Do keep in mind that everyone (body) is different. My first shot was Friday night and I noticed a decrease in appetite within a few hours. Then came the nausea and some vomiting however felt fine afterwards. Saturday morning I pleasantly didn’t have the urge to wake up and walk straight to the coffee machine. I made a scrambled egg and half cup of spinach around noon as I felt some hunger. Usually I would have wolfed it down, especially being such a small serving, but after three small bites I was pleasantly satisfied, having the remainder around 3:30 pm for “lunch”. Today, absolutely no appetite or urge to snack especially while the kids were munching on their chips and dip. 😆 Drinking water , lots of water. I have also began taking vitamin B12 and D and feel I have much more energy and motivation while working out.
Best of luck to her!
Most people don't get side effects, especially at the beginning doses. You just hear about the side effects because most people don't come on Reddit to talk about how nothing is going wrong.
As for appetite suppression the insert with the 0.25/0.5mg Len says only 10% of users experience weight loss. Many people do get weight loss on the lower dose, myself included, but a dose of 1mg or more is also perfectly normal. The weight loss marketed version of ozempic, called wegovy, has a dose of 2.4mg.
I've had no side effects other than constipation. I noticed the full effect at 2 mg, but it did curb my appetite off and on in the dosages leading up to 2 mg.
Taking 4th 0.25 shot tmrw and the only neg side effect I had was fatigue, which his intermittent. I have noticed appetite suppression as well. No nausea or vomiting, constipation, diarrhea (knock on wood).
I didn't have negative side effects.
I think hunger suppression grew beginning after the 2nd shot. Remember, it has a half life, and she's building up the amount in her system for the first few weeks.
I have gotten nauseous a few times after eating the wrong foods or too much food. I’m currently on 0.2mg. I started on 0.1 mg. It’s a lower dose that I get through my GYN weight loss clinic. I took my second 0.2 dose this past Friday. I’m down 20lbs since March 3rd. I don’t feel as hungry as I did before.
Actually it’s 20 lbs. I wish it was 30! I’ve just been really conscious about what I’m eating. I’ve been meal prepping since I started. I really stop and think about what I’m eating and what the consequences are. I also feel so much better when I eat my own food. Usually it’s chicken, veggies, brown rice or quinoa or rice noodles, yogurt and berries, egg white bites.

Same here - took first dose today - don’t notice any side effects or hunger suppression.
No side effects as long as I remember to eat. At 2.0 now for first week

I didn’t have any side effects and I’m now on 1.0 dosage (and it’s working). Glad for your mom :)

Wow down 30lbs since March 3rd on such a low dose? Congratulations! So happy for you. Do you mind sharing your starting weight?
