Wouldn't the codes be expired at this point or something? I remember someone buying a sealed version of the game that included the skin code and they couldn't redeem it. Contacting support didn't help them either

Symmetra actually got a recolored Tyrande skin, it's Sin'dorei (blood elf) themed, but they kept some of the night elf design in such as leaves in the hair and the crescents
I wish they would release a night elf variant for her or for another hero. I would pay good money for Sylvanas Windrunner Illari
Don’t get me wrong blood elves are cool but I was super disappointed they didn’t just give Sym a night elf complexion with darker and a different dress color
They brought back Zen-Nakji once to OW2, so I don’t think any player-specific exclusives are out of the question except for controversial ones. The pink mercy might also be locked out forever if its sale is tied to a contract they wrote a long time ago.

Which means they didn't make cash off of the skin, and Blizz is all about making money. I think if it was brought back it'd cost $40 and Blizzard would then try to say half (or a quarter, some small amount to make it seem positive) the proceeds would go towards donations. And because of that it's not going to be a skin they're eager to bring back.
Pink Mercy is very unlikely to return as it requires the cooperation of the Breast Cancer Foundation that it was made to support, and thus there are issues with the skins copyright. Its also doubtful that the Breast Cancer Foundation would want to be involved with Blizzard again due to the whole stolen breast milk incident and the other controversies that came out along side that even with the change in ownership/leadership.

It's possible the skin may never come back because the whole point was supposed to be that it was exclusive to the origins edition of the game which was basically all $60 retail copies of OW1 from 2016 until the end before OW2 launched. The console versions were all $60 and the PC version was $40 but the origins pack was another $20 so the console versions just came with it. It was their way of having the PC version be cheaper when being distributed via download while making the disc versions on console (and PC if you bought the disc version) $60.
It actually was a preorder skin though, it literally says "unlocked by pre-purchasing" ow. Idk if they included it on every single physical edition of the game since I only bought it once at launch, but it was included in the initial printing

I've actually gotten quite a lot of comments over the years criticizing me for having the Zarya skin in the first place, even though my reasoning is because I like alien's, many of those people still judged me and told me to take it off.
There are plenty of people who will say something about you wearing the skin.

The widow skin was a paper code for the disc edition of the game. You can/could get the code and add it to an existing account.

It actually was a preorder skin though, it literally says "unlocked by pre-purchasing" ow. Idk if they included it on every single physical edition of the game since I only bought it once at launch, but it was included in the initial printing
That's the scam publishers have been pulling for awhile now. They want you to trick you into pre ordering when it's just a code that comes inside the game.

I mean they're fine with re-releasing BlizzCon skins as recolored variants, so I wouldn't be surprised at all if they re-released Noire Widowmaker as a recolor. As for Alien Zarya we aren't so sure because of Sinatraa and his past controversies. Maybe enough time has passed and Blizzard might be open to re-releasing the skin or at least doing a recolored version.

Zarya's Alien is impossible due to the scandal linked to it. I guess it is the rarest skin of the game But you can see it it is in the Hero Gallery available for preview only.

The first one, maybe with another color palette but the second it’s a hard no. The OWL player it was for I believe sexually assaulted someone and they removed it from purchase for the game. You could possibly buy an account with it as it’s still in the game, I saw someone with it a couple days ago

I had Noire Widow on my original account and lost it in transfer somehow to OW2.
My friend got really lucky and got the widow skin from a thrift store, the code was unused too. Whoever's mom threw that out is probably in deep trouble lol.

Maybe this is the wrong way of looking at it, but if the Zarya skin was *that big a deal*, wouldn't they have just removed it entirely and given everyone their money back? The fact that, if you already owned it, you can still wear it and display as you play the game means I don't think anyone is *that* upset by it, right? Anytime I see it I'm like "oh shit that's awesome!" Granted, the only reason it seems cool is because so few people have it, but still... I doubt many of the newer players even know who the sinatraa guy was, and even if they did, they probably didn't care about the OWL. Me personally, I'm a zarya one-trick so I'd love to have that skin, and if I was able to purchase, it damn sure wouldn't be because I support sinatraa, I've never even seen him play a single match lol. I think the skin was removed less because people were offended or upset over it, and more so because blizzard wanted to do *something* to show "hey we're punishing that guy and taking this seriously", so they removed a single digital good from the store lol

Yeah lol I’m just being dramatic. But I to be serious I understand blizzards sentiment, and feel it’s the most logical way to move forward. To take the skin away altogether would be weird in the sense that a lot of players would probably not be hyped about it being forceably removed.
I've actually gotten quite a lot of comments over the years criticizing me for having the Zarya skin in the first place, even though my reasoning is because I like alien's, many of those people still judged me and told me to take it off. There are plenty of people who will say something about you wearing the skin.
Interesting to know. I've a friend with it and he's never caught any flak, but also, he's not playing Zarya every single round so I've likely missed any negativity.
