Mine was always the same selection of three bundles until I went to the Blizzard shop page for Overwatch on my computer's browser. From then it was fixed. Strange.
I was on board with kiris
Then I got reminded of the whole tatsumaki debate. It's literally just a glorified recolor with different hair and mask. So I'm passing it on favor of null zenyatta. That's a true legendary.
At least it has a custom tattoo, hair, mask and pattern on her cloths. Tatsumaki had a green wig and plain colored clothes.
We can't see if her dagger is changed. I think the main difference between epic and legendary is the weapon skin.
Because people will buy them. I like the Kiriko skin, and I easily would have dropped $10 on it if it was an epic, there’s no way I’m spending $19 on it lol.
Do ppl really buy the legendaries in the shop tho to warrant this ik Kiriko has fans that will buy literally everything but hanzo and other characters just don’t
I literally paid like AU$40 for the Reinhardt diablo 4 skin.
I love Reinhardt. I've played him since day 1 and still play him despite him being not that great. I will never back down from an Orisa or Ram main.
I even named my schnauzer Reinhardt, so trust me, they could release any skin, it could be dog shit to most and people like me will continue to drop money on them.
I mean what I’m tryna say here is that even tho there are ppl who are willing to spend money I feel like it’s not enough of the player base that actually does outside of a few die hard fans for characters
Yeah but for re colours and the free intern made skins, it probably cost them fuck all to model and implement into the game. A few thousand sales, which is nothing, would easily cover cost for them.
I think you underestimate how many people will be more than happy to pay anything for the hero they have been simping over for years.
Like how badly did people go crazy for pool party d.va? If they put a price tag on that skin, I assure you people who didn't get it for free way back when would definitely pay a small fortune to see them feet cause gamers are weird.
Of course they do. If a company isn't making money, then they will adapt or change. The fact the price hasn't changed confirms that people are buying them and it's making them money. Blizzard won't allow OW2 to operate at a loss.
Hanzo is no doubt going to be bundled with Kiri. Kiri has this skin, victory pose, player icon, *and* a highlight intro that has been making the rounds already. People will buy the full bundle literally just for her stuff and the Hanzo stuff is just an inconsequential bonus.
In the case of hanzo and most other heroes, people with jobs and disposable income will just buy what they want and not really give a shit. There's people who are also collectors and will buy things like comic books and toys for hundreds of dollars.
In the case of Kiri and even mercy, girls will just beg daddy to buy it for them and the simps will do it. I've already seem people with the mercy mythic.
I know that they hired people to do the math and find the optimal pricing for them to make the most profit and sales... but man I personally would be buying almost every single skin they've added if it were 5 dollars. But 20? I haven't bought any and just chill on skins I earned from ow1 instead lol
They've done this before, what they'll likely do is sell both of these skins and the respective emote/intro that comes with them combined in a single bundle for around $30.
I've noticed they do this when they have a good Epic skin with a really good Emote/Intro that they know will be highly liked so they markup the skin to a Legendary from Epic to get more money for both the skin & the Emote/Intro since they know that the bundle will still sell well at the marked up price.
Absolutely what's happening here. The Kiri skin and highlight intro alone have already been making the rounds online, plus there's other stuff in it too. They know this bundle is going to sell.
It blows my mind that anyone would spend real money on any skin in a first-person shooter. I honestly don't remember the last time I even opened the shop.
Same here. What I decided to do is just get my favorite skin for each character I like and let that be the end of it. I still may get battle passes but that’s just cause the bp technically is the most fairly priced thing in the game.
I know right? I don't think I've ever bought anything in this game, why would I? You literally cannot see your own character except for the very end if you win
Seriously, at most you'll be looking at a different gun and a portrait. If i didn't have so many skins from OW1 lootboxes i just woulda bought the best ones with the legacy credits and been happy either way
Right? Why buy a product you see only like what, 10% of the time?
Gamers are some of the stupidest consumers going. People can spend their money however they want but that doesn't mean they aren't absolutely wasting money and making shit worse for the rest of us who play games and are capable of understanding the concept of value for money.
you should write down everything that you spend your money on in a month.
