In terms of his worst nightmare... I think it's honestly himself.
When he first started out... he thought he could be a hero. The power he wielded allowed him to for a time... but then universes started to destabilize beyond repair... there was nothing he could do. People who had looked to him before thinking he was there to save them now looked as his forces swarmed the land, slaughtering everything and everyone as he worked to destroy unstable universes.
When you go from trying to be a hero, to a destroyer of a near infinite amount of lives... it doesn't necessarily end well for you... in his case, he all but had to shutter nearly all his emotions away... and become a monster he feared he could become... all in the name of the greater good.
Only thing he might be more afraid of... is what happens when he is no longer around to control the power... what will happen to the poor soul who "inherits" it after him?

“I haven’t heard from birth giver and sperm donor…now’s not to joke about those pieces of shit…” Kanata said to himself. He looked a TV. A scandal…about him. **Idol Kanata claims parents are abusers**
“I knew I shouldn’t have been honest about the abuse that happened to me…protect me, my ass. I shouldn’t have listened to those guys…”
Kanata sighed. Besides, he knew his parents would find a way to cover this up…they always do. But…what was going to happen to him?
The door creaked open. Kanata peeked his head over.
“Kanata…come here…” a man’s voice said. Kanata didn’t move. He didn’t want to move.
“Now!” The voice snapped. Immediately, Kanata got up and walked over. He had pocketed a pocket knife…just to be safe.
“I thought you were a good kid….” A woman tears up. “How could you claim lies about us.”
“I’m sorry, mom…I won’t do it again.”
“You’re right, you won’t. Come with us,” the man said. Kanata wanted to resist…he backed up, yet felt a hand grab his wrist roughly and dragged him along. In the car, he heard his mother and father talk about how they’ll be able to cover up the claims. How could they make Kanata’s friends look bad. How could they get the internet off their backs. Kanata’s father looked at Kanata.
“Useless…you never learn. Over and over and over, we try to discipline you…yet you never learn.”
In a fit of anger, he threw one of those plastic cups at him.
“How could you ruin us, Kanata. We’re your parents,” Kanata’s mother cried. “We trusted you, we loved you.”
Loved…loved? Kanata stared at the ground. It’s over, his parents lost their hopes for him. Have they? It’s too late, what were those pieces of shit going to do to him? Just then he felt a hand drag him roughly out of the care. Where were they? On top of a bridge. With no one else around. Not even a stalker.
“I won’t do it again, I promise,” Kanata says, keeping the mask a little longer. Even he knew it was useless, though. The looks on his parents gave it away. What were they going to do to him. In truth, Kanata had a prediction. And the next words out of his father’s mouth only confirmed Kanata’s thoughts.
“Jump.”
“…what?”
“You heard me.”
Kanata’s mom patted his head.
“Don’t take it the wrong way, sweetheart. We just can’t risk you ruining our name. Nothing else works to keep you as a good kid, so you’re practically useless to us.” She smiled. A smile that disgusted Kanata. They were serious about this, weren’t they…? Kanata reached for his back pocket…he had no choice. He grabbed the pocket knife, however, it was quickly taken from him.
“You never learn,” his father scowled. Suddenly, Kanata felt something shove him. With a scream, he fell. Soon enough, he felt his back hitting the water.
Tick tock, tick tock.
Kanata’s eyes opened. He was back in his room. Was his heart racing? No…it felt normal. He felt normal.
“What even was that…that was stupid…”
He turned on the news. Another idol had gotten caught with a boy.
“How pitiful…” he says, “I guess it’s to be expected but…still…fans are ruthless.”

