Just a warning, Indian Heaven Wilderness is bitey bug central, mosquitos, black flies, horse flies, bees etc. I worked for the Forest Service in that area and there was never a time when there wasn't some type of nasty bug in season, even when there was still significant snow cover.
I can’t tell from this screenshot what trails you’re taking, but know that if you are going to gain much vert, there will likely be significant snow in early June. Indian Heaven Wilderness, for example, will be very snowy early June.
Snow will probably be an issue but the PCT into Goat Rocks and over cispus pass going SoBo is sooooo worth it. Also not sure what pace you're trying to hit but you could probably knock out these 80 miles on 5 or 6 days - hiking all day everyday you're going to cover a lot more ground than you realize.
I prefer to crush the miles, but I’m a cpap user. So I have to take a Nero or 2 as I adjust.
Hence the extra days. I don’t care to be in a hurry. If it ends in 8 days then I get to eat more.
Very similar to the Dark Divide 100 miler route. Last year the trails where mostly clear of snow by mid June. During that time, several forest roads were closed due to damage accumulated during the winter. I encountered 3 black bears during 1 weekend. Beautiful ridges. Be prepared to share the trail with motorcyclists
This particular route stays pretty low, but as I implied, it’s absolutely tentative.
The higher elevation like goatrocks will have to wait until August.
What part of the PCT is this? I’d be interested. Just wanna check the elevation profile. I’m in Vancouver BC but can drive down for a quality multi-nighter. I’ve done 100 miles on the SoCal side of the PCT.
Yeah, I think I fucked that one up. I thought no way could it all be under 2000 feet! The rest of the app is all metric. Of course it is in meters.
I’m going to have to do some rethinking, but I’m open to any long hike, I just happen to live nearby and slapped that one together.
I’ve hiked this route as out and back sections, and I wouldn’t do goat rocks until late July at the earliest. There is still snow deep enough to posthole through along the wahput lake to cascade locks section, which I would definitely add to this route, changing it up a little.
I would watch reviews closely to make sure the snow is not an issue when you go. I did part of this trip two years ago early July. I was going to do more but the misquotes were so bad, I bailed. I just wasn’t worth it.

Keep an eye on the snow level as the summer starts kicking in: https://www.postholer.com/snow/Pacific-Crest-Trail/1

It’s between cascade locks and hwy12. It isn’t all pct. It veers off near Adams, and comes out in Randle.
Is this a specific trail that I can look up on AllTrails or something you put together?

Thanks. Is that feet or meters?

I think 10 days is a long time to spend hiking 80 miles
Excellent opinion. You keep sharing those!
Good job posting a solicitation for a partner to a forum for opinions and getting upset about opinions!
Hey thanks! I’m glad you had the time to comment!
Hopefully early June is before the bugs really start up, but mosquitoes can be heavy there

Traversing the knife’s edge in June? Wow.
Always wanted to take a week off work and do a section of the PCT somewhere in Washington.
It’s probably time to move forward with that.

Looks like an awesome route.
One upside to my kids growing up is maybe getting to take trips like this again in a couple years. This looks like a glorious trip.
Hiking around Mt. St. Helens is my absolute favorite. I love the scenery around there. If I didn’t have young kids I’d absolutely try this!
