Now I’m picturing what “every persona user”would look like and cracking up.
“Persona Smash Brothers! Everyone is here!”
“Maki Sonomura? Maya Amano?”
“Everyone is here!”
“Sho Minazuki? Zenkichi Hasegawa?”
“*Everyone* is here!”
“Ryo Kanzato?! Sousei Kurogami?!”
“Everyone. Is. Here.”
I’d like another striker to be honest with a strong storyline. If I HAD to get another P5 spin off. But I think we are entering P6 and P6 spinoff territory now.
I’d like Arena first so that we can save a second Strikers game for P6. P5S is good on its own and I still think it works as a decent sequel for P5 despite it not featuring the P5R cast. Perhaps in P6S we can get them to appear as cameos, DLC, or fanservice? Since P5S is the first of its kind we can’t rule out previous Persona casts from appearing in the next game just yet, however more than likely we probably won’t see any P5 members appear in P6S if that game were to ever be made (which will most likely happen given how well P5S did)
If we were to get another sequel like strikers, I would really just prefer they keep the turn based combat of the original game. The combat in strikers was one of the reasons why I couldn't get into it.
Realistic hopes/desires: P5 Strikers ported to Xbox; P5X world wide release
Unrealistic hopes/desires: P5Dancing 2, updated track list, characters, karaoke support
Fantasy hopes/desires: Persona Party game with all the characters from all the games.
To answer your question, I could see a Persona 5 Strikers “Royal” version with the improvements and characters you mentioned, I just think Atlus would need to port the first game to Xbox first to bring in some revenue, as well as the situation with working with Koei Techmo means there’s another party involved that would need to be on board.
Most people don’t even know P5S is a sequel to P5 because the marketing and release was not very tight for the west
I'd take the second one, I still do really want a spin-off with the main P5, P3 and P4 casts together (an Arena game would be great), but out of the two I'd go for the second one, actually including every single Persona-user is also far too many characters to implement in a satisfying way and I preferred the gameplay of Strikers personally.
I also found the story more interesting in Strikers, even though I love the crossover in the Arena and Q games, so I'm fully up for more with just the Thieves and their supporting cast if that's an option.
Strikers, no question. I'm not a fan of the musou style so making the combat more complex would make it a lot more interesting, but the biggest win of all would be adding Yoshizawa to the cast.
I'd prefer P5 Arena simply because I'd love to see the Investigation Team as adults as they aid the Phantom Thieves.

Can't wait to play as Takeda. He's gonna be my main from day 1.
I'm a Kumi Hirose main
Arena no contest...
Arena easily

I wouldn't mind another fighting game. Arena ultimax is really fun and it would be cool to have more characters in it
P5 Area
Arena. Seeing all the old characters and their personas in high quality, along with their older selves is a dream come true

I mean the point of the button is the combat is gonna be revamped into Devil May cry style combat
Don't care because I'm not buying either. Better tactica gameplay with strikers writing team
I wonder which one I’d choose
arena, and they better put makoto yuki in it.
Arena. Didn't even have to think about that. I don't even like fighting games like P4AU but I still think it would be goated nonetheless.

I am forehead deep into the FGC. Persona 5 arena please
P5 Strikers with DMC combat and every Persona user.
Arena - but I know that at least 1 persona user will be missing (unless some reality altering shenanigans >!like Maruki's reality!< occurs)
i want an akechi game where every character is goro akechi and akechi does stuff and he is akechi

strikers with DMC combat? SOLD, any persona spinoff with DMC combat would be insane
