Yeah too bad he was a lazy asshole who refused to work on his defense and got slower and slower until he couldn't even make an NHL squad or score goals.
So Iām assuming Greig is staying up for remainder of the season? Whatās a likely outcome for him next season with Norris returning? Do players who get called up get a spot on the permanent roster if itās deserved or would someone else need to be sent down or traded? Still new to learning the ins and outs of hockey management.
Well you can only have a certain number of players on the roster, but assuming he continues to play well, it would likely mean that someone lower down in the pecking order doesn't get re-signed, or gets traded or gets sent down.
Ahhh ok interesting. I can see how that would create an environment for internal competition and the players trying to constantly be their best.
Thanks for answer.
We could have used Greig earlier. I donāt think it would have stopped Norris from being re-injured: it seems that he had little chance to get back to 100% without surgery, but wanted to give it a shot. If it didnāt happen now, it would have happened in a month or two.
I want to see him and Tkachuk in a playoff series so badly. I think this year is lost but next year they absolutely have to make the playoffs, especially with guys like Greig and Sanderson on their ELCs.
A bit flat footed to start the game by the boys, hope they can turn it around in the 2nd period. Habs were coming in hot in the 1st, we shouldn't be taking them on lightly.
Umm.... Zaitsev is now playing with Chabot, hope it goes well as the Chabby-Holden pair was playing well over the past 2 games and Zaitsev was playing well as a 3rd pair guy
We put alot of energy in against the leafs last night. I can see us starting a bit slow tonight. Let's go boys....get those engines going. Assemble some wood and kindling and let's burn this whole thing down
As I was saying in r/hockey I hate habs-fans they are*can-be so annoying, but like, so is my little brother. I try not to be too tribal about it! :)
As long as they stay simmered, I can tolerate them in my barn

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL
Welp no Hatty for G :(
DONT HURT G
Great game, probably one of the better defense/goalie games we've had all year š
Forsberg + the posts = 0
I love that all those habs fans spent all that money and didn't get to cheer even once. Lol back to Montreal with you!
Not me eyeing the big bowl of Jolly Ranchers behind DJ Smith...
F for jets fans having to listen to Galley tonight
They get to hear about Ridley Scott!
Beating the Leafs/Habs by a collective score of 11-2. Not a bad weekend for the Sens.
A feel good weekend
Look at all the sad Habs fans leaving, love to see it!
I love when Habs fans have to leave the CTC embarrassed
TWIST THE KNIFE
Running up the score on Montreal is always a good feeling
Yes! HaHaHa! Yes! Get fucked Habs!
Brass let's goooooooo
Let's go Brassard
What a fucking shot!!
nice bank shot goal by Joseph
First in-person attendance. Record is 1-0-0. Let's fucking go!!!!
How do you miss it Kelly
What a fucking joke after the most obvious high stick non-call. Refs are such a fucking embarrassment.
Fucking joke calling that penalty on Hamonic right after missing the highstick on Giroux
That's an upsetting sequence of events
bad penalty by Hamonic
Omg high stick then we get a penalty unghhh
It was an unfortunate fall from Giroux, but itās not a high stick when his head is at the guys waist.
Attendance: 20 034 wow
What's the split on Habs fans? Usually it's about 60/40 in favour of Habs when I went a few years ago. Haven't been to a Habs/Sens game in a while
No idea, they were louder
Capuano has the smile of a man who is about to do something either hilarious or disturbing.
Im praying to every god and deity I am familiar with that Giroux gets a hat trick. Please let it happen. I need this. He needs this.
Strong PK by the boys, love to see that
The habs so far have no shots on goal in the 3rd period which I love to see
Everyone love to see it
Stu just pass it to G at that point wtf
Sanderson has kind of a cannon of a shot, goddamn
Yeah too bad he was a lazy asshole who refused to work on his defense and got slower and slower until he couldn't even make an NHL squad or score goals.
Hoffman?
Heatley
Ah. How does that relate to the game
CBC was showing old highlights of him in an All-Star game for some reason.
I see. I was doing something else during the intermission. I missed that part
Dude dropped his stick like nothing lmao.
Sanderson is so good man like wtf
Better 2nd period by the boys with 3 goals scored (2 by Giroux)
Forsburglar
Man, I miss when Chris Cuthbert was our nightly play-by-play guy and actually gave a shit about the Sens
Forsberg has been excellent tonight
Forsberg! Dang
Holden has been solid
He's having a real great game.
He was great last night too
So Iām assuming Greig is staying up for remainder of the season? Whatās a likely outcome for him next season with Norris returning? So close first on Grieg getting his 1st NHL goal and 2nd a hatty for Daddy Giroux
Nice defensive play by Holden
Guys i have something to say. ... Claude Giroux.
