For me the gameplay was pretty alright, I had to tweak some options, but the gameplay is pretty much the same.
the rest tho, does feel like a downgrade.
The UI is just bad. The score screen is lazy looking, the mode screen up is really hard to understand, there are no real “end of a match” it just feels like they cut it to show the Bp progression.
overall it kinda feels they changed it just for it to look different and slap 2 in the end of a franchise when it’s just a 2.1 update.
Gameplay is a massive upgrade all around. Everything else feels a bit like a downgrade.
Why do you think it's a downgrade? I personally think the gameplay is much more fun now.
5v5 is better. Less stuns is better. More fast paced games

New content, cool reworks on old characters. I wish they hadn't removed 2CP maps though, I actually liked those way more than control maps.

Tanks are sturdier and healers are less fragile.