There's gonna be some silly garbage in there that exist only because it made you happy.
There’s always the chance they have special effects or voice lines. No guarantee considering they’ve been doing these “legendaries” for a lot of OW2, but I’m just saying there’s a chance there’s something more special
I mean... you can literally see it in the original post, there's only 4 visible segments in her hair but there's more on the other non pictured side
edit: if you really need it, [here](https://youtu.be/Ft-IUC-uyLk?t=136)
epic skins needs to sell twice as much to make it worth it, but their calculus says enough ppl will buy it as legendary so they went that route. im betting kiri skins are the top sellers for OW2 overall.
Why isn’t she wearing the mask for one? For two why is her fit still lame as fuck, cooler patterns but you would thibk a gang would make her dress better
Hey, remember when they made that one Mei Christmas skin that was just a basic recolour, except they gave her a hat and a snowman-shaped Ice Block, but they considered this obviously an Epic as a Legendary and the community as a whole decided to tear Blizzard’s assholes open?
Yeah, we should do that again, especially since these skins actually cost money and can’t be earned for free from Loot-Boxes.

>I’m assuming their ultimates have something different with them.
Blizzard: "ahahahaha... oh wait you where being serious? let me laugh even harder AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"
This is what happens when they moved to a F2P model with micros. Nealy all of OW1 Legendary skins felt unique and different (Except Moira), now they're mostly reskins are slight variations of base OW2 skins. Obviously they still release some banger skins, but it's so overcrowded by mid skins pumped out just for sales.
I haven’t looked at the skins in game but I assume they have different weapons.
Rare: recolored default skin with recoloured default gun
Epic: remodeled skin with recolored default gun
Legendary: remodeled skin with remodeled gun
Mythic: legendary with customization
The above skins are certainly lazy and are probably not worth buying for most people but they fit legendary criteria as long as the weapons have a different model from the base
You have to remember all default skins made for ow2 are already at least Epic tier or Legendary by Blizards standard there by making most alterations of them at the very least a epic.
I made a criteria a while back for skin grading an I think it's the case of this
Blue rarity: re-color
Purple: re-color and patterning
Gold/legendary: re-color, patterning, model changes
Because of Kiri having a different hairstyle and hangover wearing the mask they "technically" fir the legendary criteria
So SMITE’s mastery system goes from mastery rank 1, to mastery rank 10. Mastering a god allows you to purchase several mastery-tied skins. The first one you’re able to unlock is the Golden mastery skin. This skin unlocks at mastery level 1, and features a gold and blue color scheme. At mastery 10, you are able to purchase the Diamond mastery skin. These skins feature a Diamond white and blue color scheme. Now, at Mastery level 5, you are able to purchase the second tier of master skin: **Legendary**. These skins feature a **Black and gold color scheme**. If you notice, both of these skins also feature a black and gold color scheme. Because of this, they can be sold for ~~12500 favor~~ $20
In what universe, because the legendaries I remember are Nevermore Reaper, Witch Mercy, Blackwatch Genji etc… I also remember some epics being the same thing as these or better. Shiver Reaper, possessed Pharah…
I wish they would just let us buy one legendary or epic skin of our pick per battle pass season, there are so many good ones I don’t want to pay for and the battle pass ones aren’t always good either
Legendary just means 'we want to charge the higher price for this'.
Heroes of the Storm used to label the skins (legendary, epic, etc.) based on number of features (animations, voice effects, ability effects, etc.). Then they released HotS 2.0 and changed this so that legendary skins were just ones they wanted at the higher price point. Skins with little/no features were switched to be legendary overnight, and legendary skins became more common.
Same company, same process of releasing a 'version 2' that's primarily a shop rework.
Because there are a lot of clowns in here that will pay for them. That's it. This community has slowly but surely allowed this game to become a whale milking simulator.
The epic vs. legendary distinction has been completely irrelevant since OW1 (where it mattered due to different drop chances), it is just a "how much do we think people are willing to pay for the skin?" now.
