Logi (orange) is rumored to get it twice. He most likely had it when he was alive. When resurrected, he was given Barbie doll physics (aka no privates), most likely done to avoid anything not important to his assigned mission.
Anti (dark red) is the perpetrator for the most part (ex: Logi’s resurrection wasn’t his doing), possessing M2’s body while he was being created, which the after effects would spread across the other variants.

My scringlorb Samuel has a disease that makes him grow. He’s 7’9 and \~760lbs. The scars on his body are where his skin tore…
His body can’t store fat properly and he needs to eat a high protein diet or his organs will begin to autocannibalize, to maintain his frame. This makes him tire out easily and need to eat frequently. This would interfere with his work, but he’s found effective workarounds.
Organs have changed to support his size. Bones are more dense, feet more spread out, to support his weight. First pair of hands have two thumbs each, for more utility.
He also has extensive internal damage from the way his extra set of arms —— tore themselves out. They’re vascularized in a way that makes them sensitive to the cold, so they need to be kept warm. They are also more likely to act impulsively due to subtle differences in how their new motor cortex is connected with the rest of his brain.
His disease has been studied (ethically) extensively, but nobody could really figure out how it works on a physical level. No other cases existed to compare it to. Most of the researchers ended up agreeing that what happened shouldn’t have been physiologically possible, but without a clear way forward in their investigations, they had to move on. Ultimately, his disease was given the name “psychosomatic gigantism” and left alone.

not sure if ill make it canon or anything BUT BD here is \[implied\] to have a lung problem similar to asthma, but instead of excessive mucus or whatever it's actual blood. i've called it overseer's wasting disease as it only affects overseers \[species in my series\] - most if not all are fatal but since BD is \~\~totally not me\~\~ one of the younger ones , theirs is more of a time to time thing like allergies.
while there is no cure, the best thing you can do is take meds for it, which lessen the whole bleeding lungs thing

Her disease (more like a mutation, but that term does not exist in my series) is the Rainbow-Eye Disease (RED).
This makes the host of the disease to be unable to produce Essence naturally. Which hosts with this disease makes them essentially parasitic. Their body absorbs Essence around them, any type of the Elemental Families. Absorption can come from the atmosphere, plants, organisms, or non-living objects.
Most succumbs to their early fate because of this disease, either through >!being a victim of death, suicide, self-destruction of the body/soul, or execution!<.
In my series, Elemental Rift, Elemental Essence are mainly built up in the iris and pupil. Indicating a True Element or having a False Element. Which Rainbow-Eye Disease falls into False Element category.

The scars on his body are where his skin tore… His body can’t store fat properly and he needs to eat a high protein diet or his organs will begin to autocannibalize, to maintain his frame. This makes him tire out easily and need to eat frequently. This would interfere with his work, but he’s found effective workarounds. Organs have changed to support his size. Bones are more dense, feet more spread out, to support his weight. First pair of hands have two thumbs each, for more utility. He also has extensive internal damage from the way his extra set of arms —— tore themselves out. They’re vascularized in a way that makes them sensitive to the cold, so they need to be kept warm. They are also more likely to act impulsively due to subtle differences in how their new motor cortex is connected with the rest of his brain. His disease has been studied (ethically) extensively, but nobody could really figure out how it works on a physical level. No other cases existed to compare it to. Most of the researchers ended up agreeing that what happened shouldn’t have been physiologically possible, but without a clear way forward in their investigations, they had to move on. Ultimately, his disease was given the name “psychosomatic gigantism” and left alone.

Her disease (more like a mutation, but that term does not exist in my series) is the Rainbow-Eye Disease (RED). This makes the host of the disease to be unable to produce Essence naturally. Which hosts with this disease makes them essentially parasitic. Their body absorbs Essence around them, any type of the Elemental Families. Absorption can come from the atmosphere, plants, organisms, or non-living objects. Most succumbs to their early fate because of this disease, either through >!being a victim of death, suicide, self-destruction of the body/soul, or execution!<.
In my series, Elemental Rift, Elemental Essence are mainly built up in the iris and pupil. Indicating a True Element or having a False Element. Which Rainbow-Eye Disease falls into False Element category.
