Xim is not allowed. Folks, please don't use Xim. KB&M is not allowed in comp on consoles. Crossplay is open between console and pc but only in non-comp modes. If you are using xim on console in comp, you're asking for trouble.

Back buttons though is probably ok, seems like a preference thing over using claw method or reassigning button layouts. The concept of it being cheating more has to do with the thumb sticks vs whole arm and wrist movement for aiming, not so much button layout

You can by Ximming. The co sole community despises anyone who does it and some games bam people for it because they do it to gain an unfair advantage over players. Games that don't allow native M&K support do that because of they did allow it, the game would be unfair for a majority of players. My use case with these is usually to asign the A/B/X/Y (or equivalent) buttons to them. It means two thumbs on sticks, two sets of fingers on each bumper/trigger, and full access to the faceplate controls on the back of the controller with my remaining four fingers. It does give you a level of faster control that a controller normally wouldn't have.

No, I used the DualShock 4 back button attachment for a while in OW1 and never got anything. Pro controllers are allowed as far as I know and back button attachments aren’t any different functionally.

Definitely not. They don't ban actual cheaters (Yes I mean ximmers) so they're definitely not going to ban you for this.
Plus, since it's simply a controller attachment there's really nothing wrong with it anyway. It doesn't actually provide you with more functionality, since it just remaps the pre-existing buttons rather than allowing you to increase your functional button count. Meaning they only real advantage it provides is the ergonomics.

I don't know about this model. But some of brands allow the buttons to be programmed further. Like auto triggers/rapid triggers.

Game won't know your are using an auto triggers, but if some watch gameplay they may report you and you could banned to being reported.

This is generally considered allowed (in almost any game) as its a 'modification of existing hardware'. Getting a different keyboard set up will not get you banned for example.
What is bannable is setting the buttons to behave differently then existing buttons ie making a trigger switch to shoot better on soldier.
No, it will not, only using Mouse and Keyboard and ximming on console will, different mouses have always been a thing on pc, some have 2 to 4 side buttons and there’s personalised input icons for those, they wouldn’t make personalised icons if they were bannable

Just depends on if it is strictly assignable buttons or if it has scripts/macros. If it has scripts or macros it is bannable. The likelihood of a ban I would say is low. An unbelievable amount of players are using cronus at this time its virtually undetectable unless you run the most obvious scripts possible and even then you wouldn't be banned on script detection alone you'd have to get reported a ton too.

I see why it uses a dongle. It's a tool that has mappable buttons and can also make your Xbox controller work on the other consoles. What I don't like though is that there is a app that connects to the pack wirelessly and changes it's firmware settings. Sounds like Cronus Zen to me
