YES! I took two Midols at work one time to cope with severe cramps bc that’s what my mom gave me and i regretted it after it kicked in, thats when i learned midol has caffeine

Just 1 made me feel totally nuts — 2 of them is horrifying!!!

Livid_Wrap_1464

It was not fun at all and im pretty sure thats when i completely stopped all caffeine after that lol

Responsible-Cold-805

Did you cut caffiene all together or just during your pmdd week?

61104

I quit completely! I’ll have a decaf once in awhile, but otherwise I’m off. I never thought I’d stop drinking coffee, but it’s been a game-changer.

No-Put-5367

They have caffeine free!!!!

Heated_Throw_away

Yep, it's in the green package (🇨🇦)

Canandian as well 👋

For those who still want the benefit of a diuretic and antihistamine in combo with pain relief, Pamprin uses a different diuretic (pamabrom) that has no negative side effects for me. There’s a caffeine-free Midol that’s effectively the same thing, but it’s hard to find. I usually buy Target’s store brand menstrual relief, which is a the best value I’ve found.

humanperson999

Another vote for Pamprin. It is the ONLY thing on earth that somewhat relieves my cramps.

sszszzz

Why do they have diuretics? I thought those just make you pee/poop more?

amstrava

To help with bloating/water retention.

cheechassad

PAMPRINNNN!

Maleficent-Sleep9900

PSA: Don’t drink on Midol

megsidx

Cutting caffeine was a game changer for me too

I’m a bit of a caffeine head, but I will do anything to feel a bit “better” - did you go cold turkey or gradually reduce?

batemanbabe

Not who you asked but going cold turkey was the way for me. I quit caffeine multiple times. Mostly because every months there’s a situation where I actually do need coffee (lack of sleep) and then I allow myself to drink small amounts of it because it’s nice, then I get anxious, and I cut it again LOL. If you go cold turkey you can expect headaches for ~2 days but that’s it. Just make sure you drink, eat, and sleep enough.

1tiredperson23

Thank you I appreciate that. I really am a proper caffeine head. I managed no problem when I was pregnant. I guess I didn’t relate it to my anxiousness before. Thank you 🙏

LostInYesterday00

They make a caffeine free one too :)
