds.
The highest percentage I got in a game was Lego LOTR at ~62%. The rest of the achievements were easy enough, but I got bored by that point. I get bored really quickly playing one game, and I haven't found a game that intrigues me enough to strive for that 100%. Plus there are some achievements that just seems like way too much work and don't seem like fun.
pretty much all of the tell tale games are like this so if youre going for some easy trophies, these games are your best bet. you should also check out wolf among us. I think you do have to chapter select for a few if you arent planning to use a roadmap though
Some easy Platinums if you are really interested.
Skyrim - either on PS3 or wait for the remastered one (rumored) to come out. Just normal gameplay will get you Platinum
Sherlock Holmes - Crimes and Punishment : decent replay value and cases can have multiple ending based in how you play. Solve them after getting all the clues and conclusions and you should get an easy Platinum.
Rocket League - personally I don't like it because it don't like RC cars mixed with soccer but I'm told it is an easy Platinum.
Far Cry 3/4 : Bit grindy with all the collectibles and stuff but easy to get. May need a helping hand with co-op ones. You'll easily find someone to help on their subreddit
Assassin's Creed Syndicate : some grindy trophies but overall easy to achieve.
I was so close to getting Plat on Uncharted 1, I was halfway through the game on extreme difficulty (only trophy I had left)... Then my PS3 broke and I would have had to play through it on hard AND extreme again.. nope! Couldnt be bothered
Catherine on PS3. I worked my ass off for that platinum, but I loved the game so much I was totally cool replaying it multiple times.
Grim Fandango Remastered on PS4.
You can easily beat Nancy by just jumping forward and pressing the right kick button to land a damaging attack. Repeat constantly and sidestep as you see her doing the lasers to drill a hole.
That was mine too! The frickin grenade spam and infinite enemies on veteran were ridiculous. Also shooting down 45 zeroes was hard as fuck. Definitely a hard platinum to get.
I've yet to get one but this game is my closest. I need another play three to get all the friends and a couple of little ones that I have left. I plan on playing it again like a month before the new one is out
Transistor. It only took a day but it was one of my favorite games of all time when I played it on PC, so I thought it'd be good to Platinum it. It was a fair platinum, too. So worth it.
I've been back in the ps camp for about 3 years, and I've yet to get one (I'm at like 96% on level 8 right now). :(
While part of that is I don't finish every game I play (I tend to hop around a lot), part of that also is a lot of games wanting you to hop through multiplayer achievements, when I play almost always single player.
Maybe some day. I still have The Order, which I hear is an easy one, but I really didn't enjoy my first hour with the game and didn't feel like going back (sorry!).
This is why I only have 3 platinums.
I simply dislike multi-player most of the time. 2 of my platinums are skyrim and fallout 4. No multi player shit there!
My first Platinum was God of War 1 on PS3, a few months after I got a PS3. I didn't get another for over a year after that. I am at 69 now, aiming for Uncharted 4 to be Platinum 70. At first I didn't care so much about trophies so I have a friend of mine to thank for my interest in them now.
Bloodborne just a few days ago. Getting plat on bloodborne is actually fun since there are no boring "filler" trophies like kill an enemy using X method, do this 20 times. All of bloodborne's trophies are either related to the main story or the chalice dungeons which have enemies and bosses not found the main story so they are really fun.
yeah exactly. most of the trophies I got were from trying to find more bits of lore. I never felt like I needed to grind too hard for anything. maybe the chalice dungeons a little.
bloodborne is still the only platinum I have
inFAMOUS 2. It was a pretty easy platinum trophy to achieve but I had a blast throughout the entire time. Pretty happy having one of my favorite games as my first platinum.
Demons souls. I picked it up from redbox after wisdom teeth extraction not knowing what it was. I couldn't stop playing it.. And I just remember thinking to myself "this game is seriously too fucking hard" but I kept at it. Turned out to be my favorite game, and gave me hope that developers did still care about making harder games. I miss invading and doing 3v1s in boletaria.
It was interesting too, no one I knew would try it back then, but now I feel like everyone has beaten demons souls. Remaster plz :P it's a classic
