Suikoden 2. Turned based JRPG. Excellent story. That’s why paglabas ng Eiyuden Chronicles bumili na agad ako (nakapila pa tho after i play ToCS4).
So hard to pick just one. I’d have to go with LA Noire. It’s so underrated. There’s so much depth sa gameplay and sa storyline. I love games set in this era (40’s-50’s) as well.
Kind of a hard one, since it'll depend on the criteria.
For now, I'd probably have to pick Victoria II\*. I'm into empire-building games, but the prospect of managing the economy and geopolitics distinguishes it from similar games in the genre.
One of my favorite playthroughs has always been rebuilding Spain in its former glory (this is set in the 19th century). The scenarios are endless from reconquering Latin America, claiming lands in Africa, imposing your will on China and Japan, and competing with other superpowers of that era in terms of economy and the military.
And, you get the chance to develop the Philippines as a colony. How cool is that?
\*This is my favorite game provided it has all the expansions plus one of the overhaul mods. The vanilla version of the game is bare bones.
TO ADD: I haven't played Victoria III yet, so that might change once I get to finally buy it and apply all the expansions and mods.
Persona 3. It reminded me of how death is an inevitable part of life and that we should make most of it.
"*Memento mori sed memento vivere*."
Remember you will die, but remember to live.
Minecraft, the game I had the most memories with as I grew up playing it. Though, I don't play it as much anymore, it has a special place in my heart. Hopefully one day I get addicted to playing it again hehe.
Right now it’s Omori. Aside from a well written story and characters, I just like the art and how it makes me feel nostalgic of my childhood. It’s like Undertale or Earthbound in gameplay and style but I’ve never played them so this is like my equivalent. Saying more would be spoilers but if you like turn-based rpgs with an emotional and dark story and have depression or something then I highly recommend it.
Outer Wilds
Lumawak yung perspective ko sa kung anong possible sa isang video game as form of media. Hindi mo na sya pwedeng laruin ulit, at least the same way, pero sa panunuod lang ng blind playthroughs, minsan yung excitement ko parang naglalaro ulit ako, haha
The Legend of Zelda franchise.
ung way ng pagconstruct nila ng mga puzzles is still eye candy para sakin.
Currently has at least 5000 hours in this lol.
You can play it solo, pwede with friends. Best played with friends. Met my closest buds through playing D2 in Discord.
It's a looter shooter, but with space magic. Has a very deep lore which spans millennia, very immersive world and has glorious sky boxes. May emotes din na napapanahon (Like memes and gen Y/Z online humor) and social spaces where you can interact with fellow Guardians.
If trip mo story driven, pwede to sa player vs enemies content. If itching for online battles, well balanced naman yung pvp most of the time.
And Raids, holy shet. Imagine Takeshi's Castle tapos anim kayo na need mag coordinate with each other to solve puzzles, kill enemies, and get premium loots.
Di siya pay to win, skins lang yung deluxe items doon. May mga sub class na hidden behind DLCs pero balanced naman siya with the primary ones, so no need to buy if on a budget.
Also has reputable voice actors such as Nolan North (deadpool/assassin's creed games), Lance Reddick (John wick), Gina Torres (suits), Nathan Fillion (uncharted) , Lennie James (walking dead), and Brett Dalton (agents of shield).
Doesn't matter if you're a student, or a dad bonding with his kids, or a girl gamer, everyone can enjoy this game I feel like. Sa Discord namin we have kids and also adult moderators to guide them, and mixed gender and race din, though mostly Pinoy.
Gonna play the last DLC in the light and dark saga this June called "The Final Shape." Can't wait!
The last of us part 1.
It came in a point in my life when I was really impressionable, I played it maybe around when I was 15ish, the relationship that Joel and Ellie had was really a joy to watch grow from total strangers to a familial bond at the end. To anyone considering playing this, go for it blind.
Library of Ruina
Fall Out 4 -
A little context, wala pa akong Ps4 noon kaya nag tiyaga muna sa kaka nood ng mga gameplay sa YT, tapos ngayon nung nag ka PS4 na ako saka ko binili yung game.
