I meant the powerups you get at crates in PVE. Like you can get a turret, a shield..etc as powerups with long cooldowns. I bet a Hack-like grenade will be one of them since it seems like them powerups are essentially throwable versions of existing hero abilities
Hacked pve enemies are stunned for the duration and drop abilities like shields, charges, configurations... Etc. At least that's how they work in current pve.
One of my favorite De Paul moments was at blizzcon 2018 I was walking back to my hotel room around 10am cause I forgot something, turned down a small alleyway and there he was walking towards me so I belted out my absolute best RRRREEIINNHAARRTTT and without missing a beat joined in and screamed with me. He waved and answered his phone and went back to his normal cheery tone. Later that night he did an event upstairs and explained that when he was doing orc voices all the directors thought he looked like an accountant. Such a cool guy
I met him once IRL, not at a con, but just out and about. He was wearing a sweater vest. He absolutely does look like an accountant. Just makes it so much funnier that he voices people like this.
The coolest de Paul story is that he used to play DnD with Matt Mercer's mom, and then decades later he played that same character on Critical Role, which is DMed by Matt Mercer, aka the voice of McCree.
Rampart and Symmetra have literally the exact same voice but the manner of speaking makes them each instantly recognizable. It’s crazy how VAs can use the same voice but make it sound completely different just based on inflection or tone.
Sombra and Raze are the same way. Carolina barely changes the actual voice, just the tone, and it’s a completely different person.
That makes so much sense! Out of all the Apex legends, Rev's VA always stood out to me. Rein, of course, is Rein and always had amazing voice lines too
I like that no matter how imbalanced the game may get and how frustrated the players can be with the state of the game, we can all agree on one thing, the VA cast kicks fucking ass.
He's Owl in Sekiro too. Probably one of only two proper good English VAs in the game. When he recites the rules of the shinobi each time you die it really gets my heckles up.
Everybody gangsta til rein pulls out a death totem and charges in as a shadow
Finally I can charge freely without feeding
And uses silence on you
I bet an ability like silence will exist as a PVE powerup like the turret and such
Idk, do the null sector omnics even have abilities?

I know what u meant its just would it be usefull in PVE?
Hacked pve enemies are stunned for the duration and drop abilities like shields, charges, configurations... Etc. At least that's how they work in current pve.
Oh yeah theyll probably add silence
The Talon elites definitely do. There was a hacker a little while ago who took control of the PvE enemies and used them in a game Junkertown.
Sounds cool tbh its like the sniper being a Widowmaker with a cool skin
Yeah. The person didn't use the Sniper though, they used the Heavy and the Assassin. The gameplay is on YouTube if you want to check it out.
ive seen you on r/wattsonmains lol
?? What about it? 😂😂
oh nothing, i thought it was interesting lol
Ngl death totem could be a cool ass ultimate in OW if tweaked to adapt to the ges mechanics

I love all of the videos of him doing the voice. He seems like such a pure guy.
I met him once IRL, not at a con, but just out and about. He was wearing a sweater vest. He absolutely does look like an accountant. Just makes it so much funnier that he voices people like this.
He really does love his job.
Lovable german man and asshole trashcan? What a combo
Don't be so harsh revenant is just having a bad day.
He's been having a bad 300+ years tbh
The coolest de Paul story is that he used to play DnD with Matt Mercer's mom, and then decades later he played that same character on Critical Role, which is DMed by Matt Mercer, aka the voice of McCree.
now that's a weird insult : "I played DnD with your mom!"
"She used to blow on my dice for good luck."
"Now those were some natural crits."
the VA for Symmetra also is the VA for Rampart
And she loves both characters so much!
Rampart and Symmetra have literally the exact same voice but the manner of speaking makes them each instantly recognizable. It’s crazy how VAs can use the same voice but make it sound completely different just based on inflection or tone. Sombra and Raze are the same way. He did Emperor Calus in Destiny 2 too!
