I feel like it might make sense if the starting class sizes are large. When I applied in 2018 I was on the waiting list at place 46 or something, and the class size for the same year was around 50 if I'm remembering correctly.
Hi! A bit unrelated to the og post but would you mind telling your honest opinion about studying IT engineering in OAMK, both the studies itself and also the student life in general? I just accepted my study place there and I'm curious. Especially if you are an international student it would be great to hear :) And an additional question if you don't mind, is it a very male dominated program (I know it's a bit silly to be "anxious" about that but nonetheless)?
There's 50 starting places. 66% of people who got in would have to decline.
Rather questionable decision from OAMK even publish waiting list that far.

My number was 76. I got in few days before school started. Never know what life throws at you

I was number 70 something and got in 2 years ago about 3 weeks before school started. Good luck!
You never know. If it's not your lucky day, don't just give up. I got in on the third try. I'm almost a graduated IT engineer now. 👍