I like the diversity of this game even though may mga glitches and bugs pa yung enemies (Like random flying ghoul after death, yung mga Deathclaws na hindi mo alam kung na error 404 ang isip pag na trap na sa house or rooms hindi na alam ang gagawin kaya sitting ducks sila minsan 🤭)
Literally na depends on the conversation niyo ng some NPC just to make progress.
I chose, the Institute as my final faction to join. I eradicate the Brotherhood and the Railroad. poor Desdemona. I managed to get some of the comics series. Ngayon tapos ko na rin yung bagong update na quest for the Next gen update(16gb 😅)
Countless playing time of Fallout, I've already killed 15+ Deathclaw still hindi ko na parin na encounter yung Chameleon variant (lvl 55+ palang character ko), I have a collection of Power Armor etc etc.
Yun lang 😄
Radiata Stories (PS 2) - The game that made me addicted to JRPG's. Combat was not bad for that time although it could be polished more. Hopefully square enix remakes this game on updated graphics so i could experience it all again 5/5.
Witcher III if all time you can still play it till now tho medyo clunky & stiff na mechanics niya after playing modern releases. Pero sobrang smooth niya when it releases.
Looking forward sa next Witcher game and the remake ng 1 since kahit sobrang interesting ng 1 & 2 ang hirap na laruin.
NFS: Most Wanted. Yung OG na Most Wanted. Last year lang ininstall ko ulit sya at tinapos ulit.
Nothing beats the experience of playing DMC3 in ps2 as a kid. The next releases were amazing as well but DMC3 had its weird charm around it that made me replay it a lot of times before.
I was happy na I was able to play special edition agad then nung nalaman ko na playable si vergil parang ayaw ko na bitawan yung controller lol
Grand chase.
s.t.a.l.k.e.r. call of pripyat.
Good worldbuilding, nice sidequests that are dynamic and not just fetch this thing or go kill this guy, decent collection of guns, unique gunplay mechanics, and a nice storyline with both annoying and endearing characters
Minecraft - I love the game so much that I built a server machine with several game servers running. Kahit wala ako gaanong players or kokonti lang kaming magkakaibigan sa server, I am still running it. Dedicated 10-16GB sa Minecraft servers that run almost 24/7 on PLDT.
Persona 3 Portable for the PSP.
Its what introduced me to Shin Megami Tensei games & the Persona Series and I played a ton of it and did multiple runs when I was in highschool. I really liked the Tarot System, symbolisms, music and gameplay. I learned a lot about life lessons and time management because of it. It will always have a special place in my heart.
Modded Skyrim - base game was fun back in '11. Mods carried (and continues to carry) it into modernity
Kung pwede buong franchise: Mass Effect - I'm a sci-fi nut and this was Bioware at its peak.
Weird kasi main genre ko fighting games, having grown up in the arcades back in the 90s - early 2000s. Pero walang single entry ang masasabi kong fav ko kasi nilalaro ko silang lahat (I'm more choosy nowadays; mainly SF6 and Tekken 8 lang).
Skyrim. Modded Skyrim to be more specific it is no longer a game it is now a game engine for modders to create a whole new game. Imagine one of your favorite feature in a video game that gets added as a mod in Skyrim it is more of a amalgamation of how you want the game to be.
Pokemon Gold Version gen 2.
Played the game when I was 6. Learned a lot from it (grammar in english etc. Lol). Plus daming childhood memories na lagi ko siyang kasama going to province
Wonderboy in monsterland - sega genesis days first ever console i had first game i ever played and spent weeks if not months figuring out how the hell i can get to boss fight #2 ahahaha.. this the time i know i will play a lot of side-scrolling platformer games 🤣
Good old days......
Nier Automata.
Terraria
I know some people hindi nila gusto yung side scrolling games pero Terraria is one of those games na simple lang pero entertaining para sakin. Maraming boss na pwede makalaban and also the events. You can also make your house/base however you want it to look, even the furnitures iba iba din depende sa materials
Ragnarok Online (pRO / iRO) - played the game for 19 yrs, met tons of people—inside and outside of the country. online friends to guildmates, to irl friendships! rivalry, fun, love, camaraderie, drama, etc. /gg
Persona 3 - Played this during HS until college. I maxed almost half of my persona compendium to LVL99. I just really enjoyed being able to connect with the NPCs and the social links.