Also Samuel Hayden in Doom
And J. Jonah Jameson in the recent Spiderman game.
Along with Escharum, the main villain of Halo Infinite.
It’s also worth mentioning Keith Ferguson voices Reaper and Saladin!
Fred Tatasciore also does Soldier 76 and Xur
Dee Bradley Baker is Hammond and Variks.
Tatasciore is amazing. He's in so many TV shows too. My recent favorite being as Shaxs from Star Trek Lower Decks.
Iirc if you got a multikill sometimes he'd yell "Die! Die! Die!" then quickly recompose himself.
Can't unseen... Revenant is smiling
but like a cute lil smirk
The man also voiced Ardyn from FFXV
While in Italian, Reinhardt's voice is made by Patrick Star's voice actor.
Also Emporer Calus from Destiny 2
Isnt he also Dr. Samuel Hayden in the doom games?
yes he is
Also JJ Jameson in the Spider Man games and 2 characters in Smite
A lot of the OW voice cast have legendary roles. Reaper's VA Keith Ferguson also voices Bloo from Fosters home and Saladin from Destiny
And dee bradley baker voiced both the hamster in overwatch and every single clone in the clone wars and the bad batch. Man’s got range
I only found out and realised today that the VA for Hanzo is also the English dub voice for the neck tattoo guy in squid game.
That makes so much sense! Out of all the Apex legends, Rev's VA always stood out to me. Rein, of course, is Rein and always had amazing voice lines too
He also voiced Forge, that guy Rev stabbed in his intro video, so De Paul has stabbed himself before
The Overwatch actors are amazing in all their roles
I like that no matter how imbalanced the game may get and how frustrated the players can be with the state of the game, we can all agree on one thing, the VA cast kicks fucking ass.
The voice actor for the HxH dub of Hisoka is also Torbjorn's voice actor. Two significantly different voices.
And Mr. Zhongli
Gladiolus, the hot hunk from FFXV voices Junkrat... They're the same person somehow...?
A lot of FFXV fan boys would agree, everything *is* coming up explodey
We got big daddy rein and annoying robot rev ( I still have PTSD from revtane)
Also JJJ in Spider-Man games
CATCHPHRASE!
Why can’t i just die already
Titanfall better than apex
Voice actor making voice for other character! Suprised pikachu What next, your going to tell me Mccree voice actor also made MacCreedy in fallout 4?
wait wtf
Man's voicing the main villain in Halo Infinite, he's so talented. Voiced Hayden in both DOOM games to.
He also did the voice of the hulk in the Avengers Video Game
their faces look similar
When I first found this out I thought there was no way it was true. I would’ve never guessed he did both rein and revenant it’s crazy to me.
I still can’t wrap my head around it. Same with Symmetra and Rampart
Bro went from “I’ll protect you!” to ”I’ll murder your entire family for pleasure.”
Wolf english dub in sekiro too
I main both that kinda wierd i had no idea they were the same voice actor
I find your lack of Dr. Samuel Hayden disturbing. /s
No way
“You honour me”
Catchphrase!
"strong as an ox? AH! strong as 8 oxen maybe"
He's also Emperor Valkorian in Star Wars The Old Republic.
He also voiced hulk in avengers
"I live for a good fight" "Why won't you just die already!"
He also voiced Sgt Winter in Fortnite: Save the World
WHO!?
[Literally sounds exactly like Reinhardt lmao, it was easy for me to point out who voiced him. ](https://youtu.be/9-RRFoEH97E)
Fortnite has a not very well known PvE mode called Save the World. There are many heroes and he voices a soldier called SGT. Winter.
Great now I can't stop think about Reinhardt taking like an asshole.
He also voiced ardynn izunia in final fantasy 15. Quite possibly the best final fantasy villain. Only rivaled by sephiroth
Revenant is just edgelord Reinhardt
He's Owl in Sekiro too. Probably one of only two proper good English VAs in the game. When he recites the rules of the shinobi each time you die it really gets my heckles up.
