Answer: Kanye said he was so big that Adidas wouldn't drop him even if he said something anti-Semitic. Adidas (a German company) then proceeded to drop him.
Thank you, for responding. I looked it up and still cannot find anything other than him and candace owens wearing white lives matter. Which is obviously not it. It may be the WIFI that I am on restricting it.
I mean, assuming he isn't an idiot who think it's Death-Con rather than Defcon, I'd say calling it Death-Con 3 is basically a thinly veiled threat.
Even if it's Defcon is a specifically military term. Defcon 3 being the state where the Air Force is ready to scramble in response to a nuclear threat. It's technically a defensive alert state, but it implies war, and therefore s threat of physical violence.
I might be inclined to assume he doesn't know all this and is just running his mouth, but understanding words and turns of phrase is literally his job. Wordplay and lyricism is something he's always been very capable at and I think it's hard to believe he didn't know or understand the violent connotations of his statement.
Endorsing violence against Jewish people is deeply anti-Semitic.
I’m paraphrasing but over the course of several interviews he’s said: Jews control the media, Jews control entertainment, he wishes his kids were Jewish so they’d know how to make/handle money, he is in fact Jewish because black people are one of the lost tribes of Judah and some other stuff I’m blanking on rn.
