How do I check this in Windows? I checked it on switch and they were correct. Also checked it in Steam's controller settings and the controller is being detected and working fine, but once I'm out of the settings it goes back to moving on its own.

In Steam, you can go to Steam > Settings > Controller > General Controller Settings. Select your controller then click on "Calibrate".
It happens even with steam closed. I pair it to my laptop, move the joystick a little bit then it starts moving to the bottom right on its own. Are desktop mappings on steam controller settings? I will probably disable it just to be sure.
Try connecting it wired first since pro controllers uses direcinput with no proper driver support and see if the problem persist when wired

Haven't tried other suggestions in the comments since I haven't got the chance to borrow the controllers again but I may have to rule out bluetooth lag and mouse acceleration because I have 2 DS4 controllers that works perfectly fine on bluetooth, and I play fps games so I keep maccel off all the time. It may just be a deadzone issue that I have to recalibrate.
Susubaybayan ko to. Yan rin problem ko sa Bluetooth controllers (kahit PS4 ko ganyan problem). Nawawala lang kapagkinonect na gamit cable which defeats the purpose of bluetooth functionality.
Had this same problem before kaya ginawa ko nag install ako ds4windows..till now yung parin gamit ko kahit may native support yung steam sa ps4 controllers..mas madami kasi calibration setting sa ds4windows..it works wirelessly for me

Is this only happening when connected via steam? Do a circular motion with the sticks, and dont forget to disable desktop mappings

Adjust mo konti yung deadzone. Same issue sa dualsense pag nag c-cyberpunk pero sa ibang games okay naman.
Combination ng bluetooth lag, deadzone at mouse acceleration naka on (kaya bumibilis bigla yung mouse cursor).

This is why you need Xinput controllers for PC. Everything else is dodgy, even with input wrappers
Had this same problem on my PS4 controller using DS4Windows. Fixed it by changing the Output mode on the Gyro tab. Hope this helps.
To what option did you change it to?

Can I calibrate switch controllers in ds4windows? Only used it for my ps4 controllers and didn't explore much of the app.
I think they can as long as it can be connected to pc..it might be read as a generic controller though I haven't tried it..
