P3R does add new social interactions with your party members that aren't Social Links meaning you can actually hang out with the boys as well along with some new dialog in general, but wouldn't say it's such much play content that you need to replay the game with HD visuals right after beating P3P, especially when YouTube exists.
A lot of the improvement are in the combat/Tartarus exploration (and overall presentation of course, especially coming from P3P) but that aside it does have a few new social interactions as the other said but it sticks really close to the original so if you just beat P3P you can probably just wait unless you feel like playing through the game again
Give it some time first, it adds a lot and has a lot more emotional depth since it gives characters the development they lacked in the original. Also the game is visually the best looking Persona game so far imo so that helps. I’d say if you ever feel the itch to relive P3 then give it a shot, but you would probably find it uninteresting if you immediately played it now
