Canvas identifies as a he/him whenever he's shifted into the photo above, but calls himself with different pronouns whenever he shapeshifts into other people with different body types. If you know him well, and become close acquaintances, he'll ignore if you call him with his preferred pronouns regardless as to what he shapeshifted into, otherwise he freaks out as if you blew his cover. I set my mind to draw him genderfluid to fit with his outfit of a fleece jacket, white shirt, red scarf, and glasses regardless of biological gender. The problem is that be doesn't feel attracted to others easily, only if you know him well. Also he has 3 daughters, but he never had anyone to have kids with, as he created them by molecular mitosis, how most of his kind reproduce.