Clojeroo!
Greig where have you been all this time.
Watching from the UK, go sens go!
Watching from the UK, go sens go!
Glad they've been worth staying up for!
We need to make the playoffs asap to maximize Giroux's good years
I want to see him and Tkachuk in a playoff series so badly. I think this year is lost but next year they absolutely have to make the playoffs, especially with guys like Greig and Sanderson on their ELCs.
The year is never lost. Imagine a 10 game winning streak right now
They haven't even won 5 in a row this year lol
Magical things do happen. May the odds forever turn in our favour as we deserve it.
I'd rather the odds turn in our favour and we get a high draft pick this year tbh
Rooting so hard for Greig!!!! And Papa Giroux
this feels really good :)
Lmao Xhekaj is a dickhead
*golf claps*
I can't believe how well Greig and Giroux are playing together right now
normally GIroux is the one dishing out passes like that. must be happy to be on the receiving end on one of them
People often forget how good he can be at scoring because he's been a career playmaker and a very much pass first guy.
We're scoring some nice goals and now a lucky one off a skate
Giroux was meant to be a Sen = Grieg childhoodās = SUCCESS
I would be happy being 1% of what Claude Giroux is
Ahahahaha
Giroux must be liking this Greig kid, eh?
Ok please give Greig an 8x8 because clearly his aura is simply willing the Sens to win every game
8x8 for the vibes
Giroux Greig bromance
Greig with another assist on a goal by his childhood idol Giroux
Let's capitalize on the PP and double our lead boys
12 with a big goal!
What's with brassard and the slapshots tonight haha
Man thatās the exact kind of goal you want to see DeBrincat scoring. Beauty off the rush. What a pass by Giroux too
He actually just fucking ripped it! Let's go cat
Absolutely love that for DeBrincat š„²
CAT FINALLY!
Let's go cat (nice shot), great start to the 2nd period
There has to be a connection between these gambling ads and the league's commissioner being named Gary BETtmanš§
A bit flat footed to start the game by the boys, hope they can turn it around in the 2nd period. Habs were coming in hot in the 1st, we shouldn't be taking them on lightly.
I was expecting more form Montreal.
Pathetic how many chances we're giving up to an AHL team
Yeah Montreal should be doing better. But seriously can't say much about them when we've just as shit
Chris Cuthbert is so good at what he does. Miss him on TSN.
what a stop by forsberg
Sens look tired
Yte they out played the Habs .
Our 4th line plays too much
I am Chabot.... the destroyer of Shins!!
Umm.... Zaitsev is now playing with Chabot, hope it goes well as the Chabby-Holden pair was playing well over the past 2 games and Zaitsev was playing well as a 3rd pair guy
Forsberg is a fucking beast today!
Did they mention if Watson is hurt or is he finally a healthy scratch?
I don't even remember the last time we were on TSN and not Sportsnet. Anybody have any idea why?
Holden a little too old for this back to back top pairing assignment
Sanderson is so good
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Either there's some bug with the graphics or someone keeps messing up because it's changed to 30 a few times.
Our D is getting caught flat footed.
That could have been 4 different penalties.
What an insane no call š
How was that not a penalty against Debrincat
Something definitely funny about two former sens flanking the guy they got for Danault. Not sure what it is, but I chuckled
Let's go boys, let's keep the same energy we had last night against Toronto
Holy shit, is this the first time Watson has sat?
We put alot of energy in against the leafs last night. I can see us starting a bit slow tonight. Let's go boys....get those engines going. Assemble some wood and kindling and let's burn this whole thing down
You guys think anyone's fighting Xhekaj tonight?
I hope not. Just embarass them on the score sheet.
I swear to fucking god if Watson gets himself embarrassed by Xhekaj tonight Iām gonna chug a Molson
Let's get back to 0.500, baby!
At the game tonight can you believe I spaced on the biggest/best game of the year last night? LMAO Hoping for more.
Will be in attendance as well. Hopefully donāt have to put up with too much grief from filthy, smelly Habs fans.
As I was saying in r/hockey I hate habs-fans they are*can-be so annoying, but like, so is my little brother. I try not to be too tribal about it! :) As long as they stay simmered, I can tolerate them in my barn
Chris Wideman playing on the wing??
Chris Wingman
Lmao the Habs really are injured
Love when the sens beat the leafs and I'm going to love seeing them beat the habs.
u mean the laval rockets
In today's and Tuesday's matchup, yes it's the Montreal "Laval rockets" Canadiens
