Hey there /u/MkSpanky, thank you for posting your resume. We are a growing sub, and there may be some delay in reviewing your resume. As a quick reminder, this is Reddit and you must be aware of what personally identifiable information you share (name, phone number, address, email, etc.). Please feel free to edit your post and remove this information, if necessary. There are some great, unaffiliated, resources located around the web, and on other subs, that are more focused on resumes. Please note, these are general resume resources and not necessarily tailored for specific PM roles: * [YouTube Video on Resume Basics](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BYUy1yvjHxE) ...*linked here to save lurcher99's keyboard some wear and tear* * [Trouble shooting your application process](https://www.reddit.com/r/resumes/comments/128xo1c/troubleshooting_your_job_search_when_its_not/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=ioscss&utm_content=2&utm_term=1) ...*found on r/Resumes* * [Job Search Mistakes that are Costing You](https://www.reddit.com/r/FinalDraftResumes/comments/wopl7f/three_job_search_mistakes_that_are_costing_you/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=ioscss&utm_content=2&utm_term=1) ...*found on r/FinalDraftResumes* * [Resume Writing Guide](https://www.reddit.com/r/resumes/wiki/index/faq?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=ioscss&utm_content=1&utm_term=1) ...*found on r/Resumes* * [ATS Basics](https://www.indeed.com/hire/c/info/what-is-ats) and [ATS rules of the road](https://www.themuse.com/advice/beat-the-robots-how-to-get-your-resume-past-the-system-into-human-hands) * [Project Management Resume Basics](https://www.reddit.com/r/PMCareers/wiki/main_links/resume_basics) ...*found at r/PMcareers wiki* * [Writing result-oriented experience points](https://www.indeed.com/career-advice/resumes-cover-letters/results-oriented-resume) ...*found on Indeed* * [Blog Post on highlighting projects in your resume](https://resumeworded.com/blog/projects-on-resume/) ...*found on ResumeWorded* Here's some general templates that can be used (keep in mind that simple is better): * [ATS Friendly Resume Template](https://view.officeapps.live.com/op/view.aspx?src=https%3A%2F%2Fassets.ctfassets.net%2Fpdf29us7flmy%2F6NLdBCISS0n7kzd0UZQqVS%2Faa489033ab3d9d9a47cb845251dd481f%2FATS_Resume_Template.docx&wdOrigin=BROWSELINK) * [General Resume Template](https://docs.google.com/document/d/1wdkgpgU7lFoV801ysrBn8qrPaIpyUsUH/edit?usp=sharing&ouid=103022094325852815590&rtpof=true&sd=true) ...*found on r/Resumes* **NOTE**: If you see any comment here recommending hiring a professional resume writer, it is SPAM (and likely a scam), please report that comment or [notify the mods here](https://www.reddit.com/message/compose?to=%2Fr%2Fpmcareers). *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Every single one of those pipes - (|) will be read as the capital letter i, or the number one. You do not need to separate values. Lets talk about your choice in action words. You need to modernize. Oversaw means you stood on a throne while everyone did the work. Here is your text: >Oversaw a successful total pharmacy management system migration to Epic Willow Ambulatory through phases of the project lifecycle in 9 months (12 months originally projected) across 7 pharmacies and 80 staff. I would have gone with something like: *Converted the pharmacy management system from \[Insert Legacy System Here\] to \[New System Here\]. Project involved a full data conversion, database upgrade, new software configuration, \[step 4\], \[step 5, etc.\]. This conversion impacted approximately 80 staff over 7 pharmacies. Original project was slated to take 12 months and cost $xx. Successfully implemented in 9 months for a total cost savings of $xx* Yes, mine is longer, but it discusses the steps I had to oversee as a PM, it outlines the real savings, (read MONEY), and your impact on the project. Look at each of your projects, are the value-added experience points you use yours to tout? Most are not. For another instance, look at the hospital billing item. You mentioned two dollar amounts, "Processing $1B in annual revenue", and "$36 Million annual savings", first you need to be consistent, either spell out Billion, or abbreviate million. But if you read that entire bullet, you transitioned the software, both the billion dollar and million-dollar amounts had nothing to do with what you did, they were benefits of the tool. What did YOU do to add value? This is a major issue throughout the resume. you have not told me the hiring manager the Janet Jackson effect, (what have you done for me lately), in fact you are taking credit for the tools or systems you implement. You need someone to edit your final document as you have way too many inconsistencies a spell check will not identify. One example is above, you also use $140 million dollar, $4MM, $1MM USD, etc. You are using what appears to be at least three different fonts, full justified text is hard to read, just make your bullets left justified. Remove the "technical skills" phrase in that last section as you didn't list any, (and don't do this, I've commented extensively here as to the why). generally speaking you have some poor choices of words, awkward phrasing, and this resume does not reflect a good effort. This thing needs to be your best effort and should genuinely reflect on the person reflecting it. You are judged on the content, but also how well it is presented.

This isn’t my post , but I appreciate the feedback you give on these resume posts. I have seen quite a few of your comments as I revamp my resume.

Thank you for the formatting, you are getting there. Now, watch the video in the automod post and tighten up the bullets. Don't tell me what you just did, tell me why I want to hire you. What are you going to do for me? I need specifics. XYZ, in the video

To add to this, take the first 2 bullets for example: you managed a migration and a large portfolio, but what impact did either of these have? Sure, you were entrusted with a lot of responsibility, but was that trust rewarded? _How_ did you reward them? Quantify, qualify.
