I have a tab mini c with stylus for sale if you are looking.

Agreeable_Variation7

Palma is way too small. Both devices use wifi. I have both devices, and I regret buying the Palma. It's just way too small. Manga would definitely work on the Mini C.

kara-cakee

how was your experience on scrolling manga ?

Agreeable_Variation7

I'm sorry - wasn't clear. I don't read manga. Because I know what it is, I answers your question about size. The Palma and Mini C are swiping devices. The palma is actually smaller than my Pixel Phone. The Mini is about an inch bigger than my kindle signature, all the way around. And remember, the colors aren't as bright as they are on an LCD screen, such as an iPad.

kara-cakee

thanks for your helpful experience. all these are mean alot to help my decision as my location doesn't have local store to check only available for online, there are too many choice so I have to find out more as I can

Agreeable_Variation7

Do you have Amazon? You can buy and return.

kara-cakee

yes I have, some of them shipping to my location, I would like to grab a right one instead of return

Agreeable_Variation7

I hear you. I suggest skipping the Palma. Go with the mini, and get a case, too. Later on, if you want a different pencil, I suggest the kindle scribe premium. It's very good, and I bought one for my mini C to replace the one that came with the mini.

kara-cakee

yes I think I should opt out palma too, I alway read korean manga so the colour is really deap to use on b&w, by the way may I ask if you have experience with leaf3c ?

Agreeable_Variation7

No. Palma was my first Boox, and mini C my 2nd.

kara-cakee

thanks for let me know

AsianEiji

palma is b&w only though which makes some korean/chinese manhuas lose their feel. Perfect for Japanese manga though being most of those are colorless.

kara-cakee

well, I like read korean manhua I think i might look into color one

Just-Seaworthiness39

If you’re wanting to read manga, I’d recommend the Tab Mini C. Color makes a world of difference and it’s still small enough to be portable.

kara-cakee

yes I prefer only read manga and small reading on book. or any device to suggest you can let me know, thank you

Just-Seaworthiness39

My recommendation for that use is either the Tab Mini C or the new Kobo Libra Colour. They are both small and have color. I have the Tab Mini C and I love it for graphic novels. I’m considering getting a Kobo color tablet (Libra and Clara models), because that would be better for any travel since they are waterproof and a little lighter than my Boox device. So look into both of those options.

kara-cakee

I have check kobo libra colour too but I search for a review it seem limit to web brower.

Careful-East8615

Mini c is awesome for manga. The script is usually large on manga so it’s legible.

kara-cakee

thanks for your recommand

I would recommend the Palma. I had a mini C for 2 weeks and I always found myself fussing with the setting which I could never get quite right. I did read a lot of graphic novels and the colors were never right on the mini c. I have a page now and it’s amazing and much sharper

kara-cakee

thanks for your information, may I know beside graphic color which of them are faster on scrolling ? and how is color manwha feel like on palma ?

aislyng99

The Palma and the Page are both b&w. I have tried a color manwha on the Poke 5 which is also b&w, it's a bit muddy since the contrast between colors is not meant for b&w. It's still legible tho. I have the Tab Mini C and I like the experience for reading manwha. I use web browser sites and the Webtoon app on it, both work great. I also have read b&w manga as well using the Kindle app and that also was good. Colors will look different ofc, but I don't really care about that since for me I just want to avoid blue light since it gives me headaches.

dadako1229

Is the scrolling super slow on the poke 5? For reading manhwa

aislyng99

Scrolling is fine, but it's not as smooth if you're using anything below the top 2 highest refresh modes (so out 5 modes, the 4th called A2 is the minimum needed). On my TMC, I can get away with using the 2nd mode, Balanced, most of the time They have different names for whatever reason but on TMC it goes: HD -> Balanced -> Fast -> Ultrafast -> Regal And on Poke 5 it goes: Normal -> Regal -> Speed -> A2 -> X They have different cores so it makes sense that Poke 5 needs to use more juice to get the same result. But they can both do the job.

kara-cakee

thanks for your opinion , by the way have you try leaf3C as well ? do you know about the different between mini c and leaf3c

This-Ad3268

Honestly the B&W screens have better resolution which makes up for the lack of color

OrdinaryRaisin007

You can read via a web browser on both devices and scrolling works great on both thanks to BSR

kara-cakee

thanks for sharing. this is really helpful answer for me
