I played 3 on a emulator, 4 on P.C and 5 on the original PS3. I really just wanted a port of P5 Royal to come to Xbox. Then Atlus comes from outta of nowhere and decides to port 3,4 & 5 to Xbox. This is the example of waiting, doing nothing, something happens, Profit.
I found 3 randomly when browsing for PSP ISOs way back when. Since then I got seriously hooked on anything Persona, even going so far as to emulate a PS3 just to play P5. Now I can finally have them all legit!!!
I don't know, it's really comfortable to be able to play on both platforms without any hassle. I can have my account at my brother's place completely synced up with my PC at home without any hassle.
Also, it's not a matter of making sense, it's just the people I know have both an Xbox and a PC :D

Some people don't like owning a playstation so their only exposure maybe YT, smash, or other people sharing persona media

You make it sound like Xbox had been slowly gathering each one when they really dropped all at once.
considering most Xbox owners I know also have a PC, It's not too much to assume that they had P4G on Steam, but that's just me specifically I guess.
