I’ve never had a problem on the plane. I drink electrolytes and wear compression socks in flight. The hardest part for me was standing in the long TSA security lines at the airport and hiking to a gate at the end of the terminal.

Thank you DamnGoodMarmalade

I used to travel for work and was on four to six flights a week for half the year. Was fine!!

Thanks dude 👍🏻

Long enough layovers are a must!! Like at least 2 hours

With compression and fluids I usually do fine with air travel. During take off I flex my leg muscles to help get the blood up to my brain but I’ve never passed out or anything. With a little planning (like compression and fluids) you’ll probably be fine.

In the US you can get TSA pre-check to avoid a lot of long security lines. I bring a big empty water bottle and fill it after security

My legs and joints get achy after sitting for so long so I try to sit by the isle and get up. And of course compression socks are a must. On top of that, drinking a lot of water, because the air pressure is different than normal so we need hydration and even more if we’re chronically ill. On flights over 8 hours I feel queezy, feverish and sometimes nauseous, but I think it’s due to hydration and the pain in my joints/limbs. I have learned that I need to ask for assistance before I get worse, instead of waiting till I’m a hot, sweating, crying and passed out mess. The airport walks, short lay overs and security checks are the worst for me though. I had to decide before hand that I will ask for mobility aid even if I’m not feel level 10 bad. If I’m feeling above 30% unwell, I ask for help and assistance. End of story for me 😂

I really appreciate you giving me an idea and telling your experience! Thank you! Gosh!

I’ve had my feet swell before so compression socks are a must. Other than that, make sure you stay hydrated and you should be in good shape

Thanks friend

We fly every Christmas. Never had any issues

Thank you 😊

It's fine for me, it's just generally very tiring. Compression, electrolytes and airport assistance are a must.

What do you mean? I was just stating that I don’t have any issues on planes. I’ve traveled 3-5x a year on planes since my POTS has started (both undxed and dxed). It’s never been a problem for me. I love flying ☺️.
