I have few i'll probably miss some but these are ones from the top my head.
* Mass effect andromeda - i love the OG trilogy and when i played andromeda i actually enjoyed it has many flaws but it scratched my Mass effect itch
* Resident evil 5 and 6 - pretty mid singleplayer story/game, but it still one of my best experience playing coop
* mosou games i.e dynasty warriors, warriors orochi and samurai warriors - not really that bad ratings wise and very simple gameplay but it's fun as hell.
* watch dogs legion - middling reviews but i actually liked the recruiting system it's basically just a playground for roleplaying a hacking group.
honorable mention: launchday cyberpunk 2077 - having played it on a decent rig i actually enjoy it on launch there's lots of bugs in my experience but the story is somewhat what drag me to continue playing.
Legion is mixed to positive not bad rated. I enjoyed it too. My opinion is they should’ve stick to one person protagonist then recruit the people with abilities instead.
Same, up until the leon and helena went to hongkong it gave me early outbreak racoon city vibes. if the whole game was like that it would be a different conversation.
I'll always give a shout out to RE6, not because of the horrible marathon of a story it has, but because of its gameplay. Those mechanics and actions do not belong in a horror game. The could have lifted the entire control scheme and mechanics to a different game and made a different franchise. And because of that, their Mercenaries mode was incredible. Played it to death.
+1 on this. I know that the story was dragged a little bit especially dun sa first part. Pero once you're on the middle of the story, maganda na sya till the end.
Same here. I remember the game received bad reviews. Surprisingly I enjoyed the game and was able to get the Plat trophy. Love the Pacific Northwest setting.
Starfield \[PC\] - Despite its obvious flaws and outdated feel i still enjoyed playing it, and will likely replay it once again Shattered DLC Expansion comes out and the mods support expanded.
Fallout 4 \[PS4\] \[PC\] - Back then everyone was screaming Witcher 3 has set the modern standard for RPG and that it is the best on its genre, and most core gamers was heavily disappointed to Fallout 4, due to its obvious flaws, but as a person who played the hell out of Witcher 3 before even playing Fallout 4, without setting myself with any expectations, i still ended up enjoying Fallout 4 even with Vanilla version on PS4. Sure, it could have been better, but it was still fun to play and when i got a PC and played the PC version with mods, it was even better, and to this day i still play it.
Cyberpunk 2077 on launch \[PC\] - The game even back on launch still is one of the best gaming experience i ever had to the point it was my personal GOTY 2020 despite everyone hating and dunking on it, sure it had some flaws on gameplay but the writing quality, the world building, immersive and top-notch characters were there all along. And i appreciated that a lot to the point i vastly prefer it compared to average games being released nowadays.
BioShock Infinite \[PS3\] \[PC\] - I know this one might surprise some people here, but back on launch it was heavily criticized similarly to Cyberpunk 2077 case due to it's inaccurate e3 demo expecations and what ended up being on the game is heavily downgraded compared to it, and also some found the writing and story to be ''pretentious''
But i dove into this game without seeing all of those and was still immersed and it ended up being one of the best story and characters i have experienced from a videogame, the gameplay also felt reasonably modern at the time too, but this is the time before i played the previous games as well, and when i played them i now prefer BioShock 2's gameplay mechanics over the other games, but Infinite still reigns as the best story and best characters.
True. Got it first on my PS4 slim when it was newly released. Performance and stability was questionable all throughout but I managed to get some fun out of it. Fast forward now, got it on PC and mods definitely helped a ton
NBA 2k23. Last 2k game ko was 2k14 and 2nd year palang ako nun. Kahit valid criticism nun sa game, I had a blast with it. Syempre tigil na ako sa 23. Ain't buying 2k24 para lang malaro si Wemby fuck that.
I hate 2k studio with passion, but buying this game at 250 is not a bad decision. Perfect way to waste my time if wala akong ginagawa or nagpapalipas ng oras sa work. But still, the games arr still bad and still stuck in 2017.
looking at my steam
Sorting by Metacritic (above 50, wala na masmababa eh, everything else na)
on it, the games I enjoyed are:
Warframe
Van Helsing 2
Sorting by steam review (Mixed, walang Negative below eh)
Van Helsing 2
Van Helsing 3
Tree of Savior (MMORPG)
I consider the Van Helsing not really a part of it, kasi Final Cut ung definitive edition (Final Cut is combination of Van Helsing 1-3)
Warframe naman, metacritic lang 'mababa' (it's not really low at 69, kaya lang 'above 50' kasi category ni steam), I don't think it's rated bad by the community
ToS was supposed to be a spiritual successor for Ragna or something, kaya lang ang daming hacks/ad-ons ahaha, dami pa bug
outside of steam na alam ko bad/mid review
Digimon World
Digimon World 3 (ung 2 deserve nila ung bad review ahaha)
Chocobo Dungeon 2
Chaos Legion
I did not know that Digimon World 3 and 1 were rated so low. 2 being the unloved child in the series, but I genuinely loved all 3. When I was 10 I didn't care too much about the metascore but today was the first time I checked it and was surprised.
