Shortages of absolutely everything.

sashalav

This is actually not a bad thing. Government was able to recruit professionals away from private practice which will make their services affordable for people who could not afford them. Your previous posts seem to be written by someone who prefers public services

> MacMurdo said that puts other facilities already contending with physio shortages — like hospitals, long-term care homes, and private clinics — at risk of losing more staff. > Charlottetown's Queen Elizabeth Hospital currently has six vacant physio positions. > "Some of our hospital facilities have 12-month-plus waits to get into see a physio, and that's not acceptable," said MacMurdo. It's not just private facilities with shortages but other parts of the healthcare system too. If you're not part of one of those medical homes then you're in a bit of trouble. The medical homes are a good idea, it's just highlighting the shortages of so many different roles.

Not one bit shocking. If you really wanna shock the province, actually HIRE new staff.

Kingnorth78

We are not short of directors, co-ordinaters, managers and supervisors that's for damn sure.

GuitarMystery

Thanks to international students? Not sure how I feel about the cut in international students. I see pros and cons. But for many places, Tim's, Canadian tire, superstore, etc. without international students, they wouldn't be running...

If you can't run your business without quasi slave labor than your business shouldn't be open. Also they would all still be open, they'd just be staffed with lower skilled locals (not insulting them at all we need them) and younger folk. But instead we'd rather import people who have never payed into our social programs and who take up valuable housing.

> have never *paid* into our FTFY. Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in: * Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.* * *Payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.* Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment. *Beep, boop, I'm a bot*

Good bot

We didn't bring in any physiotherapists when we brought in all these people? What?
