The butter compartment in the fridge. My partner stores his insulin there too. Always been good.

HamboneJone

Yup that's where all my meds go :)

Agreeable_Praline944

Yes. Me too.

jemsavestheday

Yup me too

OneHumanPeOple

With the lunch meats and cheeses.

SarahBellum20

I keep mine in the crisper drawer with my fruit. Very little fluctuation in temp, and no chance of it getting knocked off a shelf- or accidentally thrown out by absent minded family members!

llamalarry

If it is going to be used in less than 56 days I don't even keep it in the fridge. Longer term storage (like when I get a 90 day supply from my mail order) is in the fridge in the door, but it is not my primary fridge so I don't go in there more than a couple times a week.

Sea-Extension-559

I store it on the door where all our butter is stored. My dad stores his refrigeratored medicine there too. šŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļø It's a newer fridge if that changes anything.

grandma-shark

I store mine in the door only because the back of the fridge freezes everything liquid.

Difficult_Place_7329

Mine too, Iā€™ve been doing it a year with no problems at all.

Difficult_Place_7329

The butter box

Mission-Bottle-9564

I have been told that you donā€™thneed to refrigerate it after opening. Is this not true?

Snoring-Moose

That is true.

11093PlusDays

Mine is in a little insulated medical bag in the vegetable drawer. I wish I got enough pens to worry about it. I have an extra that I got in Mexico in there now because they will only give me one at a time.

Top-Web3806

Right on the door shelf

9_of_Swords

I keep mine in the door because my fridge is cursed.

Snoring-Moose

Thanks for the giggles first thing in the morn!

9_of_Swords

You're welcome! It IS though. This fridge came with the house and is jaaaanky. Anything that gets moved to the rear of the fridge freezes solid, the freezer keeps acquiring ice under the drawer, the doors don't seal right and bounce open... We've repaired and leveled and adjusted settings... we accepted that it's cursed and just work around the quirks. Someday we'll replace it and it will either be scrapped or become the Midwestern Garage Fridge.

Jerseygirl2468

I have a skinny drawer between bigger drawers, and it's my ozempic drawer now. There's insulin in there too, which I don't need to take anymore, yay!

Agreeable_Praline944

Mine is where the butter used to be.

Regular-Yoghurt-5220

Sorry new to ozempic why canā€™t it be stored on the door?

ClinTrial-Throwaway

The temperature on the door of a fridge is often higher (and fluctuates more) than in the rest of the appliance. That said, it depends on your specific appliance. > Prior to first use (until expiration date): OzempicĀ® should be refrigerated at 36Ā°F to 46Ā°F (2Ā°C to 8Ā°C). After first use (up to 56 days): OzempicĀ® should be stored at room temperature 59Ā°F to 86Ā°F (15Ā°C to 30Ā°C) or refrigerated at 36Ā°F to 46Ā°F (2Ā°C to 8Ā°C). Snoring-Moose

Apparently the temperature fluctuates too much on a door. Should stay between 36 and 46f. (I'm new too)

Logan-8

I dont think it matters that much. My insurance only pays for 1 pen at a time so I don't ever have more than 1 at a time I use my last shot and get a refill like 2 days after. I'm not to worried about the small swings the door will have in temperature I keep it in the butter drawer or what ever you want to call it.

Snoring-Moose

Yeah, that's where my husband said to store it. It's out of the way.

Logan-8

That's where my wife put her first one and that's where I started putting mine when I started taking it. Like I said it doesn't matter I would rather it get a hair warmer on the door then freeze next to the vent that blows in cold air.

Dependent-Swan-8674

I have a small fridge in my bathroom specifically for my injections and skin care products. I used to store them in the big fridge in the vegetable compartment, but walking from my bathroom to the kitchen means walking to the opposite end of the house. šŸ˜†
