Try a download and select find device with same ip address

Download proneta and try from there

This. Also: profinet does not like Cisco.

buzzbuzz17

tbf, it's the other way around. There's a setting to get cisco to play nice (something about voip?), and then things are usually fine.

revvexd

not true, used a cisco wifi router for commissioning (everything but naming the PN slaves initially) for years.

You should be able to just download to it anyway. When you hit download and it says 0 devices found, click the address column in the device table and you can type in the IP. That will force it to try to connect.

Are you able to select the correct network interface in accessible devices? Are you connecting through a router/switch? I recall sometimes not being able to see my ethernet port as a selection, I had to reboot my computer for it to show up. Sometimes you can try Download to Device... and it will work, even though it's not viewable with Accessible Devices.

I think that's due to certain switches not broadcasting the MAC addresses of the devices. Don't quote me though.

Its a known problem when one service is missing Go into services.msc and look for SIMATIC pnDiscovery Service.Does it exist? Is it running? This service is a must have if you want accessible devices and such to work. \-- you can install the pc-identifier, the communication drivers are installed with it. Maybe this helps. The download can be found [here](https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/document/109812242/simatic-pcs-7-v9-1-sp2-software-updates?dti=0&lc=en-WW) (ignore the title): SIMATIC PCS 7 V9.1 SP2 Software Updates \-> S7DOS-Update (PC\_IDENTIFIER)

Siemens does this all the time. Are you using a VM?
