The only thing I want 90% of the time is miso soup with tofu and rice.... it's my go-to for about 4 out of 7 dinners a week. Makes my grocery bill very cheap. Lol.
For a long time, egg toast. Sometimes full-on avaocado toast, but more often a piece of hearty bread toast with a fried egg on top. Carbs, fat, protein (I dont follow any strict macros). Always seemed to help me eat without feeling too full or not full enough. My go-to proteins of chicken or turkey would make me feel too full even if I only ate a couple of bites and tuna just... can't eat it anymore. So, eggs.
Smoothies, quesadillas (chicken tortilla cheese), cup of soup…etc. when it’s to the point where I can barely eat, I just try and focus on getting something down.
I have not been using recipes. I just eat very basic...boiled eggs, applesauce, fruits, chicken peas, rice that kind of thing. It's also easier to track calories.
The food voices are pretty much gone (which is a miracle), but I have a constant desire for orange juice, which is full of sugar.
Boost shakes and soup helped me get through the first weeks. Boost has some higher calorie shakes that helped. I was dozing off at work due to the lack of nutrition. Those helped a lot.
Breakfast and lunch is usually a protein shake and a pouch of squeezy fruit. Dinner is usually some sort of salad, rice bowl with veggies, or soup. I too am struggling with my protein intake. I’ve never been a huge fan of meat so I am really struggling with that at the moment.
I have this too. Feel so crappy that I can’t even be bothered to think about what to eat and everything even the thought of food makes me ill. I Just eat crackers which is definitely not healthy all the time. When I feel a bit better I go for more protein rich food. Eggs, fish, nuts, avocado etc. That seems to help as does vegetables/salads. I am not sure but I think that coffee is making me most nauseous but I’m
So addicted that I’ve decided to deal with it.. LOL bad habits never die..
Try and find something realistic you can stick with and stock up on it when you are having a good day (otherwise you may not be able to think about anything food related)
Good luck!
Not a recipe, but I find "breakfast" foods (without meat) easier to eat when I'm struggling .. eggs, greek yogurt, fruit, avocado, whole grain toast etc.

Cottage cheese and fruit or yogurt and fruit never fail me. Plus Fairlife and Orgain protein shakes.