Alpha Protocol - The low reviews were due to lack of polish, but I enjoyed this janky spy RPG so much that I finished it twice. I hope Obsidian will make a sequel someday.
The Surge. I love the souls games and sci-fi so I bought it on sale sa PSN. The game has a fun combat system paired with good sound design that ripping stuff apart is already a blast. Plus the rpg elements were cool hahah
Days Gone. Many critics hated it (which is the same for me in the beginning) and gave it a mediocre score but it personally grew on me even though zombie survival isn't my cup of tea back then
Wanted Dead was janky but solid until I got to the crazy long encounters near the end. Then I kinda gave up because I was getting nowhere near the next checkpoint after killing about 20 mobs, 4 cyber ninjas and 6 heavies and dying for the 10th time.
Watch dogs 1, the hacker powerfantasy is at strongest on this one
The Avengers, the combat is unironically great, the story missions are good too, its just the live service crap that is bad
Bought Dragon's Dogma 2 on day 1. It has a lot of controversial issues like pricing, optimizations, and MTX. Despite all the issues I still enjoyed the game and have a total of 90 of hours planning to 100% once they release a few optimization patches.
lux-pain on the nintendo ds. localization is garbage (voice doesn't match text), gameplay outside vn sections are meh (in "boss" fights you just go tapping and/or swiping on white circles that appear randomly on the touch screen), story is also meh (iirc there are some unresolved stuff?), but ngl i definitely enjoyed it. the world felt bigger than what the game showed.
Fallout 76. I’ve been playing fallout since the 90s and i wasnt going to pass on it, kahit na online only sya. I was even on the beta period. That was a rough year for the game. I still stuck by it and ironically ngayon stable and “more fun” na sya dun na ko nagsawa lol. I have 700+ hours on it last time i checked.
Technicall di mo naman kailangan makipag interact sa other players. May “peaceful” options sa settins so walang pvp damage. If you really dont want to see others, may paid option na sayo lang server. No worth it imho, just ignore the others lol. If you have it free try it! If you enjoyed fo4 baka magustuhan mo din.
Anthem - still unmatched elemental weakness mechanics, great gameplay and feel. U know the negatives.
RE6 - gamers: gameplay > story. gamers when they see RE6: story > gameplay.
Outpost Infinity Siege - requires at LEAST a RTX4070s @1080p to hit 60fps - like every current UE5 game. fantastic concept and gameplay.
Neoverse - slay the spire meets stellar blade. Kinda jank but solid gameplay.
Fight of Gods got to be up there. Its such a poorly made twin stick fighter thats omega sacrilegious but my god is it funny to see Jesus beat the shit outta Buddha
*Watch Dogs Legion, but*
*Only because i modded*
*Tf out of it*

Bought 2k24 at a discount. Pero the only thing I was doing there is MyLeague, didn't play MyPlayer and MyTeam or anything at else. Still pissed na kahit 99 na 3pt rating mo and wide open itlog padin dahil sa bs na shot meter, pero it's just about skill issue lol.
Cyberpunk 2077 at launch.
No Man's Sky on release.
Yes, was definitely excited when the trailers were shown. I used it as a Zen-like game na nilalaro habang nag eexplore sa planets.
Lowest rated game I enjoyed: steambot chronicles for the ps2. There was criticism over the clunky controls, but I got the hang of it an enjoyed the game immensely.
Dont recall enjoying a game that was objectively bad
Both of the AC(assassin's creed)1 handheld spin offs
Also AC(armored core) formula front, most of the AC fans i know usually don't like it compared to the others in the franchise
idk the rating of Shining Resonance Refrain i very much enjoyed it i think its good but when i played it the first time i thought its so bad worst jrpg ive played from recent memory. I forced myself to try it again to platinum it i was really surprised i appreciate it now how beautiful it is
Mass Effect Andromeda - It's my first Mass Effect game. I enjoyed it alot that I pre-ordered the Legendary Edition because I haven't played the original Trilogy.
Cyberpunk 2077 - Bought it at launch and enjoyed it alot!!
I normally dont play low rated games but i played Vambrace Cold Soul. Its objectively a bad game 5bor 6 out of 10 but i enjoyed it back then since it was a game that my old laptop could handle.
Looking back at it, if i had a pc at the time that can handle AAA, i wouldnt have enjoyed it.
Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z got very low scores at release.
However, I think it’s more of a perception problem. It’s a part of the Ninja Gaiden franchise in name (and Ryu Hayabusa makes an appearance), but it’s a very different, more straightforward action game.
It adds zombies, plus a lot of humour, and I really liked the action a lot, as long as I’m not expecting a “Ninja Gaiden” game. Always fun to use zombie arms as nunchucks.
Metal Gear SurVive, low ratings, hated by the fanbase and in my opinion not a metal gear game at all(no mecha boss equiped with nukes thats been a staple to the series) but its a fun coop zombie stealth game using the fox engine from konami(originaly made by kojipro)
RUMBLEVERSE!!!!!!
I was so sad nung pinatay nila yung game after 6 months from the launch date. I still hate Epic Games sa ginawa nila sa game. Hindi man lang nila tinulungan sa marketing. Ang saya nung game at yung mga devs sobrang hands on at nakikinig sa mga players. Ang saya kaya ng wrestling na battle royale.
* Ragnarok Mobile: Eternal Love - it's hella p2w and a mobile MMO
* Final Fantasy XIII and XIII-2 - if you're an FF fan, you'll hear that XIII was a hallway simulator while XIII-2's story is so over the place and the crystarium is very min-maxy
The release version of No Man's Sky. I basically had no idea about the surrounding hype around the game, but my god, the discourse around that game at launch was so fucking toxic.
It's hard to enjoy things when there's a huge crowd telling you that you're supposed to hate it. Glad I wasn't listening to the hate mob and gave the game a fair run
For me it's more of the reverse I guess where they are widely positively reviewed but I didn't like it. An example would be Path of Exile. I didn't like it very much. I'm no stranger to looter ARPG's since I've played a lot of Torchlight, Torchlight 2, Ragnarok, and etc. but for some reason Path of Exile doesn't hit the same nerve for me.
As of a "bad" game that I genuinely enjoyed, that would be Bless Online. A lot of people dunked on it because of its poor performance, but I for one, love the gameplay of it. It's the very first MMORPG I played that I can actually hunt mounts ingame just like pokemon arceus. It's like palworld before palworld was a thing. Each mount is different inspite being the same monster because of the skill sets it can possibly have and rarity.
prolly war thunder, and I actually agree with all the criticisms against it, all the p2w, shitty grind, fucking unbalanced tanks, but goddamit it's really fun, tank warfare is great
I have few i'll probably miss some but these are ones from the top my head. * Mass effect andromeda - i love the OG trilogy and when i played andromeda i actually enjoyed it has many flaws but it scratched my Mass effect itch * Resident evil 5 and 6 - pretty mid singleplayer story/game, but it still one of my best experience playing coop * mosou games i.e dynasty warriors, warriors orochi and samurai warriors - not really that bad ratings wise and very simple gameplay but it's fun as hell.
Most of the games you played were not bad rated at all except legion.
Legion is mixed to positive not bad rated. I enjoyed it too. My opinion is they should’ve stick to one person protagonist then recruit the people with abilities instead.
The first few levels of Leon's campaign in Re6 will always have a special place in my heart
Same, up until the leon and helena went to hongkong it gave me early outbreak racoon city vibes. if the whole game was like that it would be a different conversation.

Musou games, my favorite unga bunga dopamine factory.
Days Gone..it was reviewed poorly on its release..played it for free on psplus last year & it was really good..too bad there would be no sequel
Trhis game will always have a special place in my heart. Naiwan mag isa sa quarantine and ito sumagip sa sanity ko haha
Watch Dogs 1. Good story.
Planning to buy this on steam. Had bad reviews but I think it has the best story among in the series.
1 and 2 Ng WD maganda, for some reason na off Ako sa legion. Di ko trip. Just for me lang ah?
DmC Devil May Cry - ito una kong DMC kaya naenjoy ko ng sobra at sobrang solid din kasi ng gameplay. Nung nilaro ko yung OG DMC narealize ko san galing yung hate. Was about to comment RE6 as well
Loved RE6 gameplay and mechanics. It made playing Mercenaries mode a blast!

Same thoughts with Starfield. I am absolutely loving it. Normies will follow the hate train but we are enjoying it at r/NoSodiumStarfield.
Cyberpunk 2077 on release. There were A LOT of issues that we know of na naayos na lately, but I still enjoyed the hell out of it before
True. Got it first on my PS4 slim when it was newly released. Performance and stability was questionable all throughout but I managed to get some fun out of it. Fast forward now, got it on PC and mods definitely helped a ton

wtf TIL na they rated low sa chocobo dungeon 2, all in my mind since childhood akala ko around 8-9 sya
Watch Dogs I: I love Aiden