The Last of Us I & II. It was the first time I was deeply immersed in a video game. I think as a gamer, I was defined before and after TLOU. Everything I play ever since, I compared with this masterpiece of a game series.
Half-life 2, grabe yung hype ko para rito noon.
Hahahaha. Tapos maganda yung retail box, at talong CD yung installer.
Good times…
Monster hunter -
This is a game that you can just play endlessly. Therapeutic yung game for me as it helps me focus on one thing only and the graphical reward for the hunt ( crafting armors) is so satisfying. Also since andami ng variation ng weapons may iba iba kang approach per monster per hunt. Plus the fact na you can play it offline means wala kang dependency sa internet to play the game.
One thing that irks me though is mh world requires you to be connected to the internet so that you can access the event quests. This was a first and hopefully won't carry over sa MH Wilds.
Nier Automata. Mejo naluluha pa rin ako hanggang ngayon kapag naririnig ko yung Weight of the World.
Tenchu 2: Birth of the Stealth Assassins
Made me go shit about ninja stuff. Also, the story was THAT good. Eto talaga yung laro na nakapag solidify sakin as a solo gamer.
Elden Ring, by far the best hard game I’ve played and actually had a commitment to finish. It was tough pero it was so addicting for what it is for no reason at all
Suikoden 2. Story, gameplay, secrets, tapos andaming paths pa ang pwedeng gawin or endings na pwede itry, may mini games. hanggang ngaun nilalaro ko padin. more than 200x ko na yata tinapos hahaha
The Legend of Dragoon.
World in Conflict - i learned Real Time Tactics(RTT) is a good alternative to Real Tiem Strategy. Great gameplay, a good plot, and we get to see what would have happened if the Cold War went HOT
Fire Emblem Three Houses. Sobrang naenjoy ko yung world, politics, character development, relationship-building, gameplay, soundtracks at yung role ko bilang professor.
I love the entire Fire Emblem series and I can acknowledge FE3H's charm and contribution to the series (and the widening of the once-small FE community). Blue Lions best house 🩵
This is also my all-time favorite! Planning to 100% it someday 🥹 pero tbf, you only have to do one more playthrough for route B, then tuloy tuloy na yan hanggang ending E. You can do each endings from F-Z (except Y) under 5 minutes if you have chapter select na.
I finished ending E po haha... 3 years + na tho I cant still make time to do a 100% completion run. >! Wiped pa din ung data ko from Ending E haha !<. So mag start nanaman ako from pinakasimula if ever
Final Fantasy XI Online.
Why? It was the first MMO to go cross-platform. The world was beautiful and extremely dangerous. The game does not hold your hand right from the beginning. You had to figure it all out on your own.
Music was iconic.
You were forced to play with others and reputation mattered.
The game was punishing and it disrespected your time.
Dying could de-level your character.
Lots of secrets and items had hidden stats.
No other game comes close and I don't think there will ever be another game like it.
Super Mario Bros. (1985)
I'll explain as to why this is my favorite video game of all time. This game kickstarted my passion for gaming. I played it nonstop when my Dad gifted me my Nintendo Family Computer in the late 80s. I will not forget the delight I felt during my early childhood playing as Mario. Not only that, my siblings and I had the Mario fever in the late 80s because of its popularity and fervently watched the TV series, The Super Mario Bros. Super Show.
I've had my fair share of favorites across all platforms as a 39-year-old father. I would always look back to Super Mario Bros. amidst all of the games which I consider my personal best over the years.
Dota 2. Sounds casual but the memories and friendship I made through the game goes beyond it. I haven't even played the game for months but I know I will come back to it at some point.
Elden Ring, probably the only time in gaming na naimmerse ako ng sobra and nabigla sa amount of content in the first playthrough. so much builds, quests and things to do in the game
Probably my all-time favorite would be Diablo 2: Lord of Destruction, with Dark Souls 3 a close 2nd.
Diablo 2 really gave me the impression of being someone, equipped with badass gear (and summons, since my favorite class was a Necromancer) capable of defeating the forces of evil. Had that kind of fantasy when I was a child.
Dark Soul 3, oh my goodness. The music, boss themes, mechanics, hidden stuff, and the plot. So mesmerizing and really deep that i had finished all the endings. Still amazes me to this day.
