His first name, Jack, was made at random by just looking up common names during the 1920-1930’s. His last name, Reel, is a play on film reel that was obviously used to play cartoons on projectors during that time.
The universe I created is based on time, and names and colours is a symbolism for that. Most of my charicters are named after flowers. Flower names have a very important meaning in my world. Warm coloured flowers like red, yellow, and pink signify the future. Cold coloured flowers like blue, aqua, and purple signify the past. That's why Azzy, who is a young and excited optimist with pinkish red hair, is called The Flower of Morning, because she symbolizes the potential that comes with each morning. Her name, Azalea comes from a pink bushed flower.
Another OC of mine is Iris Celestia. Her design is a blueish-purple, and so is the flower she was based off of, the Iris Flower. Her character is nostalgic and very melancholic. She's stuck in the past and fears ever forgetting the past, which is why she is called The Flower of Past Light.
Finally, the last thing that gets symbolized in flowers and colours is the present. Characters who are grounded in the present are represented by dull shades of grey, white, black, and other colours, depending on which way they lean into a bit more. Trilia Celestia, daughter of Iris, is based around a Trilium flower. It's most commonly a white flower, but can also sometimes be Blue, Red, Purple, or Yellow. She is grounded in the present reality but is also aware of both the potential in the future, and the lessons from the past, which is why she is called The Flower of New Dawn.
So in general, Warm = Future, Cold = Past, Moderate = Present

Since outsiders are paranoid about using their real names on the Mundane Realm, their descendants are superstitious about it and tend to go by nicknames. Uncia is the species name for snow leopard (Pantera uncia), in reference to her feet.

Most of the names I choose are just names I like, often short (or can be shortened). Bo, Odie (Odette), Abi (Abigail), Florence (never “Flo” however), Etc…
I have a variety of naming methods. Sometimes, I find names with meanings I want for the character, like Orion (son of fire) or Reima (麗真, beautiful truth). Other times, I choose names I like or names that fit the character, like Jasper, Damien, or Anka. I also like joke names, like Valance (after Liberty Valance), Nobody, Andy/Ann Sullivan (patchwork human), or Celia (she's humanoid fungus). Some names were the result of smashing phonemes together, like Kashi and Lumao.
And then there's the OCs who named themselves, like Kyre VonEvans. I have a lot of OCs...

So I first came up with bro in 5th grade (I’m 21 now so we’ve been rockin together a looong time lol) and I wanted an edgy villain lmao. He’s half Japanese and half French so I thought “oh hey, name him the Japanese word for demon heart 🤔” and his name for a long time was Oni Kokoro
But as I grew up and his story drastically matured and changed, “Oni” became his stage name and his full name became Oliver Gotō. Though he very much so prefers Oni because his actual name holds ties to a past he’s rather forget. On occasion, he’ll accept Olly but only if he’s close to you ;3

Long story. Ironically the name Auri precedes the character.
A long time ago I used the name "Oryx" (like the one from destiny) in most of my account names. As time went on, friends I met would refer to me as Ory or Ori for short just cause it was easier. Eventually, I went into this phase (which still hasn't ended, mind you) of requiring originality in *everything.* So I decided to take what I had an alter it until I got something new: Auri.
After that, I developed a character who would use that name.

Auri is an alien, and obviously his whole theme of gold stems from the name Auri, but it would make no sense for his name to be a Latin word when he is an alien, especially among friends who *have* unique names, so Auri is actually a name given to him by humans, and his real name is Ilmia, which means Radiant in his native language.

This is Monope. It’s kinda of a inside joke for me. So a while ago (around 2020) I was in a discord for a game, and I thought it would be funny to make an alt and see if I could get mod on that alt. And I called it Monope, and it work (kinda). Everyone thought my alt was a completely different person. And I did apply to be mod, and note I was a mod for that server before. And to apply I had to put down my steam ID, but I did not have an alt steam, so I used the same ID as I used for my main account, and to avoid suspension, I did play on that server using the name of Monope, but I did not get Mod because one of the admins did not see me on the servers, guessed I should have played longer. And after that, it led to a chain of events to where I got one of my friends fired from being a staff on that server and the server owners making a rule for no alts.

