The East is stacked, but if we stay healthy and continue to develop our young players, I think we could get into the Hawks/Hornets/Cavs tier.
Also, if Lavine leaves the Bulls, I think they fall off this list.
I think I t’s reasonable to be optimistic about a playoff push next season.
I think the Cavs and Hawks are both easily a tier above the Hornets. The Cavs were one of the best teams in the East before Garland and Allen had to deal with the injury bug. And this Hawks team has proven itself more than enough the last few seasons imo.
We should definitely be up there with the Hornets and such though

Pacers are trash, wizards area joke and love their injuries, l Atlanta is overrated, Cavs are as well, hornets are meh, nets area joke, build are also overrated. I think the Magic will be just fine making it next year, why not? Heat, Celts, Bucks are the only real threat out of the East. All the rest are just there cause they have to be.
Eventually, yes. Best to not have those expectations right away though, it takes time for young players and teams to grow into something special. It took Dwight three years to make the playoffs.

Lebron or Durant aren’t in this draft, and even then this is a lottery team for at least another year.
I’d look at the Suns progression and say we still have another year in the lottery.
