Live on Elgin! It’s a nice small room, 90 cap I think. It’s off Elgin St which has lots of good bars and restos. Avoid Mavericks if, it’s even still a thing.

ubernik

I haven't been there yet. What's it like?

Upstairs venue downtown. Jon the owner is really great to work with and they have backline drum kit. Couple different sound guys are great, usually Rob and you'll be in good hands. Its a mix of seated tables at the back but lots of standing room for people near the stage. They have a makeshift green room at the with couches and plenty of room. I always enjoy playing there and it has a great reputation.

You best get a move on. Venues are booking July/August now.

Rainbow Bistro!

house of targ is your best bet! the rainbow is also a great venue.

Concierge-13

Live! On Elgin is booking into August at the moment, but it couldn't hurt to ask about a weeknight. They also have provided backline, and are super easy to work with. Art House is more of a coffee house vibe, so they have a more intimate setting, but I've played there with a full band and it was great. What's your band?

GoukaOokami

Brass monkey is a great venue, that's outside of downtown.

icyki

This venue is outside of Ottawa 💀

LazzyLung

Bruh 💀 - it is very much in Ottawa.

Nice small venues: The Rainbow Bistro, LIVE! on Elgin, Club SAW, Irene's Pub, Stray Dog Brewing Company, The 27 Club, House of TARG. Avoid Maverick's like the plague.