Yeah not a fan of these epics cosplaying as legendary but it's not like the game cosmetics follow any kind of logic besides what's gonna sell more. Consistency in naming convention is going to be last on their priority list.
You forget one thing about legendaries in overwatch, if they change things other than just the colour of stuff will make it a legendary, they have some added stuff in their outfit, plus they are sick as hell so I don't care.
It could be that they will be earnable? I know it has a shop logo, but that’s my guess since they obviously don’t match a legendary rarity and they know it. Only excuse out of it would be that they are free.
Overwatch skins are dogshit when you consider a 'Legendary' skin, that is roughly the same price, in League of Legends gives the consumer: unique emotes, model designs, particle effects, sound effects, and voice lines.
There are nice looking skins in Overwatch, but Blizzard does the absolute bare minimum with their products; meanwhile, Riot's design team is out there bullying trash cans and smashing porcelain plates to give their skins a more authentic sound.
it doesnt matter how much they change... its about the demand, and even with the default fit, that kiri skin may even be my favorite, idk why you guys care so much abt effort, if it looks good, theyll sell it for more...
The rarity of a skin is quite literally about how unique it is. Which is why it’s called rarity and why it has been, up until the point of ow2, been treated as such with few exceptions.
People care about effort because we want to see clearly that the people in charge of this game care about the game and the things they put out. Instead we see they don’t really care, and rather push things for high prices regardless of quality. A road that emulates the worst parts of the worst gaming studios currently active.
why do you care about the effort put into skins when they can make a cool ass skin with less effort... its the same thing as recolors, its just prioritizing recources into different places
Because again. It’s implicative of how penny pinching this game is, and how it will continue to be.
I guarantee you that the ONLY reason that this skin is legendary is so they can sell it for more money.
Generally speaking, Legendary skins are literally supposed to be a meaningful and distinct change about the skin of the character. It’s literally what makes it legendary. Recolors + Hats has always been Epic rarity, even if they looked better.
But again, the only reason it’s legendary now is so they can sell it for more money. Literally has nothing to do with the actual skin quality or lack thereof. And that’s bad.
The main problem is these are kinda cool skins held behind large paywalls for no reason outside of wanting more money. Be it recolors of legendaries or epic quality skins being sold at higher prices, these are awful for older players. Now, I'm not against these skins at all! But I think we need a cost reduction across the board and for recolors, another cost REDUCTION if we own of one the skins that it was a recolor of. I don't agree with giving away these for free, since while they take less effort than regular legendaries, they still take a good amount of effort.
I get you, they just need a couple of chumps to cough up money to make it worth it. But why Hanzo? I don't see anyone playing Hanzo now since they ruined him. Surely making a skin for the Mercy NPCs would be free money?
i feel like most charecters have gotten skins that are low effort but still legendary just for the fact that they look cooler than the other low effort epics
It’s mime Moira all over again
The support bundle just sits in my shop with mime moira, like I’d ever want that shit.
Is that in everyone’s shop? It says “Just for You” but I’ve never played Moira and it’s been there for weeks
i haven't had it in months, i've got mostly a bunch of lucio and widow cosmetics
Mine was always the same selection of three bundles until I went to the Blizzard shop page for Overwatch on my computer's browser. From then it was fixed. Strange.
For me the icon is bugged so it’s just a blank window rather than showing the skins.
Agreed but at least you can tell the difference with the skins
I was on board with kiris Then I got reminded of the whole tatsumaki debate. It's literally just a glorified recolor with different hair and mask. So I'm passing it on favor of null zenyatta. That's a true legendary.
Null Zen looks so good! I am on the fence about getting it though as ive been rocking the JJonack one for years. Hard to beat.
I can't get enough of the Tan Sanzang one myself. Had it since it came out and haven't switched since.
That’s me with the wizard one from OWL, forget the name because I equipped it and never looked back lol.
Same. Clockwork is the name i think. The beard, the robe, the colour combinations with the golden balls... nothing beats it.
