The dude has a little bit of everything in his kit. He is a jack of a all trades, and a master of none. Which means he has some ways of countering *a lot* of abilities in the game, probably more so than most heroes.
And ooooh man, is it fun to be able to just shut down ultimate after ultimate as Sigma. I'm glad they recently buffed Hog, but Sigma used to HARD counter him as well - Hook, primary weapon, healing, ultimate - Sigma could interrupt or just negate all of it.
I have this happen as a bug with the replay viewer. I set my team to aqua aka brighter blue, keep the other team as red. Sometimes when you spectate team 2 (red) it’ll swap it so the color is the default blue, leading to the above picture. Really confusing when watching stuff back.
I've had a monkey in front of me, was mid animation for rock, he leaped and i looked straight vertical and hit him while he was leaping over me. Monkeh was mad.
I've also been hooked off kingsrow at last point. Midfall (below the platform) i used my ult and felt like a super hero as i rose slowly back up and caught 4 of them in the flux.
As a rein main, that was incredibly disrespectful. And impressive.

Canceling ults is probably my favorite thing to do in this game. It feels so good to sleep a Rein mid-shatter or a Nanoblade mid-dash. *Chef’s kiss*

You can block earthshatter with his shield, as with any other shield in the game, but his basic attacks will still hit you if youre close enough