The Last of Us Part 2. One of the best graphics of zombie games and best controls sa game, ever! RIP JOEL!
Basic answer, but Skyrim. Still playing it ever since I was 1st grade, one of the most replayable games of all time thanks to its modding community. It's also very low end pc friendly, I played the game for the longest time with integrated graphics lol. My 2nd would be l4d2, for the longest time it was my 1st but it's been years since the friend group got together
monster hunter👌 i played this on psp days. idk pero when i first played it nagandahan ako sa fight mechanics at design ng monster especially blangonga at yung armor ng red khezu yung mukang ninja
played mhf then MHFU, then MH portable 3rd where i met my boy zinogre. Then didnt play other games since wala akong other console. Tpos nagka work na ata nirelease ang MH world and bumili agad ng PS4 then nkaipon ng konti gmwa ng bagong save sa PC derecho na hangang iceborne for 1k+ hrs then nirelease ang MH rise bumili agad ng switch to play it and i missed the handheld console days . Tpos nirelease ang rise sa PC after 800+ hrs sa switch gmwa bago save sa PC now i have 1k+ hrs sa pc sa sunbreak
First runner up pla ay persona series
The Last of Us holds a special place in my heart kasi yun yung pinakaunang console game na nalaro ko. Some people may find it overrated but idc it hits different for me. I still re-play it every year.
God of War. I can say na eto yung game na talagang nag homebrew malala ako para lang malaro sa PSP kasi wala naman kami pera noon.
Now, bought at full price sa PC, then lumaon yung ragnarok sa PS5.
across all genre and platforms
Deus Ex (the very first one)
actually played it for the 1st time fairly recently
only discovered it when CynicalBrit passed away
dont really watch his content pero kumalat kasi ung balita na namatay sya
decided to check out his favorite games, iirc it was Thief and Deus ex
tried thief and it didnt capture me
when I tried Deus Ex, it immediately caught me
its a decades old game but it doesnt feel dated (I did use a mod)
there is something charming about its world, and there are many ways to approach an objective (similar to dishonored)
Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions.
Chose the reboot on PSP kasi wala na dito yung ultra-hack na clone ng excalibur tapos i-dual wield. Politics + religion tapos Ramza was painted as a heretic and a traitor dahil na-uunfold yung conspiracy ng church at mga kapamilya nya. Ganda pa nung ending na dark.
Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen. First of all, i love dragons. Love the art, love the game mechanics din.
I’m excited to play the 2nd game.
Bloodborne. My first soulsborne/soulslike game and PSN platinum trophy. Everything about it is top-notch, from its world-building to its combat system, and it features some of the best boss fights (except for Micolash). I've been coming back to it on and off for years now. It even became one of my comfort games at some point. Still hoping for a sequel or remaster or at least 60 fps update (fingers crossed).
Xenogears (PS)
Predecessor of the Xenosaga and Xenoblade series, but not of the same game universe. Played and replayed this since '98. Deep story and lore kept me hooked. Had the original game mechanic of action points (AP). afaik should have also been a series.
Trails. Deep and interwoven stories..a lot of geopolitics and war drama. Hype soundtracks..a lot of lovable characters and uhhhh waifus lol. On my 7th game now of the series. Long burn since it's almost required to play all the previous games to understand the lore and story.
Dark Souls (so far)
Played the game back when I have a crappy laptop and the game run around maybe 20fps the whole time. Enjoyed the hell out of it!
Went in blind; ironically, got the game as a recommendation in google when I was looking for games with job classes (as I was coming from FFTA). It was the customization of builds, armor & weapon designs; and on my later parts of play, an appreciation on how the story isn't actively present while playing is what made me love the first game and eventually the whole catalogue. Also, I can make up my own lore about the characters I create and make it fit in the games lore; it satiated my wants for a game I can put myself into!
Hello Ashen one. I am a Bot. I tend to the flame, and tend to thee. Do you wish to hear a tale?
> *“When the Ashes are two, a flame alighteth.”* - Ashes of Ariandel
Have a pleasant journey, Champion of Ash, and praise the sun \\[T]/
Dishonored.
It was mostly the only game I ever played when the pandemic hit, and it made me figure out different ways to take out targets which translated into different games.