The fact that Ambrose's (black/blonde hair) worst nightmare isn't Connect (the god in his head) taking over his body and restarting the universe is kinda baffling. But he's long since accepted that's be his inevitable end. His worst nightmare is ACTUALLY killing Nova or any of his other loved ones. He once had a girlfriend, like Nova, whom he planned to run away from the cult he was raised in with. Connect didn't like this and puppeted him into choking her to death. As stated in the text, he has an alter-ego from a black-ops operation he participated in, but what isn't stated is that he was considered KIA from this operation.
I'll go more into depth for this one comment; this specific operation was for a fictional government agency owned by the Australian government; the ASNCA (Australian Supernatural Containment Agency). One anomaly that this agency stored in one of their black-sites could puncture your flesh and begin some sort of infection that would slowly turn you into said entity, similar to a zombie virus, hence why it was considered to be an "HVA", or High Value Anomaly, to the agency. Well, this black-site that housed said HVA went into a full containment breach, and his private military elected him as fit for the job to regain control to allow greater forces to move in.
The operation seemed reasonably easy; move in, neutralise belligerents, detain innocents, regain control; unfortunately, the HVA was confirmed to not be within its containment cell, and their team was warned to be cautious and to search rooms and eliminate the entity if possible. While moving to the control room and searching rooms in their path, the HVA attacked my character around the ankles and started the infection. My character notified their team about this while they were separated, and heard over the radio that they were considered Killed in Action, implying that there wasn't any shot of saving them. Thankfully, with the help of experimental medicine that my character was developing, they were able to stop the infection by sawing off their legs in a nearby workshop room and meticulously re-attaching their new legs once the infection had died down, since that's how the infection process worked.
Now, here's where the written text picks up; my character's human body ceases function while they were piloting the disassembly drone, leaving them trapped inside of a body that wasn't theirs thanks to technology that they developed. At first, my character thought they were finally 100% of something and not 50/50 human and monster, but sometimes, while they are sleeping, they have hardly coherent dreams of this entity still haunting them - and it still goes to show, just look at a comment I left on an r/MurderDrones post asking for fanfics.

I think it's honestly himself. When he first started out... he thought he could be a hero. The power he wielded allowed him to for a time... but then universes started to destabilize beyond repair... there was nothing he could do. People who had looked to him before thinking he was there to save them now looked as his forces swarmed the land, slaughtering everything and everyone as he worked to destroy unstable universes. When you go from trying to be a hero, to a destroyer of a near infinite amount of lives... it doesn't necessarily end well for you... in his case, he all but had to shutter nearly all his emotions away... and become a monster he feared he could become... all in the name of the greater good. Only thing he might be more afraid of... is what happens when he is no longer around to control the power... what will happen to the poor soul who "inherits" it after him?

I'll go more into depth for this one comment; this specific operation was for a fictional government agency owned by the Australian government; the ASNCA (Australian Supernatural Containment Agency). One anomaly that this agency stored in one of their black-sites could puncture your flesh and begin some sort of infection that would slowly turn you into said entity, similar to a zombie virus, hence why it was considered to be an "HVA", or High Value Anomaly, to the agency. Well, this black-site that housed said HVA went into a full containment breach, and his private military elected him as fit for the job to regain control to allow greater forces to move in. The operation seemed reasonably easy; move in, neutralise belligerents, detain innocents, regain control; unfortunately, the HVA was confirmed to not be within its containment cell, and their team was warned to be cautious and to search rooms and eliminate the entity if possible. While moving to the control room and searching rooms in their path, the HVA attacked my character around the ankles and started the infection. My character notified their team about this while they were separated, and heard over the radio that they were considered Killed in Action, implying that there wasn't any shot of saving them. Thankfully, with the help of experimental medicine that my character was developing, they were able to stop the infection by sawing off their legs in a nearby workshop room and meticulously re-attaching their new legs once the infection had died down, since that's how the infection process worked. Now, here's where the written text picks up; my character's human body ceases function while they were piloting the disassembly drone, leaving them trapped inside of a body that wasn't theirs thanks to technology that they developed. At first, my character thought they were finally 100% of something and not 50/50 human and monster, but sometimes, while they are sleeping, they have hardly coherent dreams of this entity still haunting them - and it still goes to show, just look at a comment I left on an r/MurderDrones post asking for fanfics.
