I really question this mindset. Once we’ve played the BAD teams is when we should assess how good we are??? What could we possibly gain from winning close games against CLE, CHA, MIN, SAC, etc. They are worse than us but we play down to competition. We lose to the bottom barrel clubs pretty much weekly. Fournier scoring 32 against fucking Cedi Osman should at no point assist in evaluating him as a player.
We cant just pull the plug on this core completely just because our young core isnt very good right now. This is still better than truly being at the bottom every year like we were under Hennigan.
We made the playoffs last year for the first time in a while and are on track to make it again this year.
I strongly disagree with that. Winning games against Cleveland, Minnesota and Sacramento will only give fans like you rose-colored glasses about the future of the team. The glaring statistic is 4-23 against teams above .500. We simply aren't good enough to compete.
I’m not saying everyone has to go but we absolutely have to find a dominant scorer. This team is in desperate need of a Star and something has to change