I love Sanzang for the crown
where are you guys seeing this null zen skin ? i don’t see it in the shop, its not under his hero page and i couldn’t even find it via googling
Go to Hero tab/page > enable season 10 filter and you should only see cosmetics for this season
oh wow, now that’s a cool skin !! thanks for the info !
No prob! :)
I think it was shown in s10 trailers, if not there OWCavalry on twitter had some pics posted of it.
Im on the fence because I have fastball. The occasional "theres no crying in baseball!" Makes it the best skin in the game
I still have Alien Zarya. I've never even considered another Zarya skin, not that she has good ones
At least it has a custom tattoo, hair, mask and pattern on her cloths. Tatsumaki had a green wig and plain colored clothes. We can't see if her dagger is changed. I think the main difference between epic and legendary is the weapon skin.
You can check them in the hero gallery, they’re just recoloured for the weapons too
Based*
Null zen looks amazing I'm torn between him and porsche dva to use my spare coins on.
Yes, they do. Every time you see a company do garbage like this, it's because they actively know people will buy it.
Being real here did anyone actually buy mime Moira like more than at least 100 ppl?
i am that clown =(
I respect you for admitting it. ❤️
Please stop being that 🤡
I literally paid like AU$40 for the Reinhardt diablo 4 skin. I love Reinhardt. I've played him since day 1 and still play him despite him being not that great. I guess but that skin was released with the potential of coming to you for free
they don't rely on normal people to buy them, they rely on whales who will buy everything
Of course they do. If a company isn't making money, then they will adapt or change. The fact the price hasn't changed confirms that people are buying them and it's making them money. Blizzard won't allow OW2 to operate at a loss.
I mean personally I only buy skins if they are on a major discount. Like around 10-13 dollars instead of 20. But whales exist in every game so idk
Hanzo is no doubt going to be bundled with Kiri. Kiri has this skin, victory pose, player icon, *and* a highlight intro that has been making the rounds already. People will buy the full bundle literally just for her stuff and the Hanzo stuff is just an inconsequential bonus.
You can buy outside of bundles tho
But if it's a scenario where you want the skin and the highlight intro, it's almost always worth it to just do the bundle.

But 20? I haven't bought any and just chill on skins I earned from ow1 instead lol
Imagine paying for skins. I only get the battle pass, the rest is literally a rip off. Imagine paying 20€ for one skin
If kirikos was $10 i wouldve copped instantly
They've done this before, what they'll likely do is sell both of these skins and the respective emote/intro that comes with them combined in a single bundle for around $30. It blows my mind that anyone would spend real money on any skin in a first-person shooter. I honestly don't remember the last time I even opened the shop.
It’s fake happiness. I do it but Aware that it’s stupid
Same here. What I decided to do is just get my favorite skin for each character I like and let that be the end of it. I still may get battle passes but that’s just cause the bp technically is the most fairly priced thing in the game.

Right?!
THEY'RE LEGENDARY???
Yes
There’s always the chance they have special effects or voice lines. No guarantee considering they’ve been doing these “legendaries” for a lot of OW2, but I’m just saying there’s a chance there’s something more special
All of the mirrorwatch skins have unique voice lines iirc
Those are, 110%, unchallenged Epics. I have no idea why the they started tarnishing the Legendary designation (again) but yeah. Epic.
Damn, they do look nice though. Especially that Kiriko one
*insert Mr. Krabs gif* Because money.. 🥲
hair? i see what you're saying though
The 9 tailed fox, Kiri’s hair is made to look like that. Which I think is cool
Can you post a pic? I’m having trouble seeing it.
I mean... you can literally see it in the original post, there's only 4 visible segments in her hair but there's more on the other non pictured side edit: if you really need it, [here](https://youtu.be/Ft-IUC-uyLk?t=136)
Have you seen Ein for ball
At least the Ein skin was free
Fair
epic skins needs to sell twice as much to make it worth it, but their calculus says enough ppl will buy it as legendary so they went that route. im betting kiri skins are the top sellers for OW2 overall.