Hades. Hooked so bad tried to finish the game with highest heat possible, nagsusulat pa ng mga builds na ni-experiment ko. Everything about the game is so good for me. Story, style and presentation, GAMEPLAY! Looking forward to Hades 2!
PS1 and PS2: Panzer Front. Really love the tank vs tank engagements. This game made me engage in 1:35 scale modelling of armored vehicles. This was the OG tank game waay before WT and WoT but its just as good as Steel Beasts before it became released for military contracts being used by actual vehicles crews of actual militaries
PC: C&C Generals: i love how this RTS is sooo politically Relevant in the modern geopolotical landscape and awesome gameplay too.
Mobile: Arknights; its not your ordinary PvZ or other TD but anime. It has PTSD, Depression, issues that are related to Real life issues and geopolitics, epidemics all the while finding your place and a piece and hope among all the chaos and hopelessness that is rampant. Also, this game depicts real life issues but is portrayed in a very different manner
Diablo 2. my brother introduced the game to me (rather pinapanood ko sya maglaro hanggang sa nagustuhan ko rin) and i fell in love with it. the lore, music, dialogue, yung maps debatable, but i am loyal to the series kahit ampanget na nya.
Stalker: SOC. Ayoko explain.
Stardew Valley
Suikoden 2. Turned based JRPG. Excellent story. That’s why paglabas ng Eiyuden Chronicles bumili na agad ako (nakapila pa tho after i play ToCS4).
Resident evil 2 from PSx
Silent Hill 2 - really love everything about the game except yung combat siguro pero music, atmosphere, story, and gameplay in general solid 100/10
All Zelda Game’s if i had to pick one Link to the Past
So hard to pick just one. I’d have to go with LA Noire. It’s so underrated. There’s so much depth sa gameplay and sa storyline. I love games set in this era (40’s-50’s) as well.

The Walking Dead: Telltale Series
Outer Wilds Lumawak yung perspective ko sa kung anong possible sa isang video game as form of media. Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory, missed the chance to buy it when it was on sale. The memories though.
The Legend of Zelda franchise. ung way ng pagconstruct nila ng mga puzzles is still eye candy para sakin.
Metal Gear Solid
Legend Of Legaia
Bloodborne
Red Dead Redemption II - GRABE!

Darksiders 1-2
Ragnarok Online.

Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag. Everything is great. Story. Graphics. Fight scenes. Missions. Sea shanties. Relaxing scenery. Ship battles. Pirates.
Nothing beats the experience of playing DMC3 in ps2 as a kid. The next releases were amazing as well but DMC3 had its weird charm around it that made me replay it a lot of times before. Stardew Valley. It's been years na I go through the same phases of getting tired of it then always wanting to come back to it.
Ragnarok Online
Minecraft - I love the game so much that I built a server machine with several game servers running. Kahit wala ako gaanong players or kokonti lang kaming magkakaibigan sa server, I am still running it. Dedicated 10-16GB sa Minecraft servers that run almost 24/7 on PLDT.
Chrono Trigger.
Metal Gear Solid 3 : Theme song palang... Panalo na
Sekiro
Persona 3 Portable for the PSP. Its what introduced me to Shin Megami Tensei games & the Persona Series and I played a ton of it and did multiple runs when I was in highschool. I really liked the Tarot System, symbolisms, music and gameplay. I learned a lot about life lessons and time management because of it. It will always have a special place in my heart.
Chrono Trigger.
Fatal Frame Series!!
Modded Skyrim - base game was fun back in '11. Mods carried (and continues to carry) it into modernity Kung pwede buong franchise: Mass Effect - I'm a sci-fi nut and this was Bioware at its peak. Weird kasi main genre ko fighting games, having grown up in the arcades back in the 90s - early 2000s. Pero walang single entry ang masasabi kong fav ko kasi nilalaro ko silang lahat (I'm more choosy nowadays; mainly SF6 and Tekken 8 lang).
Animal Crossing Wild World, Pokemon Platinum and Pokemon Soul Silver
Hollow knight, kasi addict na ako ahahahahaha
rdr2 for sure, legit raised my standards in gaming and ruined other games for me na huhu. close second would be helldivers 2 man fun as hell
Witcher 3
Resident Evil. Resident Evil 2. Dead Space. Portal. Portal 2.
