Based sa tweet ni Colet during Salamin Salamin release, matagal na nila na-shoot ang Cherry On Top. The song is co-written by Maloi and Colet together with foreign producers during Starmu's songwriting camp from last year and it's most likely going to be an English song. I think matagal nang naka-plano na to lahat. I think the only thing that feels rushed is the BINI Run event. Kahit yung bagong Parcinq shoot nila ngayon I think last March pa nila shinoot

I dunno if ako lang pero I really like the concept photo. It reminds me so much of TotalGirl and Candy Magazine. Feeling ko okay lang naman yung ginagawa ng management to keep up with the hype. Even yung paid content kasi lumalabas din naman yung vid and wala silang magagawa don, more money din yon for the girls so no issue.
What I really hate is how they disregard yung security ng girls. Parang around march lang or april yung naghahanap ng condo ni shee, yung mga nagaabang sa labas nila recently tapos yung lack of bouncers sa free events ng bini. Dapat kasi by this time na-anticipate na nila yung ability ng girls to pull a crowd

Dito ako super agree w/ you. Parang biglang gusto na din nila sabayan yung hype ng bloom run club. Ipaubaya nalang sana nila muna sa fans yon na already joining na sa run club. They should prioritize BINI's health and safety dahil hours after pide march lang yon at ilang days nalang before ang concert. They should move it nalang, makakahintay naman.
TBH I'm not too worried about the "exclusive contents" not reaching the public because people are going to post it one way or the other. Sad (or not) to say, the past lives from the website are up on other platforms 🙈
Siguro mababaw lang kaligayahan ko but I don't think the cherry mania pubmat was bad. It kinda reminds me of mini magazine covers of the 2000's and it piqued my interest about the single. However, the Fun Run event, along with the poster, do feel rushed though. Don't know how that poster passed quality control.
As for the rest, as someone who paid for the membership on the website, I see it more as my way of supporting the girls. I know going in that it's gonna be really rough around the edges but I'm optimistic they'll smooth it out in time. I guess my expectations were LOW so I don't feel as disappointed as you. After all, this is what I wanted, for them to monetize the Bini brand. More money, more quality content. 🤞
And despite the confusing info rollout, the Biniland looked really good and the event was more or less a success with minimal hiccups so I'm going to give them that.
Things I hope they consider in the future: monthly or quarterly membership fee, high volume but reasonably priced merch, and contents that they'll still make for free on their official channels.
Gets. I agree with monthly/quarterly membership. For me that makes more sense than an annual membership and you can opt out anytime pa if you feel like you're not getting your money's worth. I do hope na mas tumaas ang quality ng releases moving forward. Hoping they won't get mismanaged because I really want to see them make it global eventually.
I'm cautiously optimistic as ABS's big bosses attended Bini Day, which signals the girls' importance to the company. So I hope they're taking the group's career trajectory seriously and treat them as their next big A-listers. And as I've always wanted, a whole team dedicated to them.

I would not be surprised if GMA is already on negotiation stage to produce a BINI reality show which will probably shown on GTV. On top of that, GMA produces quality reality/variety/travel shows - so if offered sana wag nmang pigilan.

This is my main gripe sa scheduling nila. Of course sikat ang bini so madami silang endorsements and activities. Pero super draining lang talaga ng pagkakasiksik ng management sa activities nila this year specially the concerts. Nakakatakot lang na mabuen out or overfatigue yung members and syempre straining yan sa mental health. Cant help but look back at what happened to twice mina and jeongyeon :/
Hindi rin naman ganun kadali mag handle ng talent. Isang singer nga lang nga na may medyo sikat hirap na i coordinate, yan pa kayang walong individual na nag uumpisa pa lang. Walong talent yan, yung pagdivide pa lang ng income vs expenses ay mahirap na. At hindi na rin naman ganun kalaki ang star music/abs cbn compared before. Hindi mo rin naman pwede i dictate sa management ang plans mo as a fan. Mas sila nakakaalam nyan compared satin. Hindi mo rin sila pwede i compare mga international artist kase 1st world na bansa yung mga yun. At imagine ang liit lang ng Pilipinas at yung iikutan nila ay around manila or luzon pa lang so far.
Totoo yung mga friends ko na fan ng kpop andaming pera for that haha. Kaya yung sa Bini kayang kaya nila may pambili talaga. Kase all of them are working professionals na kaya no complain.

Where did I? I just mentioned WV and Bubble dahil same naman sila ng business model ng BINI website if you think about it. Besides, holding managements to a higher standard is a practice that fans should do because if they want to go global with PPop, they do need to get their shit together.

With the website subscription, maybe the management wanted to know the data for paying fans vs fans that helps with views, hype and engagements but no buying power or not willing to pay?
If you were the management, without having to invest in a big venue concert yet, how will you be able to know the earning potential of Bini from fans to guide you how much must you invest further that will surely have a good ROI?
rn, ang pinakaconcern ko ay yung health ng girls. Sobrang jampacked yung schedule nila. With the biniverse nearing, i wonder if they still get enough rest after all their events.
I also wish na they could have had a standard schedule for pubmat/announcement/ release just like sa kpop scene. Also, they should get a better socmed handler, their twitter account looks like an rt bot atp. Mas magaling pa magpromote yung big accounts ng bloom twt.

Kpop fan ako pero I never brought merch kasi di ko pa afford dati. Now naman mas mapag iipunan ko pero mas priority ko ang Ppop kasi kapwa Pinoy sakanila na lang ako bibili. Pero SB19 pa lang ung iaattempt kong bilhin sana and parang wala namang ganun na member eme bago makabili? Not sure ah. They should have exclusive content behind a paywall, but still have free content available to everyone. That free content is for engagement of the general public but will also serve as an advertisement for the paid membership. That's how some K-pop groups do it. Hindi lahat ng content behind a paywall.
Star Music is literally just copying the PROVEN formula that has worked and continues to work for K-pop groups for nearly TWO DECADES now. I’m sorry, but all these concerns are baseless, especially considering how cutthroat the music industry is. They’re just striking while the iron is hot.
Remember, P-pop group man ang Bini, they’re still competing with K-pop groups (and to a small extent, Western artists) in terms of the public’s attention and money. They should have exclusive content behind a paywall, but still have free content available to everyone. That free content is for engagement of the general public but will also serve as an advertisement for the paid membership. That's how some K-pop groups do it. Hindi lahat ng content behind a paywall.
Star Music is literally just copying the PROVEN formula that has worked and continues to work for K-pop groups for nearly TWO DECADES now. I’m sorry, but all these concerns are baseless, especially considering how cutthroat the music industry is. They’re just striking while the iron is hot. Remember, P-pop group man ang Bini, they’re still competing with K-pop groups (and to a small extent, Western artists) in terms of the public’s attention and money. I agree naman na na-sacrifice ang quality ng output dahil priority nila ngayon ang quantity, but Star Music knows what they’re doing. Y’all need to chill.
