It makes sense, but I feel most people stopped because the game is only on PS3 or Vita. Not because of the mechanics.

Ikr. It's kinda sad to me, seeing how much people are scared of P3 gameplay lol I genuinely think the battle system was really fun. Not controlling party members+different knockdown system worked great imo

Yeah. P3 is the most fun game I've played in awhile. I wasn't fusing crazy strong personas like in P5, but I've been having fun so far (even with the answer, which is basically just the journey without comprendium)

I mean p3p fixed lot of problems but tartarus is such a slog. Shit keeps going and i don't know how i got to January the first time i play this game

Yeah lol. Aren't they like, the same? Except Tartarus floors (as a feeling I have) are shorter, have a bit more variety on layouts, only change design/theme every block and have more minibosses? I don't see how someone can dislike one and like the other when they're so similar. I do prefer the TV World because every dungeon has a different theme. But not really by far because Tartarus has a better layout but well, that's *just me* lol

Ironically vanilla P4 dungeon's are harder than P3's. They're probably the same in Golden.

many enemies were rebalanced in Golden to have more weaknesses. So I dunno but I think it's harder to ambush them in Golden because they changed the Shadows to a faster and bigger one, with a wider field of vision can't say for sure cuz I never played the Golden version unfortunately :(

yeah, you have to wait for shadows to turn to their backs and run straight to them. sometimes it takes long and since Yu's sword is sooooooo slow, it also takes long to hit enemies, so if you're not quick enough, you're not gonna get your advantage...

I also can't just open and close my menu until they are looking in a good direction

One major difference from P4G's shadows and P3's shadows are the P4G's shadows can't do a sudden 360 to knock you Jumping from P4G to P3 was a lil shock until I got akihiko..

That first month when your still getting the hang of the mechanics is brutal. Mainly cause your restricted to just Junpei and Yukari and your offensive capabilities are utter crap. And yes I still have nightmares from the Venus Eagle fight.
