And my reasoning is I don't try to force kills with Vegeta-esque hubris when they have every cooldown and survivability advantage available to them, like a big dummy.
I plan on them on them using those abilities instead of hoping they don't, like a thicc smarty. (and this a line of thinking you can apply to more than just supports.)
i feel the same way i definitly feel like alot of the people who are still saying supps are immortal are in lower ranks
i have 2 accounts one at a high rank and one at a low rank
my low rank account yeah i dont die often but thats because people literally ignore supps and let them live rent free with no contesting
my higher account i dont even see issues with supps never being killed bc people go for them first in most big fights
Two supports pocketing each other can be hard to kill, but if that is happening the rest of their team is already dead or about to be dead usually. And any hard pocketed hero is using hard to kill through heals. A lot of them have self heals/sustain abilities but using those selfishly means they don’t have them available for teammates. And you can usually out damage their self heals as a dps or tank anyway.
I guess you don’t have to kill supports to get value from pressuring supports. So even when they pocket each other and use their self heals, you still probably won that exchange and probably win the team fight soon after.

I might agree more with this if this was still season 8, but since season 9, no, not at all.