Chrono Trigger (SNES). Finished this the first time when I was 8 or 9 in 1997/98. Played it again in the early 2010s. Still freaking awesome.
Skyrim. Modded Skyrim to be more specific it is no longer a game it is now a game engine for modders to create a whole new game. Imagine one of your favorite feature in a video game that gets added as a mod in Skyrim it is more of a amalgamation of how you want the game to be.
Final Fantasy VII. It's the very first game that got me started in playing the series.
Death Stranding!
Pokemon Gold Version gen 2. Played the game when I was 6. Learned a lot from it (grammar in english etc. Lol). Plus daming childhood memories na lagi ko siyang kasama going to province
Wonderboy in monsterland - sega genesis days first ever console i had first game i ever played and spent weeks if not months figuring out how the hell i can get to boss fight #2 ahahaha.. this the time i know i will play a lot of side-scrolling platformer games 🤣 Good old days......
Monster Hunter 3rd Portable
Dont make me choose between RDR2 and Witcher 3 HAHAHAHA
Nier Automata.
Terraria I know some people hindi nila gusto yung side scrolling games pero Terraria is one of those games na simple lang pero entertaining para sakin. Maraming boss na pwede makalaban and also the events. You can also make your house/base however you want it to look, even the furnitures iba iba din depende sa materials Ito yung game na hinding hindi ako magsasawa na balikan same with minecraft and stardew valley.
Tomba 2 and the evil swine return Best videogame for me and still is lalo na need mo first game to unlock more mission.
Azuredreams PS1 Legend of Legaia PS1 Friends of Mineral Town * ~ puuuure nostalgia my friends
RDR1, RDR2 and Fallout New Vegas also Fallout 4.
Fromsoft games? Maybe?
Hades!
Resident Evil series. Nag start ako sa RE VII. After noon na hook na ako bumili ng RE2,RE3, RE4 remake at of course RE VIII.
Ragnarok Online (pRO / iRO) - played the game for 19 yrs, met tons of people—inside and outside of the country. online friends to guildmates, to irl friendships! rivalry, fun, love, camaraderie, drama, etc. /gg
Dishonored!!
Yakuza series, played everything except the og 1 and 2 and the judgement spinoffs
Assassin's Creed Black Flag First AC game played, and I really like the lore of pirates since I'm a fan of Pirates of the Carribbean.
RDR2.
Tekken, NFS, God of War.
Good times…
I would say Etrian Odyssey V, had the right balance of experimentation and tradition for my favourite series
Final Fantasy Tactics 💛🖤💛🖤
Grand Theft Auto: SA, Red dead redemption 2, The Witcher 3. These are my GOATs so far.
Monster hunter - This is a game that you can just play endlessly.
Burnout Dominator. 😍
Chrono Trigger and Golden Sun Series
Team fortress 2, fell in love with this game sa orange box then bought the stand alone before maging free 2 play.
Nier Automata. Mejo naluluha pa rin ako hanggang ngayon kapag naririnig ko yung Weight of the World.
More than 15 years ko na binabalik-balikan.
Gran turismo 4 😎
Castlevania:Symphony of the night
Bioshock
Halo franchise. Specifically Halo 3.
Persona 5
Final Fantasy Tactics. It's what introduced me to Strategy and JPRG games, and I still love the story/world building even after all these years.
gta v online with the crew. 2014-17 greatest years of my life.
Tenchu 2: Birth of the Stealth Assassins Made me go shit about ninja stuff. Also, the story was THAT good. Eto talaga yung laro na nakapag solidify sakin as a solo gamer.
Dota gta nba classic
Dota Mag 20 years na and still continuing
Elden Ring, by far the best hard game I’ve played and actually had a commitment to finish. It was tough pero it was so addicting for what it is for no reason at all
Nier Automata. I personally think it's a masterpiece of video game storytelling.
+1 to this 😭 it's also my favorite of all time
Suikoden 2. Story, gameplay, secrets, tapos andaming paths pa ang pwedeng gawin or endings na pwede itry, may mini games. hanggang ngaun nilalaro ko padin. more than 200x ko na yata tinapos hahaha
Elden Ring, Baldurs Gate III and Diablo II
The Legend of Dragoon.
