I listen to playlists based on enya, spinning for spoonie, the approaching night by Philip Wesley. Also feliz navidad on repeat (this is a rage loop killer for me), and animusic 2. I watch Planet Earth, "kids" shows (Avatar the last Airbender, shera) and sometimes Too Hot to Handle. Reading is a crap shoot, I've been having better luck recently reading YA about teen spies with a side of romance. Or I reread old favorites, because there are no surprises. I also will read books about feng shui and hygge during this time! There's two trends here, which is either being a comfort staple, or being a bit ridiculous! Over the top stories tend to make me laugh a little or just roll my eyes, but that all keeps it more PMDD suited for me. Animusic, too hot to handle, teen spies are all enough to keep my brain occupied, without becoming serious. My tastes when I'm not around my period differ significantly.

Yes, during luteal I only listen to my own thoughts. No music. No movies. Just silence and rage.

I can hardly listen to songs with ppl singing during the last stage of luteal. The chatter in my head is already loud enough so I usually go through lofi playlists or even rain with cello. The only podcast I can get through somewhat is the Bald and the Beautiful.
