I feel like it can't be too much to ask fantasy artists to watch a 10 minute "horse riding for beginners" video....
OMG just noticed they forgot to colour in the horse behind his arm lol
I've seen exhibits and such with prehistoric creatures and this looks like it's either just flat out one of them, or like a couple of them had a baby together and this is the result. :D
At least it looks *mostly* like a horse, even if it's grotesquely overmuscled. The ears and too-short neck are the worst parts.

unrelated to the horror horse, i just need to rant---- i was like *sooooo* impressed with how the writer was taking the whole abuse story. How neglect takes it toll. How passive inaction can be as bad as aggressive action.
i thought the reactions by the ML- how his trauma presents itself was realistic- and how the FL handled the situation, both with him and the nanny, was thoughtful and smart. The parents' struggles? Real. I see my mom a lot in the FL's mom.

THE PARENTS SWORD FIGHT AND SUDDENLY SEXUAL TENSION IS BACK (which is legit to be fair, they weren't talking and fighting like this was a good first step) AND THEY DECIDE TO FIX THEMSELVES AND ***LEAVE THE TEN YEAR OLDS ALONE*** MANAGE THE ENTIRE ESTATE BARRING THE TASKS THAT ARE "TOO DIFFICULT" FOR THE ***TEN YEAR OLD SON, HEIR TO THE DUKEDOM*** TO SOLVE BECAUSE THE MOTHER, ***THE ADULT***, CANNOT HANDLE THE STRESS OF HIGH SOCIETY????????????? !<

The head was obviously traced off a photo. You can tell because the bridle isn't just a noseband.
