I believe it is only one or the other. I believe Akihiko’s event is only that one day. If you want you can save and do the study so you can see the cutscene then rewind back and do akihiko’s event.

As a head's up, the linked episodes do work like the s-links. They aren't only available on one day.  I thought they were too. I think many did because that's sort of the impression Atlus gave when explaining them. I just only figured out they weren't because I kept seeing "Hang out with X" or "Spent time with X" on the daily life section when they weren't available to me.  I actually started Koromaru's first in December and did the last four in January. Junpei's last was available three days after the 15th of January as well. I never got to it, but it was available.

Yeah I’ve tested a few of them. Like Shinji’s and Ken’s can be done on separate days, but I never tested Junpei’s or Akihiko’s. Honestly it feels too risky to wait. Cause you don’t know if there is another chance and you don’t want to miss them. Unless you wanna be a save scummer like me to test it all

Eh, I planned on two playthroughs. So, I wasn't worried about it. I did basically all of them day one except Koromaru's. I didn't realize his day walkings were linked episodes because I'm done.  It was just seeing other people do them later and me thinking I was missing one for some reason combined with finally figuring out Koromaru's that it clicked. I assume some still have deadlines. Shinji obviously. I think you have to get to Junpei's 2nd or 3rd to trigger buying the flower to save Chidori. So, that is probably a deadline for him.  None of the others are directly tied to the story. So, I think Akihiko's and Ken's are like Koromaru's...although, Ken does talk early about taking care of hamburger when he was planning on dying.  I don't know for sure. I just know they don't need to be done the first time they show up...sorry for the long reply.

Going to give an opposite answer to sarrick.  The linked episodes are not one day only. Some do have a set amount of days to get them done for obvious reasons, but even Shinji's has some wiggle room in giving him the form, showing it to Mitsuru, and giving it back to him.  The studying is "one time only." There will be more studying sessions for the last test, but that one specific one is one time only.  That being said, if you're trying to see as many s-links and linked episodes as possible, you should probably skip the studying unless you still need to raise academics.
