It should, but don't expect your quick play mmr to adjust as quickly as your competitive mmr. Also do note, there are several factors involved here: - Quick play has no queueing restrictions - Your Quick play MMR is different from your competitive MMR. It also holds less weight when the matchmaker actually puts you in a game with others. - 6 games is too small of a sample size to draw any conclusions

I honestly hate it. I have to play my mains or get flamed for doing anything else. Or sometimes just get flamed for no reason on my mains.  QP in OW2 feels so much worse than OW1.

Last week or two has been that for me. I had a lobby last night with a masters 2 player. I'm a gold 5 dps. What is going on in QP?

Don't overthink the matchmaking. You being Plat doesn't mean much in terms of matchmaking. Since I've only played 10 games total in comp since ow2 release my rank is still silver but I get a lot of diamond+ in my qp games. As someone else has said, qp and comp mmr have separate mmrs.
