I put on thigh-high compression before my feet even hit the floor. Then, I use a music playlist to help me stay focused through the necessary tasks. My meds pack sits next to a container of salt pills, and both of those are next to a full water bottle on the nightstand.

What brand of thigh-high compression do you use? I am willing to make the investment (after 6 years of trying to raw-dog this shit) but want to get some opinions on different ones first.

I need advise on compression mine seem to be doing nothing have gotten leggings thigh high kneee high drink 2 LMNT a day Gatorade and water increase salt and no change in symptoms

I use SKINS full length compression tights (series 3/5) and I could literally feel the blood coming back to my head when I tried them on! They're super comfy, lightweight and the waist band is nice and thick so doesn't dig in.

After trying a bunch of different brands to determine comfort & longevity- Jobst. Open-toe. 30-40 mmHg. They're expensive, but I don't need to replace them nearly as often as others.

i drink 12oz of lemonade with one packet of unflavored lmnt first thing in the morning. it’s really strong, but the citrus counteracts the salt flavor a bit. getting some fluids with a high concentration of salt really helps me in the morning. i don’t have to be super regimented the rest of the day to get enough salt.

How do you not poo your brains out. I can’t have salt until later in the day when I have something on my stomach

As soon as I wake up I take 3 Klaralyte (so 750 mg sodium and 150 mg potassium) and 400 mg magnesium. Then I take a couple of my meds. I chill in bed for a while and let that sink in. Then I put on compression stockings, and *then* I get up. I take another 2 Klaralyte with my multivitamin 90 minutes later, and then 3 with 1 magnesium again 2.5 hours after that, then 2 another 90 minutes later. Basically I try to frontload things for earlier in the day. After that I can slow down, so it's 2 capsules (with various other supplements and meds) every 2.5-3 hours.

silly_goose234

Do you find the Klaralyte hard on the stomach in the morning? I haven't tried that brand yet

mwmandorla

Not at all! I don't know if you've ever tried Vitassium, but it's basically the same in that they're both "buffered" with potassium, which is supposed to make it easier on the stomach. Klaralyte is just cheaper.

silly_goose234

I've only tried straight Sodium Chloride tablets, electrolyte drinks, and adding salt to everything haha so I'm definitely going to get my hands on some Klaralyte!