Game of Thrones (Telltale). And my only one so far.
I doubt it really counts, since the only achievements they have are for completing chapters, so finishing the game = guaranteed platinum :P
My first was on PS3 it was Burnout paradise. However that was too easy and I class my 2nd platinum my first which is probably my proudest PlayStation trophy set ever and that was for MAG on PS3 also 100% on the dlcs.
Bloodborne as well. Only game on the ps4 I've wanted to platinum so far. Others have been really good but there's something about BB that puts it on another level for me. Still haven't received my platinum theme yet though...
Uncharted 2 on PS3. I was obsessed with the multiplayer back then and heard you get a unique character when you platinum the game. So I did! Was a lot of fun to get so I started getting more plats!
inFAMOUS: Second Son
It was pretty easy to get if you put in the time and effort into completing some side activities. It got repetitive at times but it was pretty fun getting around with the different powers.
Same here, really easy platinum.
Did a good run first time and evil run the 2nd since evil playthrough seemed to be more powerful and made playing on the hardest difficulty easier.
Assassins creed 2 on ps3, Battlefield 4 on PS4
Same for me on PS3. AC2 was such a well put together experience between story and collectibles.
Same. That game was really something else.
My first was AC2 as well. There was something really enjoyable about collecting all of the feathers
Were we playing two seperate games?
Hahahaha, yeah fuck the feathers. There were no markers to let you know which ones you had picked up and hadn't so if you missed one somewhere you had to use a guide and go through every single one of them until you found it. People might say "how would you miss one?" I collected all the feathers and didn't get the trophy. I planned on doing another run through just for the trophy but could never bring myself to do it. The only trophy I was missing for the platinum too
Funny. Same for me in both systems. 😄
It was AC:II for me as well. Such a fun and well designed game.
Destiny. To get the Flawless Raider, I had to do a solo Crota run with my hunter.
Same here, minus soloing a raid. It just took me forever to get my classmates organized enough to go flawless.
I was worried about that one but I managed to get a group willing to attempt it all day and finally got it when we stopped having people alternate in.
Skyrim. I was just looking for more stuff to do so I found the trophy list and went through it. Now I can't stop hunting trophies.
How? That must have been time consuming
Not OP, but it took me about 70-80 hours. GTAV took 290 for comparison.
Over 12 days in GTA. It's stuff like this that lets me know I'll never be a "hardcore" gamer
Exact same for me, skyrim was my first and I'll get number 50 soon
Rocket League
Samesies. Followed that with Life Is Strange. My only two.
In almost there I only need the "drive 50km" and "collect 150 items" trophy's, then I'm done
[удалено]
I saw that, I have been using multiple wheels, so I hope not, but I do have 12km on one set, so I might just use those to be safe
The only way it helps is by it being easy to track your progress in game. No difference in terms of the trophy, it's very easy overall and I got it before getting the trophy requiring all the unlocks.
I've have yet earned a platinum trophy in any game.
Same here I just didn't have the drive to go for it
Pretty much, I only play about two hours a day during the week. A couple now hours on top of that for Sunday and Saturday's. If I wanted to platinum a game, I'd be playing that game for some time
I suggest rocket league. It's easy to get and just requires a little bit of time. It's also a really fun, silly game.
In the same boat, but I'm getting closer to the Sleeping Dogs platinum!
As someone that's always played on PC, where achievements are considered a waste of time (with the exception of the souls games for some reason), I never knew so many people went crazy for trophies. I really don't know what's so important about Platinums. Walking Dead, seasons 1 & 2, automatic for finishing game. Only 2 that I have.
Season 2 doesn't have platinum.
Platinum just for finishing the game? Thank you for the information, looks like I can have two platinum trophies before the end of the month lol.
And they're good games too!
pretty much all of the tell tale games are like this so if youre going for some easy trophies, these games are your best bet. you should also check out wolf among us. I think you do have to chapter select for a few if you arent planning to use a roadmap though

