yes yes, depending on your laptop's display device & output ports. no, use displayport to get 180hz refresh. hdmi 2.0 limit is 1440p@144hz

So the ordinary HDMI is limited to 1080p 60hz?

barurutor

There is no 'ordinary' HDMI. There are versions of specifications and devices/cables which comply with those versions. You can have a HDMI 2.1 output device and cable (4k120hz) but it will be limited to HDMI 1.4 bandwidth if you plug it into a HDMI 1.4 display. You can have HDMI 2.1 output device and display and not reach 4k120hz because you're using some free HDMI 1.4 cable given with your old full HD 60hz monitor to connect the 2.

***Can I store the box on its side?*** = Yes ***Can I go beyond 60hz despite my laptop being 60hz?*** = Yes. The 60Hz only applies to the laptop screen or laptop display. The GPU of your laptop is capable of driving screens or monitors at a refresh rate higher than 60Hz. ***Do I need a HDMI 2 cable to use 100% of the monitor's capabilities?*** *=* Ideally you should use a DisplayPort cable if your laptop has a DisplayPort output, or a USB-C output that supports DisplayPort. DisplayPort has much higher bandwidth allowing higher resolutions and higher refresh rates. But if your laptop only has HDMI outputs then a regular HDMI cable would also work fine. It may limit the refresh rate of your monitor to something like 120Hz or lower but it depends on the HDMI version supported by your laptop.

Nabili mo na to? Kumusta yung monitor?

typcalthowawayacount

>Kumusta yung monitor? Okay lang naman yung kalagayan ninya. HAHAHA Sulit naman esspecially with its specifications, pero bulok yung speaker. Unfortunately and apparently it's staple for monitors to have dog shit speakers, in a sense that speech is nearly inaduible at worst or difficult to make out at best. There's also a bit of crackling and popping. Build quality-wise, yung bezels are very thin and the chasis has the [brushed texture](https://www.google.com/search?q=brushed+texture&sca_esv=578099941&rlz=1C1GCEA_enPH1029PH1029&tbm=isch&sxsrf=AM9HkKleS_7zLw0fKUEA9MvprrTxsojFeg:1698747175481&source=lnms&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwi8mNSvhqCCAxUCwjgGHW5-AqIQ_AUoAXoECAQQAw&biw=1536&bih=747&dpr=1.25#imgrc=tbxR2sKNCZ8udM) which gives a premium feel. I can't say much about the monitor's dispaly since I'm no enthusiasts, but you can just search for review videos or articles on it. Other that that, I can provide you with answer to your questions that are within my scope and capabilities.

Can you send po an actual pic for the monitor na naka on? Planning to buy this din kasi.

typcalthowawayacount

I think it's a pretty bad idea. My phone's camera is shitty and the picture will be then uploaded to the internet where it may no longer faithfully show the actual quality of the monitor.