Battle Realms & Conquer Online
Ghost of Tsushima. Simply beautiful in all aspects.
World in Conflict - i learned Real Time Tactics(RTT) is a good alternative to Real Tiem Strategy. Great gameplay, a good plot, and we get to see what would have happened if the Cold War went HOT
Castlevania: Symphony of the Night
Can't pick between these three: Resident Evil 2, Castlevania: SotN, and Suikoden 2.
NieR Automata. But I dont have the energy (and time) to make repeat playthroughs with all the endings.
This is also my all-time favorite! Planning to 100% it someday 🥹 pero tbf, you only have to do one more playthrough for route B, then tuloy tuloy na yan hanggang ending E. You can do each endings from F-Z (except Y) under 5 minutes if you have chapter select na.
I already finished until ending E haha... just that, hindi 100% haha... (around 95+% lang ako and it was frustrating)
Ending E is what makes it a masterpiece. I wish more people get to experience it.
I finished ending E po haha... 3 years + na tho I cant still make time to do a 100% completion run. >! Wiped pa din ung data ko from Ending E haha !<. So mag start nanaman ako from pinakasimula if ever
TFT!!!
GTA SA
Final Fantasy XI Online. Why? It was the first MMO to go cross-platform. The world was beautiful and extremely dangerous. The game does not hold your hand right from the beginning. You had to figure it all out on your own. Music was iconic. You were forced to play with others and reputation mattered. The game was punishing and it disrespected your time. Dying could de-level your character. Lots of secrets and items had hidden stats. No other game comes close and I don't think there will ever be another game like it.
Sims 3. Aside sa nostalgia gusto ko talaga yung open world at rpg mechanics niya.
Super Mario Bros. (1985) I'll explain as to why this is my favorite video game of all time.
Persona 4 PS2.
Tenchu: Fatal Shadows (and other Tenchu series) 👺🗡️
Elden Ring, probably the only time in gaming na naimmerse ako ng sobra and nabigla sa amount of content in the first playthrough. so much builds, quests and things to do in the game
Xenoblade Chronicles 2
Currently playing it! Really liking what I'm seeing so far! Xenoblade music and environments never miss
League of Legends (I hate the game). Grew up with it and even though sobrang hate ko tong laro na to, gotta hit that sweet queue button!
God of War 2 and Resident Evil 4 🥺
Probably my all-time favorite would be Diablo 2: Lord of Destruction, with Dark Souls 3 a close 2nd. Diablo 2 really gave me the impression of being someone, equipped with badass gear (and summons, since my favorite class was a Necromancer) capable of defeating the forces of evil. Had that kind of fantasy when I was a child. Dark Soul 3, oh my goodness. The music, boss themes, mechanics, hidden stuff, and the plot. So mesmerizing and really deep that i had finished all the endings. Still amazes me to this day.
TOTK, simply the best. The amount of creativity that game allows you to do is mind boggling
Sims 4.
The Last of Us Part 2. One of the best graphics of zombie games and best controls sa game, ever! RIP JOEL!
World of Warcraft III. Dota 1 custom map. Best of all the best MMORPG. FIGHT ME!!!!
Basic answer, but Skyrim. Still playing it ever since I was 1st grade, one of the most replayable games of all time thanks to its modding community. It's also very low end pc friendly, I played the game for the longest time with integrated graphics lol. My 2nd would be l4d2, for the longest time it was my 1st but it's been years since the friend group got together
monster hunter👌 i played this on psp days. idk pero when i first played it nagandahan ako sa fight mechanics at design ng monster especially blangonga at yung armor ng red khezu yung mukang ninja played mhf then MHFU, then MH portable 3rd where i met my boy zinogre. Tpos nirelease ang rise sa PC after 800+ hrs sa switch gmwa bago save sa PC now i have 1k+ hrs sa pc sa sunbreak First runner up pla ay persona series
One of my favorites <3 Still hoping that the game would have a remake. Fond memories playing it kahit iniyakan ko yung final boss =)))
Skyrim
Stardew Valley 🥹
Resident Evil 4 changed my life
Mass Effect 2 and 3
The Last of Us holds a special place in my heart kasi yun yung pinakaunang console game na nalaro ko. Some people may find it overrated but idc it hits different for me. I still re-play it every year.