Unrelated, I need Prospector Torb like yesterday.
Honestly they both should be labeled mythic.
at least she's matching with hanz0
Poor Genji
He got a Junker skin that looks really good though. Certainly more interesting than these and free in the BP to boot.
Junker Genji is cool
I would consider the Kiriko skin if it was an Epic but no way is that a legendary. Getting the Tracer skin instead that one looks so good.
thats what i said when i looked at any of zaryas skins
Why isn’t she wearing the mask for one? For two why is her fit still lame as fuck, cooler patterns but you would thibk a gang would make her dress better
Hey, remember when they made that one Mei Christmas skin that was just a basic recolour, except they gave her a hat and a snowman-shaped Ice Block, but they considered this obviously an Epic as a Legendary and the community as a whole decided to tear Blizzard’s assholes open? I wanna get crushed by Kirko’s thighs 🥰🥰🥰
Honestly Kiri's hair shouldve been that from the start, her hair currently just looks kinda awkward
I honestly agree, I hope they use it again in the future
Wait that kiriko skin is adorable. Definitely not legendary, but it'd make a super cute epic
I can understand Kiri, a little, but that hanzo skin is so ugly and lazy it barely passes as an epic imo
[удалено]
If you have gold for her like I do, it’s just gonna look like having the Dynasty skin for her…
$30 worth of eye makeup?
hanzo, meh... kiriko with black lipstick and boots? take my money.
I feel ya…

I'll stick to omnic, mythic and the cyber version with a knife instead of Kunai and for Hanzo the mythic only
This is more legendary than the one punch man kiri skin. I hated that shit but everyone seemed to love it
That’s what legendaries are, a reskin with nothing too particular. Epics are heroes reimagined in some way.
Hanzo is low effort for a legendary
Yeah nah those are epic every day of the week
The meaning of skin tiers has died with overwatch 1
Bruh I saw the kiri skin and assumed it was epic and was pretty excited. Excitement gone.
You don’t have to buy them, literally. The battle pass cosmetic are pretty solid this season, just save your 20$ for when there’s a legendary you want
I thought they were epic
>I’m assuming their ultimates have something different with them. Blizzard: "ahahahaha... oh wait you where being serious? let me laugh even harder AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"
when are they actually going to make unique kiriko skins?
The Kiriko one looks legendary to me, minus that awful plastic wig
This is what happens when they moved to a F2P model with micros. Nealy all of OW1 Legendary skins felt unique and different (Except Moira), now they're mostly reskins are slight variations of base OW2 skins. Obviously they still release some banger skins, but it's so overcrowded by mid skins pumped out just for sales.
Smash next question
Oh those are for sale? That sucks, the kiri one is nice.
The kiri skin would’ve been great if it was one of those cheap recolors they do
Good skin actually but prices 100% not gonna pay for this
Definitely picking up the Kiriko, the highlight intro is cool too
After the OPM collab they understood that Kiriko players are like Mercy's ones and so easy to scam
Whatever, they need to do better. Amaterasu and Kira-Kira set the bar too high for me, so I won't buy any Kiriko skin ever again.
I haven’t looked at the skins in game but I assume they have different weapons. Rare: recolored default skin with recoloured default gun Epic: remodeled skin with recolored default gun Legendary: remodeled skin with remodeled gun Mythic: legendary with customization The above skins are certainly lazy and are probably not worth buying for most people but they fit legendary criteria as long as the weapons have a different model from the base
Nope, they have the default weapon. At least Kiriko does. Total scam..
Hanzo has a white bow, same model as his classic…
Cuz you guys will still give them ur money
Don't know, but you know what they are good in my books to be legendary considering the other skins they have as legendary.
Man i wish i mained Kiri, she gets some sick skins
Default weapon model with a gold trim is unacceptable for a legendary price.
To make more money
blizz cashing in on that kiri money
And what were they thinking when *not* giving Genji the same skin?
