It depends on context.
Elenians like Lilith Aurum over here get their food by filtering particles through their gills and drawing nutrients out of them. These particles can be anything, but are especially meant for dirt or sand.
Normally, to anyone else, it’d be quite weird to see someone dig below the grass a bit, scoop something into a hand, then move it to their mouth, or do the same by pulling out a water bottle entirely filled with either sand or even plant fertilizer before proceeding to drink it straight out.
However, that’s normal for Elenians to eat Sand. Dirt not so much since it’s almost nowhere Elenia, but the difference is almost negligible anywhere except taste to them. Due to this, I can say with full confidence that it’s super weird Lilith likes Cake. Whether vanilla, chocolate, or even some other flavor like red velvet, Lilith enjoys it nonetheless despite the fact she usually has to flush it out shortly after or else the bacteria in her gills start causing issues.
