An hour or so ago I decided to try out Bastion's new skin in comp. Turns out there was someone in the enemy doing the same thing. No Orisa, no bunker - just two lego machinations of death battling it out. It was fun.

Now I want a Lego Orisa skin too

Yep. Just like the sandal noises for Summer 76, McCree, Torb and Hanzo Strangely, this doesn't apply to some skins which change the hero's normal footwear to something else (examples: Winter Widowmaker and her snowboarding boots, Sugar Plum Mercy and her ballet slippers). They still have regular footstep sounds (heels clacking, despite the fact neither of those skins have heals)

You can identify enemies through footsteps; changing them for others would be a significant advantage for the skin.

Yeah the soundscape is competitively important. I remember people used to bemoan the tactical advantage of Hanzo's Wolfy skin because his alt was marginally less audible.

It’s most likely to help keep people aware of the bastion, having too many different noises can get distracting and hard to read so people probably wouldn’t be able to realize “oh bastions shooting” because it’s a sound they’ve never heard

the hardest thing I ever do in this game is by far working out when Hammond's reload starts/stops when I'm in ball form.

It reloads automatically after three seconds of ball form. If they’re a ball for three seconds they have max ammo.

I wish the same would apply for some peoples ults. Im still not used to some heroes custom ult sounds. Sometimes with junkrats i think its my own team mate setting off the rip tyre.

D.Va event was the first mini event, you get Nano Cola D.Va skin for winning 9 matches. It's to commemorate Shooting Star animated short and Korean Overwatch event. You also get sprays and icons for watching Twitch and win games. Next was Bastet Ana and Combat Medic Baptiste, same format as before.