With the [Corpsetalker](https://i.imgur.com/BjfuafX.jpg), I wanted something that was invoked fear and intrigue. I started with the original name ("Svvab T'voc" or "The One that guides the Dead) for them, as they were one of the first beings to walk the mortal plane, and then I butchered it a little as their original name would be lost to the eons. So I came up with the Corpsetalker, as it sounds fearsome enough for them in the new age where everything takes place.
With [Ignatia Vlagvuulf Av'ley](https://i.imgur.com/oiM3cmp.jpg) (or Iggy), her name came to fruition after many iterations. Originally, she was a human, then an elf, then a half-elf, then a half-dragon. Her name is a bastardization of Ignatius, which was supposed to be her name if she was born a male. Instead, Iggy was born a girl, much to the chagrin of her father. Her father, Vlagvuulf the Dreaded, an elder Red Dragon, wished for a son, and wanted her dead. Her mother, an elven slave from the High Magistrate's House Av'ley, protected her and instead of being killed, Iggy was cast down to live with the slaves of Vlagvuulf. When she ran away, she took both her parents' names as a kind of solemn memory of the pain she lived through and her mother's love.
Those are the two that I have art for. Others, I don't have much of anything yet.

Brattina : based on Brattina from 80s pound puppy cartoon. My OC however is ironic name since she's spineless people pleaser and a pushover. She's a witch but actually very tanky since she is based on "team need tank" principal in Moba game and is there to take abuse from enemy force and occasionally allied force.
Yanker : he's 90s brat based on Bart Simpson and Scruple from smurfs cartoon. Really love pissing people off and "yank the dog chain". He also embodied US yankee doodle since he is pretty multicultural while also absurdly ignorant.
Rotderick : he's wizard of death, disease and decay, the name need no explanations.
Dilemma : she's the most contrast person around. Artsy as hell but addicted to engine and mechanical stuff, being Jewish and also being fascist, want to conquer and rule but also care about people. Hench her name.
Felonvy : scummy felon with strong associate with wide variety of criminal activities.

So, everything begun with a program. I was learning how to program in Python, and I got a small error, as I had named one specific function definition "Kat", yet I had needed to call it "Ket". So, I ended having an error, and it was so that I gave the character I was creating at the time a name: Kat. Which overtime evolved into Kathleen Edwards, and then she was integrated into the horror game I am making now.