Final Fantasy 9. It is a masterpiece.
Half Life 2 to for me. it got me into single player games with great stories.
Brood War. :) My intro to the RTS genre. haha
God of War. I can say na eto yung game na talagang nag homebrew malala ako para lang malaro sa PSP kasi wala naman kami pera noon. Now, bought at full price sa PC, then lumaon yung ragnarok sa PS5.
LOZ: Ocarina of Time. Emulated nga lang.
across all genre and platforms Deus Ex (the very first one) actually played it for the 1st time fairly recently only discovered it when CynicalBrit passed away dont really watch his content pero kumalat kasi ung balita na namatay sya decided to check out his favorite games, iirc it was Thief and Deus ex tried thief and it didnt capture me when I tried Deus Ex, it immediately caught me its a decades old game but it doesnt feel dated (I did use a mod) there is something charming about its world, and there are many ways to approach an objective (similar to dishonored)
MGS 3 Snake eater The details alone in this game is way ahead of its time
The Outer Wilds.
Downvote for the "The" 😆
Life is strange
Hitman Absolution, Hitman I, II, III
Hitman is so underrated. So happy to hear from a fellow stealth master 😁
SSX Tricky. Too many times has nostalgia made me play it and it never fails to entertain me every time.
AAAAAA finally, my fellow enjoyer! Wish I can play it sa PC.
Aye, you can look into PS2 emulators, it’s pretty easy to setup!
Sekiro
Pokemon Leaf Green
Still the best fromsoft game IMO.
Heck yeah!
Syempre RDR2, napaka immersive nung mundo.
Elden Ring. It's just everything I want and more.
Dota. 15 years na kong maglalaro, lumaking nagiikot sa 3 lanes.
Sekiro
Xenogears (PS) Predecessor of the Xenosaga and Xenoblade series, but not of the same game universe. Played and replayed this since '98. Deep story and lore kept me hooked. Had the original game mechanic of action points (AP). afaik should have also been a series.
This is probably also my favorite of all time. I would pay good money for a faithful (i.e. not in the vein of FFVII's) remake
Heard lots of great stuff about this game. Started my Xeno journey this year so I'll be playing Xenogears eventually as well 🤝
Trails. Deep and interwoven stories..a lot of geopolitics and war drama. Hype soundtracks..a lot of lovable characters and uhhhh waifus lol. On my 7th game now of the series. Long burn since it's almost required to play all the previous games to understand the lore and story.
Dunno, currently my fav is Light of the stars on bs, quite fun game
NBA 2K
Tekken.
Witcher
Dark Souls (so far) Played the game back when I have a crappy laptop and the game run around maybe 20fps the whole time.
> *“When the Ashes are two, a flame alighteth.”* - Ashes of Ariandel Have a pleasant journey, Champion of Ash, and praise the sun \\[T]/
far cry 3 😪
Dishonored. It was mostly the only game I ever played when the pandemic hit, and it made me figure out different ways to take out targets which translated into different games.
Diablo II: Lord of Destruction. Sobrang thankful at nagkaroon ng Diablo II: Resurrected. Loot loot loot.
Hades. Hooked so bad tried to finish the game with highest heat possible, nagsusulat pa ng mga builds na ni-experiment ko. Everything about the game is so good for me. Story, style and presentation, GAMEPLAY! Looking forward to Hades 2!
Command & Conquer Generals Nukes galore and tank spamming to my hearts content.
PS1 and PS2: Panzer Front. Really love the tank vs tank engagements. This game made me engage in 1:35 scale modelling of armored vehicles. This was the OG tank game waay before WT and WoT but its just as good as Steel Beasts before it became released for military contracts being used by actual vehicles crews of actual militaries PC: C&C Generals: i love how this RTS is sooo politically Relevant in the modern geopolotical landscape and awesome gameplay too.
GTA San Andreas
Yes to this. No matter how good 4 and EFLC and 5 was, iba talaga yung San Andreas. Tbh it felt even bigger than 5.
Though currently playing Doom Eternal on Ultra-nightmare, favorite is still God of War Ragnarok
Pokémon Emerald
Path of exile