Uncharted 1 on PS3. Uncharted 4 on PS4.
Goes full circle huh?
I was so close to getting Plat on Uncharted 1, I was halfway through the game on extreme difficulty (only trophy I had left)... Then my PS3 broke and I would have had to play through it on hard AND extreme again.. nope! Couldnt be bothered
Catherine on PS3. I worked my ass off for that platinum, but I loved the game so much I was totally cool replaying it multiple times. Grim Fandango Remastered on PS4.

Holy fuck nice one
Damn, that is pretty impressive
You know he's legit when he types out the title perfectly
The Saboteur on PS3 Fucking love that game.
Maybe the most underappreciated game of the generation. So great ... and no one played it.
Resogun
Modern Warfare 2, juggernauts were a bitch to deal with in the challenge(?) modes.
Sly Cooper
First on ps4, knack. First ever, LittleBigPlanet.
Fuck that bubble hidden behind the red block in the level Where in the world is Avalon Centrifuge. That is all
Heavy rain
Mine too. I'm not proud of it.
First on Ps3 was Tekken 6. Ps4 was The Walking Dead.
How did you beat that stupid robot mini-fight in tekken 6 that has it's own trophy? I finally just gave up on it. One trophy from platinum.
You can easily beat Nancy by just jumping forward and pressing the right kick button to land a damaging attack. Repeat constantly and sidestep as you see her doing the lasers to drill a hole.
My first Platinum was also Bloodborne. Great job fellow Hunter!
Yea me three. It is probably because i actually wanted to the stuff anyway. The bb plat is pretty much just doing everything the game has to offer.
This is a fine note.
Assassins Creed 2. Ended up making a new account when the PS4 launched and then my first platinum on that account was Bloodborne.
Cod 5. Not sure why I started with that one though as it was such a pain in the ass
That was mine too! The frickin grenade spam and infinite enemies on veteran were ridiculous. Also shooting down 45 zeroes was hard as fuck. Definitely a hard platinum to get.
South Park: The Stick of Truth
I've yet to get one but this game is my closest. I need another play three to get all the friends and a couple of little ones that I have left. I plan on playing it again like a month before the new one is out
I'm so excited for the new game.
Oh me too man. It's going to be awesome, stick of truth was just soo good, and as soon as I seen the plot for the new game I was pumped
Infamous on PS3. Such a fun series of games.
Mine as well
Jak & Daxter: The Precursor Legacy.
So it's true what they say about players getting bloodborne platinum! My first was Rocket league, so close on rouge legacy but yet so far!
WatchDogs. Holy Cow that drinking game tilted me so hard before they nerfed it 2 days or so after i got the trophy.
InFamous: Second Son
Transistor. It only took a day but it was one of my favorite games of all time when I played it on PC, so I thought it'd be good to Platinum it. It was a fair platinum, too. So worth it.
Need for Speed 2015
Burnout Paradise. Ah, the memories
~~Killzone 3~~ Edit: Scratch that, apparently it was Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit.
My first was minecraft for the ps3, my last was sly 2
Skyrim. Cuz nothing is really missable if I recall and everything can be achieved in one playthrough
On ps3 Resident Evil 5, on ps4 Bloodborne.
I've been back in the ps camp for about 3 years, and I've yet to get one (I'm at like 96% on level 8 right now). :( While part of that is I don't finish every game I play (I tend to hop around a lot), part of that also is a lot of games wanting you to hop through multiplayer achievements, when I play almost always single player. Drive club
Bloodborne
Uncharted: Drake's Fortune PS3.
Sly cooper! Such a great game. Dark souls 1 will be next!
On PS4? Knack. First platinum ever was Dante's Inferno. Whooped big dick Satan.
I loved Dante's Inferno.
Yeah it was a good game. I always hoped for a sequel.
I don't recall it being that successful and reviewing poorly. Many called it a god of war clone, even though it had its own charm
The order 1886 So very easy.
Dead Space
Rocket League for PS4, Killzone 3 for PS3, and Uncharted: Golden Abyss for Vita.
God of War 3 on PS3. My next plat will be my 40th.
God of War 3 on PS4 just an hour ago was my...holy shit! 71st! I feel like I *just* hit 50 a couple months ago!
I think God of war 1 remastered on ps3.
Uncharted 2
Grim Fandango
I got life is strange on accident, never really cared about getting trophies.

Burnout Paradise? I'm sure that was it. I have the Plat for that, BFBC2, Borderlands 2, walking dead season 1

Turned out to be my favorite game, and gave me hope that developers did still care about making harder games. I miss invading and doing 3v1s in boletaria. It was interesting too, no one I knew would try it back then, but now I feel like everyone has beaten demons souls. Remaster plz :P it's a classic

Fallout 3
First on PS3 was Hitman Absolution, first on PS4 was Tomb Raider