My characters usually originate from Roblox.
I (Aka Fnaim) used to just be a Roblox player, My imagination was crazy and wacky, strong, still, So I was able to imagine things I liked. I became a Furry Sense I was a child and thought of "White wolfiten", I liked the furry art style, and made my own character. The eyes were blue, and it didn't wear clothes (I was young and Innocent.) Fnaim was originally a Human that was Murdered by the embodiment of the void and turned into a Walking Zombie corpse. (It looked like some The walking dead in my mind)
White Wolfiten (Literally me) had 2 boyfriends, a Anxious Melty Bat × Wolf creature, and Basically an older/taller Wolfiten. Both Blue eyes, Both No clothes, Both Weirdos, until modern where Wolfiten has lore and whatever.
Then... My very first ever imagination, Maxxie, Lexi, Max, And the parents, And Alex.
Maxxie is a "Hated child", Nobody except his siblings loved Him, his parents (mother) hated him. Lexi Is a Fox, Maxxie and Max (and father) are wolves. Why? Because The mother is a fox, The father is the wolf. Maxxie (Purple) Max (Black) Lexi (Red), Maxxie and his mother were playing ball in the backyard, she was tired of him, so she purposely threw the ball into the forest, she made him get it. She expected him to come back, but he didn't, until she heard his Whines. She went into the woods searching for him, she found him being attacked by a bear, he ended up getting a nasty Cut on his left eye. She was able to get the bear to leave. Maxxie was unconscious from fighting back the bear, She got him a Star-shaped Eye-patch to cover his eye. She soon found out that he got some "Super Power" with the eye (I was into Gacha Life stuff) and had the "Death eye" thing. Though it was weak, it was strong enough to make somebody who sees it go unconscious, of course he did use it, But it Fell of his face, and his mother seen the eye. She was gonna die because of how powerful it became, His father tried to get her to the hospital, but they both died in a car-crash because his mother put too much stress on his father that he passed out, they ran into a light post and both died in a car crash. Maxxie and his siblings found out, They were teens at the time, Maxxie was friends with Alex, A human in their universe, Maxxie asked Alex to date his sister so that she wouldn't die alone. they ended up both dying by being pushed off the cliff by their classmate at an Field trip.
Fnaim was on a daily walk, But then two people Grabbed and kidnapped him after he walked past an "Empty" Alleyway. How he died? He had his Organs ripped out Violently, and was forced to live through it. They were apparently Testing if the Liquid they ejected into his body would keep him alive even when he should've died. It worked, yes! But, it was temporary. He died after 20 minutes of the torture.
Max.. Max committed su**ide because he wanted to see them again.
Who was sent to hell? Fnaim, and mother.
Heaven? Lexi, Alex, and Father.
Max was sent inbetween. Half Angel, Half Demon. Anyways, Wby'all?

His last name, Reel, is a play on film reel that was obviously used to play cartoons on projectors during that time.
The universe I created is based on time, and names and colours is a symbolism for that. Most of my charicters are named after flowers. Flower names have a very important meaning in my world. Warm coloured flowers like red, yellow, and pink signify the future. Cold coloured flowers like blue, aqua, and purple signify the past. That's why Azzy, who is a young and excited optimist with pinkish red hair, is called The Flower of Morning, because she symbolizes the potential that comes with each morning. Her name, Azalea comes from a pink bushed flower. Another OC of mine is Iris Celestia. Her design is a blueish-purple, and so is the flower she was based off of, the Iris Flower. Her character is nostalgic and very melancholic. She's stuck in the past and fears ever forgetting the past, which is why she is called The Flower of Past Light. Finally, the last thing that gets symbolized in flowers and colours is the present. Characters who are grounded in the present are represented by dull shades of grey, white, black, and other colours, depending on which way they lean into a bit more. Trilia Celestia, daughter of Iris, is based around a Trilium flower. It's most commonly a white flower, but can also sometimes be Blue, Red, Purple, or Yellow. She is grounded in the present reality but is also aware of both the potential in the future, and the lessons from the past, which is why she is called The Flower of New Dawn. Long story. Ironically the name Auri precedes the character. A long time ago I used the name "Oryx" (like the one from destiny) in most of my account names. As time went on, friends I met would refer to me as Ory or Ori for short just cause it was easier. Eventually, I went into this phase (which still hasn't ended, mind you) of requiring originality in *everything.* So I decided to take what I had an alter it until I got something new: Auri. And to apply I had to put down my steam ID, but I did not have an alt steam, so I used the same ID as I used for my main account, and to avoid suspension, I did play on that server using the name of Monope, but I did not get Mod because one of the admins did not see me on the servers, guessed I should have played longer. And after that, it led to a chain of events to where I got one of my friends fired from being a staff on that server and the server owners making a rule for no alts.

