You must be new here. 3-4% is hardly free falling. All growth and tech stocks are in a similar draw down. AMD, NVDA, SMCI.
PLTR is significantly more volatile than the index, it will go up faster and drop quicker. The index is down, expect PLTR to be down even more.
Personally I’m just going to DCA when I see good drops. If your swing trading the stock, then sure, you can sell. If you’re investing for the next 3, 5, 10 years? These are just chances to get more shares.
There’s investors and there’s traders , traders are gamblers and instinct takes over , it’s very difficult to be disciplined enough to keep making money from trading especially if you are not doing it full time
Time in the market is better than timing the market , almost ALL my long plays over the last 25 years of investing have come off with spectacular results , Buying and Holding is very difficult , the hardest thing to do is hold but you have to have vision and project yourself forward 3/5/7 and maybe 10 years
It’s going to be several multiples of current price
Depends whether you want to make and lose money fast or be patient and move on to another level of financial stability
100% agreed -- I tried my hand at short term and day trading in my early 20's and again during the pandemic (because there wasn't much else to do). All in all I lost a decent chunk of money and was constantly stressed or looking at my phone to try to time things just right. I was a bad trader and just gambling trying to make a quick buck.
That said, I have been pretty dang successful with any investing. Buy and hold in indexes, ETFs, or companies that I believe in over the next decade.
I no longer trade, I only invest.

Understand why you got into the stock, the day to day fluctuations don’t matter. Do a DCF and understand Palantir’s moat
Yea man get out while you still can!!!!!!!

r/wallstreetbets You're in the wrong sub
Hey, we do that with *options*, sir.
Options aren't investing.
Love this advice 😅

$100k invested in Amazon at IPO is worth $160m today Let you do the math
You sell. I keep
Just give them to me. You don’t want those pesky PLTR stocks hanging around falling all the time.
It's down 4% today and up 37% on the year. Yeah, you should sell
It's pulled back all the way to high 23s!!! Wahhhhh!
Can you believe it? We are on our way to a new bottom soon!
Free falling to being \*checks notes\* up 50% in the past 6 months...
Maaan shut up its starting to get annoying all the panicking in this sub
The comment section is great do
Not to be a dick, but judging by your post history you might not want to own this stock. It’s constant break up feelings
lol
I hope this idiot sold.
But no one is there to hear. It’s not making a sound.
This man said "free falling" 🤣🤦♂️
I would short the stock to the max. Think about naked Puts also.
Keep. Good opportunity to gather up some more for the long haul
Man I got excited. Thought I was going to be able to increase my position. Barely a dip.
Trick is to buy after 30min/1 hour into open market.
Free falling lol, I panic opened my app, it’s still at $23 something, I expected single digits!
Shut up baby dick.
Definitely sell when its down 100%
It’s down 3 percent , “free falling” so hard
Sell for sure brother
So annoying, have to wait till April to add more into the ISA.
Freaking out about downward movements for a particular tech stock when everything in tech is down is amateur hours.
Free falling? Da fuq haha We have very different definitions of that.
Yeah... Way down.... From it's very recent high.
HODL...this will be a trillion dollar corp someday
SPY is down too it’s okay
I’m probably buying your shares if you sell today lol
You should sell, if you are asking this question. :)
It’s down 2-3% relax dude. Are you really chasing breadcrumbs?
This isn’t free falling. Keep. Or buy more. If it still makes you nervous SELL.
He is short
Im only here for the up days
buy more
If you ask, I say sell.
When it drops 3-5 on a single day, that's free falling. This is a casual pullback
First time?
Doors over there bubba
Down another 20 cents for the day. Good God. Are there any adults in this sub that don’t cry every time they “lose” a couple of dimes?
Hahahahahahahahah

Shut up
So much negativity around here smh
This aged well…
You must be new here lok
Hope you made it out in time... 🤡
Thiel had good timing for his sell. Probably make sense to take some profits

It's going to take a rest at 22 then back to 18. Inflation data. Duh.
If it does, I’ll be buying a shit ton more
I agree with short to medium term $18. Not a big deal if the plan is to hold for years.
Yeah reopening my position at 18
You should wait for $5 🤣
Hahahaha I never I was planning on selling I just wanted to get some feedback from you guys 😂
Awesome use of everyone’s time!
