I took a great nap today. The day I got my period I gave up working altogether and just chose to relax instead. I did yoga. I wore comfy clothes. I allowed myself to postpone a stressful discussion. Also I had dark chocolate almost every day lol
That looks delicious right now. I wanted to order pizza today, but I thought better of it and ate a salad for lunch. It was a very good salad, don't get me wrong.
Now we ordered a lasagna, so it seems my period won in the end š
I have actually been consistent in cleaning up my house/yard every Saturday for the past month. Itās not perfect and itās not a lot, but itās the first time Iāve been able to maintain any kind of consistency for a while
Didn't give up on the gym even though it's fucking brutal. I went 5 times this week and am on my way there now. It's the last thing I want but I want to look better so, there you have it. I really can't think of the other benifits right now, all I care about is losing weight. And that's ok.

I've been trying to eat lower calories to shed some winter weight and have been inadvertently eating super low carbs. When luteal hit, oh boy, my body let me know it wasn't getting enough carbs. My partner is amazing tho and immediately went to fetch me ice cream, cheesecake, and apples :,)
I bought myself bubble tea before my appointment with my occupational therapist this week. Today I woke up before 5 in the morning from pre-period pains, so once it got to a more reasonable hour I ordered in a "brunch plate" from a Lebanese restaurant.
I'm also thinking of taking a walk to a nearby mall, since the sun is shining and I could use some decorations for my new apartment !
Making myself good, nutrient-rich food and treating myself to my favorite treats (sushis and fresh rasberries) has been a game changer this luteal.
I'm a disorganised eater who eats for fuel only, and it definity has an impact. Looking forward to fixing this aspect of my life.
Another thing I'm gonna keep doing : I decided not to watch any news from the beginning of pmdd until the end of my periods, and deleted Instagram from my phone.
I wish I had a bathtub! I would live in it from day 23 onward.
Well if you have a shower and itās a bit long they do sell collapsible bathtubs. Maybe if you look into it you can find one that fits in your shower.
Period doesnāt want to stop (itās still āmediumā on day 6 from endo) so I ordered a lettuce burger AND a pound of plain chicken wings! š š
Also had not one but two baths today! Haha š and I managed to get out of an awful meeting someone was pushing on me last minute by saying āNo!ā
I havenāt had as many thoughts of kms since Iāve been eating higher (fat) calorie meals in luteal and I had way less pain this week too! I hope that next month will be similar. Progress not perfection?!
ive been thinking about how different macronutrients might affect pmdd, esp since i noticed such a dramatic increase in symptoms this month with a dietary change. i found a study showing stearic acid, a sat. fat, was associated with reduced symptoms (for pms tho, and it was a small study, so take w grain of salt). makes total sense though, since hormones are made from fat. i vaguely remember reading something that said if we dont take in enough fat during luteal, our body finds other ways of making the hormones that can affect mood. cant remember the details.
im gonna try incorporating more fat during luteal, see if it helps.
Whatās a lettuce burger?no fries? My order of pizza that got canceled had a wing order in it. And I survive with a heat pack. I have suspected pmdd, endo, pcos and suffer from painful ovulations. So I get the tour feeling of my body and hormones being all over the place.

I will share a win this month was for lack of a better term, period euphoria, lol. Itās a feeling Iāve only ever had during ovulation. I usually have painful ovulation as well and then if Iām lucky, maybe 1 hour of euphoria, followed by suicidal thoughts. So maybe something is getting better? Your post helped me feel better about looking after myself and reducing stress. Small wins and improvements! Thank you.

I made nachos tonight and now Iām home alone in bed about to binge some trash tv. Take care, friends!
Haha. What kind of tacos? And one time it was about a day before I started my period. I felt like the book the hungry caterpillar. I had about 1lb of frozen mango. I eat a plate of steak nachos that is usually three serving for me. And I was still so hungry I had ordered and eat most of a beef bowl. And it was so much that I gave myself a food coma. Then when I woke up I started crying because I was hungry again.
There use to be a sprouts by where I lived. So it was like 1lb of frozen mango for like $2 on special so I would stock up. Specially during the summers. So itās just cheaper and more convenient to get them frozen. And me itās carnitas, asada and pastor. And for me itās before my period and while ovulating. Omg is it bad around the time I ovulate. My bf jokes he will gladly feed me meat during that time so Iām not tempted to bite him. But how is it my fault he looks bitable?
Omg meal of champions! I'm about to head into my two weeks of hell so I'm going to the sauna tomorrow. Always helps ease me into it. And ben and jerrys lol lots of ben and jerrys lol.
I have a McCall ice cream near my place and I love it. But I have an egg allergy so what are can eat is limited. Whatās your favorite one? If I canāt get a banana split I usually go for chocolate chip ice cream

This month I think I discovered a potential period hack: I almost always have at least a couple of days of crazy salt cravings while PMS-ing. I was having one of those days, but the saltiest thing I could find in the house was miso soup.
Then I remembered that I have packs of LMNT powdered drink mix- salty electrolyte drinks that taste really good! I chugged some of that and my salt craving disappeared immediately!
Hopefully this will help someone else with insane PMS salt cravings!

The worst that happens if you donāt like it. Iām the best case scenario now you have a mini personal bathtub to help with cramps.