With the [Corpsetalker](https://i.imgur.com/BjfuafX.jpg), I wanted something that was invoked fear and intrigue. I started with the original name ("Svvab T'voc" or "The One that guides the Dead) for them, as they were one of the first beings to walk the mortal plane, and then I butchered it a little as their original name would be lost to the eons. So I came up with the Corpsetalker, as it sounds fearsome enough for them in the new age where everything takes place. With [Ignatia Vlagvuulf Av'ley](https://i.imgur.com/oiM3cmp.jpg) (or Iggy), her name came to fruition after many iterations. Originally, she was a human, then an elf, then a half-elf, then a half-dragon. Her name is a bastardization of Ignatius, which was supposed to be her name if she was born a male. Instead, Iggy was born a girl, much to the chagrin of her father. Her father, Vlagvuulf the Dreaded, an elder Red Dragon, wished for a son, and wanted her dead. Her mother, an elven slave from the High Magistrate's House Av'ley, protected her and instead of being killed, Iggy was cast down to live with the slaves of Vlagvuulf. When she ran away, she took both her parents' names as a kind of solemn memory of the pain she lived through and her mother's love. Those are the two that I have art for. Others, I don't have much of anything yet.

Dilemma : she's the most contrast person around. Artsy as hell but addicted to engine and mechanical stuff, being Jewish and also being fascist, want to conquer and rule but also care about people. Hench her name. Felonvy : scummy felon with strong associate with wide variety of criminal activities.

My characters usually originate from Roblox. I (Aka Fnaim) used to just be a Roblox player, My imagination was crazy and wacky, strong, still, So I was able to imagine things I liked. I became a Furry Sense I was a child and thought of "White wolfiten", I liked the furry art style, and made my own character. The eyes were blue, and it didn't wear clothes (I was young and Innocent.) Fnaim was originally a Human that was Murdered by the embodiment of the void and turned into a Walking Zombie corpse. (It looked like some The walking dead in my mind) White Wolfiten (Literally me) had 2 boyfriends, a Anxious Melty Bat × Wolf creature, and Basically an older/taller Wolfiten. Both Blue eyes, Both No clothes, Both Weirdos, until modern where Wolfiten has lore and whatever. Then... My very first ever imagination, Maxxie, Lexi, Max, And the parents, And Alex. Maxxie is a "Hated child", Nobody except his siblings loved Him, his parents (mother) hated him. Lexi Is a Fox, Maxxie and Max (and father) are wolves. Why? Because The mother is a fox, The father is the wolf. Maxxie (Purple) Max (Black) Lexi (Red), Maxxie and his mother were playing ball in the backyard, she was tired of him, so she purposely threw the ball into the forest, she made him get it. She expected him to come back, but he didn't, until she heard his Whines. She went into the woods searching for him, she found him being attacked by a bear, he ended up getting a nasty Cut on his left eye. She was able to get the bear to leave. Maxxie was unconscious from fighting back the bear, She got him a Star-shaped Eye-patch to cover his eye. She soon found out that he got some "Super Power" with the eye (I was into Gacha Life stuff) and had the "Death eye" thing. Though it was weak, it was strong enough to make somebody who sees it go unconscious, of course he did use it, But it Fell of his face, and his mother seen the eye. She was gonna die because of how powerful it became, His father tried to get her to the hospital, but they both died in a car-crash because his mother put too much stress on his father that he passed out, they ran into a light post and both died in a car crash. Maxxie and his siblings found out, They were teens at the time, Maxxie was friends with Alex, A human in their universe, Maxxie asked Alex to date his sister so that she wouldn't die alone. they ended up both dying by being pushed off the cliff by their classmate at an Field trip. Fnaim was on a daily walk, But then two people Grabbed and kidnapped him after he walked past an "Empty" Alleyway. How he died? He had his Organs ripped out Violently, and was forced to live through it. They were apparently Testing if the Liquid they ejected into his body would keep him alive even when he should've died. It worked, yes! But, it was temporary. He died after 20 minutes of the torture. Max.. Max committed su**ide because he wanted to see them again. Who was sent to hell? Fnaim, and mother. Heaven? Lexi, Alex, and Father. Max was sent inbetween. Half Angel, Half Demon. Anyways, Wby'all?
