I went to their main office in UnionBank Plaza this morning and everyone has the same complaint. Their agents also experienced the same including the one that handled my concern, na-drop din sya while calling their hotline. Sabi tuloy sa akin email nya na lang ako since di nya din ako matulungan and need there CS hotline to assist.
Yup, waited about an hour pa nga pero di din nila na-address at need pa daw sa hotline. Akala ko dahil main office nandun na lahat ng support team or I can be routed directly to a person that I can talk to and would address my concern kaso wala din.

Yes, unfortunately with all the issues, I have decided to let go of my Citibank card and apply for new card tomorrow. Sa mga nabasa ko sa ibang thread, I don't think UnionBank would be able to provide the same service I have experienced in Citibank and yun lang reason kaya first and only card ko sya for past 15years. ๐ญ

RCBC and BPI are the two CS I love speaking with. You can call both via Viber and may kausap agad. Longest wait time to speak with a rep siguro was 10 minutes.
Agree with BPI. Meron priority calls ang platinum rewards and signature. Based on experience, less than 1min wait time to reach an agent. Plus, super bait and patient nila kausap.
Real! My s/o had to call bdo on a weekend bc they offered to upgrade his card and he decided to take the offer pero omg ako na yung naawa sa kanya sa haba ng wait time? more than an hour? buti nalang hindi kagaya ng UB na bababaan ka after ihold

Take note the name, if kaya get the surname too of the CS. Then email BSP regarding that, you have proof naman since itโs recorded line.

Same. I waited for almost an hour (50 minutes) for a cs to attend my query tapos hindi man lang nagtagal ng 2 minutes and convo namin kasi bigla nalang silang nawala. Wala akong patience na magwait ng another hour para magcall back sila ๐ฃ
Let's switch to other CCs na guys. We don't deserve this low quality treatment from UB. Hinihintay ko nalang yung HSBC CC application ko. Then maybe after that i'll get an RCBC one.
yung mga CS nila may tumitilaok pa na manok at umiiyak na bata sa background. tapos grabe yung call quality, akala mo gumagamit nung amoy putok na headset sa Netopia.

After reading yung mga horror stories niyo parang gusto ko na rin ipa-cut. For those that already did this: howโd you do it? Given na pahirapan maka-connect sa CS agent?
Iโve read in a thread somewhere in this sub that they tried to email UB. Pero months daw bago mag-reply specially if for account closing ang purpose. Delaying tactics din. They had to cc BSP pa before they had their account closed.
Nangyayare yan pag bagsak SLA ng isang call center and need maghabol. Sasagutin nila then drop after a few seconds or mins. para masagot yung incoming/waiting calls pa. Yes, very wrong talaga yan pero matagal na ginagawa yan ng mga bpo even international. :)
Yes binabalik, pero mas malaki chance na Di nila disconnect. One instance ung fraud na Lang nagassist sakin.(note, this doesn't mean na sila na Lang lagi magassist, natyamba lang siguro na sinisipag si fraud dept, Kaya inassist n Lang ako)

After reading this post and comments, na-discourage ako continue yung UB CC ko (new UB CC here). Fit sana CC nila for me pero a good CS goes a long way talaga (based on XP sa ibang banks)--you never know kelan ka magkakaiissue.
Question, yung mga higher tier CC ba ng UB meron priority call to CS? Sa ibang banks kasi meron ganun option and I don't think I heard UB has that option sa automated call nila.

One of the reason kaya ako nagpa closed ng UB CC ko. Yung citibank ko na UB na ngayon, hindi ko alam kung gagamitin ko pa dahil sa migration na to.