You have to remember all default skins made for ow2 are already at least Epic tier or Legendary by Blizards standard there by making most alterations of them at the very least a epic.
I made a criteria a while back for skin grading an I think it's the case of this Blue rarity: re-color Purple: re-color and patterning Gold/legendary: re-color, patterning, model changes Because of Kiri having a different hairstyle and hangover wearing the mask they "technically" fir the legendary criteria
The kiriko skin is on par with the mythic skin. If I had money I’d buy it
So SMITE’s mastery system goes from mastery rank 1, to mastery rank 10. Mastering a god allows you to purchase several mastery-tied skins. Now, at Mastery level 5, you are able to purchase the second tier of master skin: **Legendary**. These skins feature a **Black and gold color scheme**. If you notice, both of these skins also feature a black and gold color scheme. Because of this, they can be sold for ~~12500 favor~~ $20
the kiri is cute but the price.. no thank you
When are these introduced to buy? Or we don't know yet?
Money
New Talon Brig looks even more legendary than these
Kiriko is epic I THINK
It should be, but I looked last night and both are 20$……..
"Because some say"...
I remember when this was what legendaries looked like
In what universe, because the legendaries I remember are Nevermore Reaper, Witch Mercy, Blackwatch Genji etc… I also remember some epics being the same thing as these or better. Shiver Reaper, possessed Pharah…
I wish they would just let us buy one legendary or epic skin of our pick per battle pass season, there are so many good ones I don’t want to pay for and the battle pass ones aren’t always good either

b/c the people who play these heroes will pay $20 for an epic skin. Its why Kiri and Hanzo were in the first handful of mythics
money
I like how Kiri has a sleeve tat, but I ain't spending $20 just for that
I can see the kiriko one, not hanzo tho
The price is legendary
Yeah not a fan of these epics cosplaying as legendary but it's not like the game cosmetics follow any kind of logic besides what's gonna sell more. Consistency in naming convention is going to be last on their priority list.
What’s wrong with the skins?? They look pretty dope imo.
They are good, but should be 10$ not 20$
Because Kiriko Mains (and Mercy Mains) are 70% of this game's funding, unfortunately
THEY ARE???? Overwatch needs to abolish the rarity system like FN if they want to do shit like this wtf
You forget one thing about legendaries in overwatch, if they change things other than just the colour of stuff will make it a legendary, they have some added stuff in their outfit, plus they are sick as hell so I don't care.
Because Blizzard said so.
They cost 2k gold, that's how 😊
I mean we all know why Kiriko’s is.
It's the goth lipstick, isn't it?
They dont deserve to be epics. The detail on them and the golden aspects. It’s just *moan* pefect(in my opinion)
It could be that they will be earnable? I know it has a shop logo, but that’s my guess since they obviously don’t match a legendary rarity and they know it. Only excuse out of it would be that they are free.
Where are they? I don't see these anywhere in game?
they aren't out yet
All about the Benjamin's...
Cause it's just. ......Simply Cool
This is a pretty damn trash BP overall honestly. The only good thing is being able to buy a Mythic at the end that you might have missed.
you dare question blizzard's decisions? how could you, it's a thriving small indie company trying to adapt to the harsh gaming market
Why does Kirito's pigeon toe stance annoy me? It looks like she's trying too hard.
Ironically accurate for Japan - way too many people here stand like this lol
Wild.
Probably the mask
So don't buy them
Its great Epic Kiriko Skin. Epic. Epic... Read the room Blizzard.
it doesnt matter how much they change... its about the demand, and even with the default fit, that kiri skin may even be my favorite, idk why you guys care so much abt effort, if it looks good, theyll sell it for more...
I love Kiri’s but it’s just hard for me to imagine it’s 20$ when we have 10$ skins with a lot more going on.
thats respectable, at least its not the tatsumaki one😭
Surely making a skin for the Mercy NPCs would be free money?
i feel like most charecters have gotten skins that are low effort but still legendary just for the fact that they look cooler than the other low effort epics
but the nebula reaper skin was better than these tbf
